Glad to see that Stardust/Ascension thing went well. They really gave it a shot with a few angles and whatnot.

Lock Jaw 01-11-2016 10:58 PM

Triple H obviously entering #30 and winning

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 10:58 PM

Where the F is Brock? Just get to it already.

Locke 01-11-2016 10:58 PM

10 minutes wasted in this segment so far

for whatever reason, they only ever seem to be together on Smackdown, never on RAW

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 10:59 PM

Also, I'm officially over Jericho. He jumped the shark a while ago, but I kept hoping.

It's definitely this, but I wouldn't complain. It is their best option right now tbh

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 11:01 PM

1) Start brawl
2) Send out Brock
3) End show

Corndad 01-11-2016 11:01 PM

Well look on the bright side guys least we have NXT Takeover to look forward to at the end of this Road to Wrestlemania

Evil Vito 01-11-2016 11:01 PM

so they didn't want to do just a regular Owens/Reigns main event so they put everyone else out there as Lesnar fodder?

Locke 01-11-2016 11:01 PM

These two should punch each other some more

Emperor Smeat 01-11-2016 11:01 PM

 Saxton's reaction to getting his mic cut

He is ruining his legacy. He would probably be annoyed at people thinking that, but he is. Sometimes great careers should just be left alone. Far too many lukewarm comebacks.

Sad that this emergency chord may need to be pulled.

He would be all smarmy about how no one knows about the business blah blah blah I love Lemmy, here's my scarf.

Dark One 01-11-2016 11:04 PM

R.I.P. New Day.

Locke 01-11-2016 11:06 PM

That whole thing seemed really poorly planned out

Evil Vito 01-11-2016 11:06 PM

lol @ the Wyatts doing nothing during the brawl and just disappearing

Maluco 01-11-2016 11:06 PM

RIP roster

Lock Jaw 01-11-2016 11:07 PM

Very sad about no Paul Heyman promo tonight

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 11:07 PM

Times like this, when you're looking at Brock to save the Rumble and RTWM, you realize it was probably a good thing he beat Taker.

Scarf was the worst part for me lol

Dark One 01-11-2016 11:08 PM

That was... certainly... a show?

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 11:08 PM

Scarfs = ROCK N ROLL!!!!! YEAH!!!

Simple Fan 01-11-2016 11:10 PM

Would have made more since if that was just a big handicap match. At least should have had Konner, Viktor, Breeze, and Stardust lose to Reigns before Owens got in.

Evil Vito 01-11-2016 11:10 PM

I couldn't make it through the last 2 Raws. Hadn't watched for a month or two before that. Only watched tonight to try to stay on top of storylines in advance of the Rumble since that's always my favorite PPV of the year.

If the Rumble goes as I think it will, I have a feeling I won't even be watching the road to WM. Just so hard to care.

Frank Drebin 01-11-2016 11:10 PM

The NJPW guys can't get here fast enough to get misused and placed in a go-nowhere feud with the Dudley Boys.

Maluco 01-11-2016 11:12 PM

Don't want to be a massive downer but a full Mania card looms very difficult to pull off out of that lot. Every heel is destroyed easily by Lesnar bar the Wyatt's who got chased off by the social outcasts, ignored by Vince and just stood around aimlessly at the end before leaving.

Where are the money matches going to come from? Where are the credible guys to carry singles matches and stories?

It is at least interesting to see what they'll do. The rash of injuries have really put a magnifying glass on all of the garbage they currently believe in. Lack of development of certain characters, reliance on old dudes and the 50/50 booking philosophy have made it near impossible to make new stars.

weather vane 01-12-2016 12:22 AM

How many Rumble spots confirmed so far?

Yeah, was going to say, I am actually really curious. If the Rock can wrestle then I would fully expect them to hang the show on him and Lesnar with HHH/Reigns for the title.

If he can't wrestle, I have genuinely no idea how the top of the card will look because even guys I enjoy like Owens haven't been built well enough to be a credible threat to someone like Lesnar

Ruien 01-12-2016 07:32 AM

They are building the Wyatts to do something huge. No Idea yet but they will be the third focal point of WM.

Frank Drebin 01-12-2016 07:33 AM

Time for a Randy Savage hologram.

If they are building them to be something huge then last night was a baffling start. Getting ignored by Vince ruined their aura at the start, then getting ran off by Ryback and the outcasts. They then finished the show just hanging around the ring before wandering off.

Bray Wyatt needs a big singles win, they can't keep building him up to lose, it just doesn't work. To be intimidating and have intrigue, you need to look scary and you need to win matches.

If you had to guess, what do you think could happen? Wyatt's vs Bullet Club maybe?

Heisenberg 01-12-2016 08:51 AM

Didn't get to watch last night, saw the highlights on the WWE facebook page that they post almost immediately. Safe to say it was just another show

slik 01-12-2016 09:03 AM

yeah @ HeisenFriend

It was just 'ok'. Highlights were Vince randomly no-selling The Demon Bray at the beginning of the show, Kalisto winning the U.S. Title (Viva La Kalisto) and Brock Lesnar destroying A New Day, Sheamus, Del Rio, Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns b/c he wants BLOOD.
