Hangman was already on Team Cody. Marty went from being conflicted on night 1 to having no issue breaking Kenny's fingers on night 2. And now the Bucks got offended at Kenny calling the Golden Lovers the best team in the world and so they're moving up to the heavyweight division with a match between the teams all but assured at some point.
Think it's safe to say Kenny is no longer in The Elite. |
Cody crashed Hangman's post match interview on night 1 and Hangman actually got pissed off that Cody was hogging the spotlight and shit talking Kenny in the ring while he was in the back talking about the match, so they were even teasing tension there.

Guess with the Young Bucks announcement at the end, Jr Tag division now belongs to Sho and Yoh for the foreseeable future. |
Hiromu / Bushi maybe since they seem to be moving Hiromu away from the Jr title picture. If they're keeping the heavyweight belts on SANADA / EVIL for a bit then strapping them could play into Naito's post WK underachiever angle.

They should have run a bigger building. Selling out 5,000 in 20 minutes before the card is known is great. Now Bucks/Golden Lovers, Mysterio/Liger & Jericho/Naito could have done huge for them.
On one hand, good on them being conservative and trying to grow slowly. But for one night only, they should have taken the risk I think. |

Tana/Okada has been done to death so he won't win unless he has a death wish and wants another shot at Suzuki. I can't see them giving SANADA a second title match in a row. And Naito really shouldn't get another title match so soon unless the plan is for him to finally win it. So yeah, my money's on Ishii. |
