SlickyTrickyDamon 03-06-2012 04:22 PM

What do you think the chances are on that? Slim to none for me. Most of these guys haven't made a good show since Voyager/Ds9.

Corporate CockSnogger 03-06-2012 04:33 PM

Not surprised there. Terra Nova was awful.

ClockShot 03-06-2012 06:14 PM

I was thinking TNT when I heard this, but since they already got Falling Skies and that too is an expensive show to put together I doubt it.

Sci-Fi is a super longshot. But I don't think they'll bite either.

ClockShot 04-09-2012 08:41 PM

Fox announces New Girl, Glee, and Raising Hope all get renewed for next season. Fringe is on the bubble.

Lock Jaw 04-09-2012 08:44 PM

I quite enjoy New Girl.

ClockShot 04-15-2012 09:50 AM

Fans of Fringe will be happy to know that the show shot two different endings. 1 is a cliffhanger in case the show gets renewed. The other is one that answers all the questions in case it's canceled.

DrA 04-15-2012 12:53 PM

They should just show the one that answers all of the questions to get it over with.

Corporate CockSnogger 04-26-2012 08:15 PM

Fringe has been signed on for a 5th and final season.

VSG 04-26-2012 08:33 PM

I know

RoXer 04-26-2012 08:33 PM

was just about to post that

ClockShot 04-26-2012 09:51 PM

13-episode half season to be exact.

Make it count.

ClockShot 05-09-2012 03:34 PM

NBC renews Law & Order: SVU for a 14th season.

I guess the tweaked cast worked out pretty good after all.

Juan 05-09-2012 07:30 PM

I may go back and watch this latest season then. I was holding off because I was afraid it was gonna get canceled due to the new cast.

I dread the day SVU is gone because it's the last L&O show left :-\

Jura 05-09-2012 08:40 PM

There are many mainstream shows that I either haven't seen an entire episode of or haven't seen it at all. Law and Order, Lost, CSI, are a few examples.

Lock Jaw 05-09-2012 08:51 PM

I also have never watched any CSI or any Law & Order. Never really got into straight up "crime" shows.

ClockShot 05-10-2012 07:46 AM

Fox cancels Alcatraz and The Finder, but renews Touch.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-10-2012 07:50 AM

That sucks, I liked The Finder :'(.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-10-2012 08:15 AM

Any word on Awake yet? I really like that show from what I've seen so far.

Cash Cab is cancelled. :nono:

Dunno on that. Most times, the networks release their schedules about a month or two after fall seasons wrap up.

Over the next couple weeks we'll know the fate of most TV shows.

ClockShot 05-10-2012 08:24 PM

NBC renews 30 Rock for a 13 episode final season. They also bring Parenthood back for a 15 episode season.

TBS picks up Cougar Town from ABC and will give it a 15 episode 4th season.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-11-2012 10:00 AM

The CW has renewed The Vampire Diaries.

So happy about that.

Jura 05-11-2012 12:05 PM

I started to like The Finder more than Bones. And Isabelle has a really nice rack.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-11-2012 12:11 PM

That she does :).

ClockShot 05-11-2012 01:59 PM

ABC renews Castle, Once Upon a Time, Grey's Anatomy, and The Middle.

They'll release their full fall schedule May 15th.

Juan 05-11-2012 05:09 PM

 The Middle

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-11-2012 05:20 PM

Parks and Recs gets a full season. The Office renewed for either 13 (to swap with Dwight's new show mid-season) or a full one. Up All Night (renewed) YAY!

Whitney picked up.

Lock Jaw 05-11-2012 05:35 PM

Yeah, I enjoyed Up All Night.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-11-2012 06:35 PM

Todd And The Book Of Pure Evil was not renewed for season 3 :'(.

Jura 05-12-2012 12:07 AM

I guess I'm glad I didn't watch any of the shows that were canceled excluding The Finder.

http://l2.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/yG...jpg_002927.jpg

Look at that rack.

Boondock Saint 05-12-2012 01:04 AM

NBC canceled Awake and Harry's Law.

Juan 05-12-2012 01:08 AM

Awake looked so good too

Juan 05-12-2012 01:08 AM

BD Wong can't catch a break

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-12-2012 01:24 AM

That sucks Awake was awesome. I'm glad Chelsey got cancelled though. Way too many shows with Whitney Cummings right now too.

ClockShot 05-12-2012 05:30 AM

And they keep on coming.

CW axes Ringer and Secret Circle.

ABC cancels GCB, Pan Am, The River, and Missing.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-12-2012 06:22 AM

Awake had a good premise, but I figured it would get axed. I just didn't see how they could keep it interesting over a long period without moving away from the procedural show style.

Ringer was pretty terrible despite having a pretty good cast.

Triple Naitch 05-12-2012 01:19 PM

Awake was interesting at first, but I got bored of it into the second episode.

Alcatraz was so good in the first episode, but then faded so fast. It had no depth. Just turned into one of those series where you don't need to watch every episode to get what was going on.

ClockShot 05-12-2012 01:25 PM

Kinda waiting for CBS to announce their schedule/cuts.

The majority of their shows are safe. But I'm expecting either one or both of the CSI spinoffs to get cancelled. Unforgetable might be gone, too.

ClockShot 05-12-2012 09:47 PM

CBS renews 2.5 Men for a 10th season.

Gonna check out Kiefer Sutherland's new show.

Ringer for sure as I  Sarah Michelle Gellar

Secret circle seems to be good as it's going to follow the Vampire Diaries.

Community, The Office usual favorites.

Sadly I'll watch the first 2-3 episodes of 90210 just to see where they go with it.

And some doctor show staring Rachel Bilson. Cause I loved her on The OC

Vampire Diaries was everything and then some.

I'll give Touch another go

Secret Circle was decent, but has been cancelled.

Community and Office were good this year.

90210 actually has had me hooked this year.

Rachel was as good as advertised. good to see her show got at least a second season

Ringer was cancelled as well

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-13-2012 03:28 AM

Never saw Vampire Diaries. I thought it was basically just for chicks.

Corporate CockSnogger 05-13-2012 08:17 AM

I watched the pilot of Touch and while I enjoyed it, I got a massive sense of "This is just Heroes minues the superpowers" and that didn't sit well with me.

ClockShot 05-13-2012 03:18 PM

CBS cancels CSI: Miami, Unforgetable, NYC 22, and Rob.

CSI: New York has been saved.

Skippord 05-13-2012 03:27 PM

it would appear that Unforgettable was actually...QUITE FORGETTABLE

....YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

VSG 05-13-2012 03:32 PM

Beat me to it

nolanve 05-13-2012 05:51 PM

So glad Parks and Rec got renewed.

What Would Kevin Do? 05-13-2012 06:46 PM

Uggggghhhhh.

NBC Thursday lineup is decent, with 30 Rock at 8, followed by Up All Night, The Office, and Parks and Rec.

Community was moved to Friday, at 8:30, and has fucking Whitney as a lead in.

Why are they determined to kill Community?

Innovator 05-13-2012 08:43 PM

They cancel the shows with promise and continue the monotonous. Fuck Whitney and fuck NBC.

St. Jimmy 05-13-2012 09:13 PM

After House is over Fox is pretty much dead to me. Just like NBC and CBS.

CSI: New York has been saved.

Are you trying to tell me I won't get my weekly Horatio Caine fix? I wonder what Horatio has to say about this.

ClockShot 05-14-2012 02:49 PM

There's a solution for that. It's called reruns.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-14-2012 04:25 PM

Maybe they'll bring him into CSI Original.

Droford 05-14-2012 10:06 PM

The new show on Fox Mob Doctor sounds interesting and the midseason Kevin Bacon show sounds promising as well.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-15-2012 05:41 AM

Bacon stooping to conquer eh?

parkmania 05-15-2012 12:39 PM

Will the guest spots on his show count toward Six Degrees?

ClockShot 05-15-2012 01:07 PM

Was just checking out ABC's fall schedule. Was hoping Castle would get moved to a better night, really gotta start watching that show more often.

Revenge got moved to sunday nights. Not a good sign.

Tazz Dan 05-15-2012 10:42 PM

Touch is good, I was also into Awake but that's been cancelled. Hart of Dixie is a guilty pleasure, but those who know me won't be surprised. I hope suits comes back soon, I loved that show. Person of Interest and Once Upon a Time I also liked. Feel like I'm kinda rambling here.... The River did nothing for me either.

ClockShot 05-21-2012 10:02 PM

So long, House. :wavesad: :'(

Syfy's Sanctuary Cancelled

Juan 05-22-2012 07:32 PM

I think I give Men at Work five episodes before it gets canned.

Tazz Dan 05-30-2012 05:09 AM

I was going to download this. Kinda glad I didn't from what I've read.

Innovator 05-30-2012 10:33 AM

I like the way Awake wrapped up, but I wish there was a season 2 to see where it went.

Dark-Slicer Diago 05-30-2012 10:41 AM

I'm in the same boat, Inno, was it all in his head or a foreshadowing that he could prevent from happening?

Edge was on Haven.

And Sanctuary, too. Had a small guest role in the beginning of the season.

I'll miss the show, enjoyed it. Willing to be it was getting expensive to make since it was 75% CGI 25% real. Agam Dashi was nice to look at.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JwfCRAtkYEI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

This show seems like it could be quite excellent.

I thought they were saying that because they used mostly CGI that it was cheaper to produce than a regular show but it seems even if a show is made cheaply it will still be canceled if it doesn't get the ratings they want.
I don't dislike Eureka but I don't see how it's still on but they canceled all the Stargates and everything else.

Darshi wasn't in many of the episodes in the last season for some reason and now it seems she can't do a regular season now that it's canceled. Amanda Tapping was pretty good to look at too. After she had a baby she had a more womanly figure instead of that tom-boyish figure early on. She's probably tight with some peeps at Syfy so hopefully we see her soon.

ClockShot 06-04-2012 03:49 PM

Spartacus is ending after this season.

Jura 06-05-2012 12:02 AM

Technically next season. This season ended a few months ago.

Thank you Viva Bianca for your contributions to Spartacus.
