ECW December to Dismember was the best PPV of all time... :shifty:

That's not cool!

I ejaculate saliva in the facial area of individuals who do not desire to be in accordance with today's social trends.

CM Punk isn't very good.

Breaking the fourth wall doesn't make a very good character. If it did, Russo would be a fucking GOD.

Wehttam 12-22-2012 02:01 PM

are these sandow memes supposed to be funny due to bad grammar/spelling?

Kane Knight 12-22-2012 02:09 PM

I have to point out the obvious intent here, don't I?

No, that's how wrestling fans spel.

He's backed away from breaking the fourth wall as much. He gives a believable promo. Mainly because he really does seem to be an asshole so he doesn't have to try hard.

Next Big Thing 12-22-2012 04:46 PM

HHH as a heel was more entertaining/interesting than Austin, Rock and Hogan.

Joesgonnakillyou 12-22-2012 05:26 PM

Not sure if this is unpopular but I hated Evolution.

I'm not really a big fan of considering that "character," either.

I don't really care much about him personally either way, though.

Side note: this also applies to movies and TV. Even more so, really; it is my unpopular opinion that anyone who considered Nicholas Cage an actor should be sterilised forcibly.

Phil Brooks, by comparison, is tolerable.

lol. It's almost a joke that people praise it so much now while saying how crazy of a concept it is to have had enjoyed it.

It was Smackdown. There wasn't a lot of stock put into it. But it wasn't really anything special and it didn't get Swagger or the title over. There were some unique moments that came from it. It just didn't serve much of a purpose.

It's kind of surreal to think that Swagger was the champ. He literally won the briefcase out of nowhere. I loved the whole thing, though, and do think that his reign ended prematurely.

Lol I said the exact same thing comparing Punk to Russo when Punk started with this thing and people here had a. Shitfit, but it's true. There's no difference whatsoever. Punk just has indie cred and Russo doesn't.

The Condor 12-27-2012 02:10 AM

I always thought Steve Corino was the shit when I was younger. Loved the King of Old School persona. Never hear anyone talk about him these days so I'm unaware of the popularity of this opinion.

Bad News Gertner 12-27-2012 02:11 AM

Yeah Steve Corino was awesome in ECW.

KaosDarksol 12-27-2012 02:44 AM

Loved jack swagger and miz as world champions and would love to see world or wwe title runs for both of them in the future. Why has jack swagger not returned yet guess he could be in the rumble

Yeah, Russo made the mistake of addressing audiences in surplus of single digits.

Mine is:

As much as I appreciate workrate.. Working the crowd is ALWAYS better.

-or-

Internet wrestling fans are the easiest to work.

Theo Dious 12-27-2012 08:01 PM

I think someone may have said this already, but Antonio Cesaro is boring as fuck and he executes the anti-American gimmick as well as Elmer Fudd with Bugs Bunny's finger in his gun.

I 100 percent agree. People are already saying he's the WWE's next main eventer and that's ridiculous

Yeah arguing with commentators as to whether you're carrying a purse or a satchel is the stuff of wrestling legend.

#1-norm-fan 12-27-2012 10:43 PM

I don't think he has much main event potential but I also think Cesaro haters are entirely too harsh. I think he's good but he needs a mouthpiece.

AJHayes 12-27-2012 11:01 PM

Or is he a really effective heel because he's not allowing a redeeming quality?

We balence those who circle jerk all over him

Shisen Kopf 12-27-2012 11:26 PM

I don't know if I should post right after Gertner. However, Cesaro is very good. I could see him being the next Bret Hart. Totally awesome at the workrate and seriously serious in the business of seriousness. Great rassler.

Good heels don't do anything right.

That makes X-Pac the greatest heel ever.

And Matt Hardy the second greatest.

I find Edge to be overrated and never could consider him a legit world champ.

Christian: one of the last guys from the Attitude Era. Decent on the stick and pretty good wrestler.

Swagger: NCAA Champion Wrestler. Looks like Biff Tannen.

#1-norm-fan 12-28-2012 02:05 AM

I think Christian is fucking fantastic in pretty much every way. His only issue is his size/the fact that he has the body of an in-shape 80 year old man.

The Condor 12-28-2012 02:14 AM

I like Christian too and his body is exactly how you describe it. However, did you ever notice that his skin appears jaundice? Bad spray tan or something.

I've always thought that about him too, ever since he went to TNA.

I'm sure I've actually mentioned it here before, but before he went to TNA, his skin was a pretty normal caucasian colour for a caucasian man. Then he went to TNA and slowly began appearing more yellow/jaundice.

Then when he returned to the WWE, he was just completely yellow/jaundice.

If I had to guess why, then it's probably just the way his skin tans maybe?

Cool King 12-28-2012 08:00 AM

Ah, here it is. From way back about two years ago.

There must be something in the water over in Orlando.

Cool King 12-28-2012 08:00 AM

(Left to Right) Christian in the WWE around 2003 - Christian just arriving at TNA in 2006 - Christian nearing the end of his three years with TNA - Christian now
