Damn Cena might be mad.
Why isn't the ref wearing gloves?!!!
Did Cena just ask the ref what time is it
Only 5 more AAs to go to get the win, Cena!
Cena's new finisher should be the small package.

Holy shit at Cena's nose.
he PINNED the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Cole?! :wtf:
Might we get NBA mask Cena next week?
Mad love and respect for Cena.
JBL throwing out a "son of a bitch."
This main event got really real. For really reals. |
Will they ever let Seth hit the Phoenix Splash?
Maybe don't actually try to break dudes faces with your knee, Rollins. You fuck.
Probably better ways to build to a Cena/Rollins Summerslam match then give a match away for free on RAW where Cena cleanly beats the champ.

Based on that closing shot of Rollins, he clearly broke his knee on Cena's face.

"Grotesque" Cena next week
Jesus...Rollins really is the worst booked champion ever.
It's not a "oh god Cena wins" thing ever. The champion should just never do a clean job on free TV. Why watch the PPV to see the same exact match? |
Bye Bye Ric Flair's record :wavesad:

John Cena doesn't work Tuesdays
Hope Rollins cuts a promo saying he came out of it unscathed meanwhile Cena looks like a crosseyed inbred, so he's the real winner. Would be kinda funny

Wouldn't be surprised if the Authority starts to cozy up to Cena again while treating Rollins like dirt similar to when Orton was their hand pick choice against Cena. |
Wow. I leave to pick up my dad from work as Randy Orton squares off against Kevin Owens. Now I get back home...I can't put my finger on it, but Kevin Owens looks a little different...
lol at the internet.
"Anyone would have finished the match with a broken nose. It's not that big of a deal." Fuck right on off. Dude's nose is plastered to his cheek. That's not "just" a broken nose. No offense to Owens, but it's not like when CJ Parker broke his nose with a palm strike. |

Rollins should mimic Bryan's knee catchphrase and call his "The Knee That Broke John Cena's Nose." Just have him constantly threaten to do the same till their Summerslam rematch since he 's going to need all the help to not be seen as just a weakling of a champ now.

Emotionless lady on the right side in a red spotlight creeping me out.
It doesn't matter if Christ himself comes strolling down to the ring for a match against the champ. The champ should never do a clean job on TV.
This Rollins shit makes me upset at the supposed rumor that Triple H of all people is pushing for him to be booked this way, so he can act like the "disappointed dad". Sounds like it comes down to him wanting to work a match with Rollins down the line.
Meanwhile Vince is the one sounding sane, saying he wants Rollins to become just a total bastard heel champion like Edge. |
After his nose broke Vince should have made the call for Rollins to win by DQ something or even TKO. It did make the champ look we weak losing a match were he broke his opponents nose, I know it wasn't planed but something could have been improvised. Then you would have broken nose Cena beating the odds at SS.

Looking at that gif did rollins pull his head down or did cena do that on his own? Cause i think it would have went off fine otherwise.

Yeah... Rollins' booking has me extremely perplexed. But then again, the face/heel authority angles have been completely inconsistent the past few months, so I have no clue what's going on. Definitely don't understand why Rollins jobbed as cleanly as you can on free TV. It only sets him up into the underdog role--except he's a heel.
tl;dr: What everyone else said about Rollins. |
Props to Cena for carrying on, it's more than just a broken nose, fucks up big time with your breathing. Still, not as bad as this one:

I am just so tired of John Cena....

Flair has 22 anyways, wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Yeah, but unless something's changed, WWE have only ever recognized 16 of them.
those other 6 title reigns must have made racist remarks or murdered their families.
Or they failed a random drug test 3 times.
I think the only thing keeping Cena from getting another reign is flairs record.....I sincerely hope Flair doesn't release a racist sextape....

Yeah, pretty sure everyone is giving Cena mad props.
The opening promo was pretty much pointless. Like, it was ENTIRELY redundant. Bad TV. You could have had RAW open, had some bumpers for the matches coming up, then have Dean Ambrose come out for his match against Big Show. I liked the ladies' matches, but I felt as if the crowd wasn't as into them as last week. I don't want to be premature, but I think you run the risk of steam being lost if you retain the parity elements where some girls win and some girls lose and they all come out looking "pretty good." We need some promos and actual rivalries to come out of this. Sasha Banks beating Paige was fine, because Paige can say "Maybe I underestimated you, but I won't next time." There's a feud. Charlotte and Naomi can feud over who the better freak athlete is in the division. Alicia Fox can lose standing with The Bellas for losing to Becky Lynch, so she needs to prove herself against her. She can cheat to win a singles match between them and then the two have a mutual gripe. Fuck it, I dunno. Everything is pretty good right now, but also keeping in mind that these are long shows, I think crowd fatigue sets in, and not everything gets as over as it could be. The New Day are fucking hilarious. Los Matadores are so good. Seriously misused talent. The Lucha Dragons are a bunch of fun too. I'm glad they're now in the title picture. I want to see some actual development of their personalities. The Prime Time Players would be so much better as a heel team, I've just decided. Cesaro looks like a bad-ass in his street gear. I'm looking forward to him teaming with Orton against Owens and Sheamus. Cena & Cesaro vs. Rollins & Owens makes even more sense. Please get awesome at promos, Cesaro. That way you might keep your spot this time. The match between Cena vs. Rollins was awesome, and they both worked hard to make it a spectacle. Beyond the booking problems though, I can imagine Jim Cornette pointing out they followed up a gunshot with a stabbing in there. I appreciate the effort Cena is putting in, I do -- but did the dude legitimately kick out of a top rope superplex rolled into a Falcon Arrow? Fuck off with that shit. I can suspend disbelief, but some stuff just needs to be kept in the back pocket, you know? That being said, good news for The Young Bucks is that there is probably a job as the top team of the WWE's tag division waiting for them, and they won't even need to work smarter. My guess is that Rollins follows this loss up with a promo explaining that the only reason he tapped out was because he's already the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, so he's the top guy regardless of what happens. But then The Authority make him put his title on the line against Cena at SummerSlam or something and Seth tantrums, making him look tremendous (that is sarcasm). I completely agree with the booking gripes. What would have been wrong with Cena teaming with someone to face Rollins and a partner in the main event? As I said, Cena & Cesaro vs. Rollins & Owens would have actually been PERFECT. Whatever. |
Also, this week was the most I have enjoyed Rusev's shifted persona. His promo with Summer was pretty funny. Dude is getting so good in the ring too. Can't wait for him vs. Dolph, to be honest.
