It's amazing how people forget that he was a tag team champion with David Otunga for a very long time on RAW.

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2013 09:06 PM

LOL he hit the ground like a bitch.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:06 PM

When Heyman was talking about how this will be the moment and so on, I was thinking of Axel and his NXT promo.

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:06 PM

Evening guys. Just got home from work.

Just saw Perfect Jr. in the ring. Where'd he been hiding?

Did I miss The Shield?

That was Michael McGillicutty, jackass.

Immortal Moose 05-20-2013 09:07 PM

HHH has no reason to bury him, or anyone anymore really, hopefully he'll give him a bump.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:07 PM

What Dave said has reminded me, I was close with my guess of David Otunga. :shifty:

It's amazing how forgettable that tag team was.

VSG 05-20-2013 09:08 PM

The ONLY good thing to happen in that match is a HHH beatdown- maybe Lesnar interferes but Curt Axel simply HAS to come out tonight looking good.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:08 PM

Nah, The Shield still have to appear tonight.

KyleEmmott 05-20-2013 09:08 PM

I'm all for HHH getting one more run with the belt.

Arrogance 05-20-2013 09:08 PM

I want to see Joe Hennig go over more than I would like to see someone kick the shit out of Ed Sheeran.

Evil Vito 05-20-2013 09:08 PM

<font color=goldenrod>This show gets a temporary reprieve because the prospect of seeing Axel get his ass destroyed by Triple H is too great to pass up. Still think there's a chance of somebody else coming out.</font>

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2013 09:09 PM

Well the good thing is, unless this night just ends with Axel losing and Heyman's REAL new client coming out to destroy him, maybe they're gonna give Heyman a real stable of guys to try to get over.

I worry about McGillicutty though. I don't see the potential yet. This could very likely all be a waste.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:09 PM

Axel's Wikipedia page is currently getting vandalised.

Lock Jaw 05-20-2013 09:09 PM

Should have gone with just "Curt" instead of "Curtis". Curtis Axel is one syllable too long. Curt Axel is just right.

Crazy Nick 05-20-2013 09:10 PM

I was kind of expecting someone else, but this is a good way to introduce Joe Hennig into the mix, I really don't care too much for the name but I guess it will catch on.

Lock Jaw 05-20-2013 09:10 PM

Maybe they were worried that people would confuse a "Curt Axel" with Kurt Angle.

Dude has so much potential but, something just hasn't "clicked".

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:11 PM

Any grumblings around the dirt sheets about CM Punk coming back? Maybe as Heyman's new guy AND front man of The Shield?

At least, that's how I would do it.

I was really hoping it was going to be Ryder that would get his career back on track.

Keith 05-20-2013 09:13 PM

Hopefully The Shield interferes in that Axel/HHH match.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:13 PM

Hmm, Langston and AJ. I'm so tempted to use this as my piss break.

Didn't the titantron video say "Curt"? Maybe Heyman will just call him "Curtis".

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:13 PM

Ambulance match tonight? Or is that just part of tonight's set?

Ryback drove it in at the start of the show and said he wants Cena in an Ambulance Match at Payback next month.

For about a week. Then people would remember he's Zack Ryder and has little hope of ever being a real star.

Ryback/Cena.

Ambulance match.

Carlton..I mean Otunga is busy doing the WWE media rounds and has been said to be an excellent representative for the company.

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2013 09:16 PM

This match is a pretty big deal right now even though it's kinda come out of nowhere.

Arrogance 05-20-2013 09:17 PM

Langston should use Scott Norton's old finisher, just sayin'.

That's a huge victory for Big E.

That's why I have a problem with the name change, I hate McGillicutty, but they act like we're supposed to forget he even used to do anything

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:20 PM

Sweet entrance for Ryback.

KIRA 05-20-2013 09:21 PM

I was hoping for Scott Steiner

He should make it his regular entrance (like JBL and Del Rio, but with an amberlamps).

I get the feeling that Triple H is going to return to a full time role or more than just part time this year, and possibly one more run with the title. AM I CRAZY?

Think it said "Curt" since it wasn't longer than the Axel part but looks like the WWE just ignored or forgot what it even said since he's now "Curtis"

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:26 PM

Fucking hell, more AJ.

KIRA 05-20-2013 09:27 PM

Shouldn't all this make Katelyn the heel?

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:27 PM

AJ chillin' on those ropes HBK style.

I like it.

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:27 PM

Love how everyone is hoping Hennig's kid wins even though he's fucking terrible. Everyone here always laughs at the "workrate" internet fans, but that's all you're doing here. Axel... ew I hate even typing that... is decent in the ring, but he's nowhere near capable of ever being a star at least now without some serious work on his personality.

Corndad 05-20-2013 09:28 PM

Tamina eating a Banana. Why did I just crack up seeing that.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:28 PM

"Download the WWE App, where you can watch The Bella Twins watching TV!"

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

Did Lawler just call AJ a ring rat?

GD 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

The loser gets to tap AJ's ass. Not bad.

KyleEmmott 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

Too bad a diva has one of the coolest submissions in the WWE..

Immortal Moose 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

Tappin that ass

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

What happened to the teasing of a Layla heel turn? Guess WWE really can't be bothered with the Divas. :(

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2013 09:29 PM

Layla is awesome. I'm sad that her start-stop push is currently in stop mode.

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:30 PM

"Randy Oaten".

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:30 PM

AJ is incredible, just purely incredible.

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:31 PM

Curtis... fuck it is Curtis...

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:31 PM

Layla once again proves to be a not so secret lesbian.

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:32 PM

KIRA 05-20-2013 09:33 PM

I'm glad when divas can actually wrestle (and are good at it) sucks the crowd doesnt appreciate it,though years of burial and lack of care are really to blame for that.

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:34 PM

It said Curt... I think either the production team fucked up or something.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:34 PM

No Music for both with two great themes :(

Cool King 05-20-2013 09:35 PM

Wow, Ryback's watching TV now!

This App is too good to pass up!

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:35 PM

What the fuck... Ryder vs Rhodes? Guess we're gonna find out who's king of the jobbers tonight.

KyleEmmott 05-20-2013 09:36 PM

It's too bad Zack Ryder is a great in ring performer, and all of his squash matches, he does a great job.

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:36 PM

I'll admit, I totally thought Ryder was gonna win that.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:37 PM

Stealing Brock's nickname to use on Ryback Cole already?

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:37 PM

Poor Ryder... we'd like to wish him well in his future endeavors.

Corndad 05-20-2013 09:37 PM

Poor Ryder lol

KyleEmmott 05-20-2013 09:37 PM

LEAVE RYDER ALONE

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2013 09:38 PM

Cody vs Ryder? Am I watching Superstars?

Wishbone 05-20-2013 09:38 PM

JBL: "This kid's got a great future ahead of him"

He just lost to the Miz last night and only beat a guy who hasn't won a match in... ever.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:38 PM

Rytista Bomb.

mike adamle 05-20-2013 09:39 PM

I hope Ryback rapes Zack in the middle of the ring to send John a message

ClockShot 05-20-2013 09:39 PM

Ryder's going for a ride.

SlickyTrickyDamon 05-20-2013 09:40 PM

Goodbye Ryder.

Immortal Moose 05-20-2013 09:40 PM

If anything these two should team up

GD 05-20-2013 09:40 PM

I am yawning.
