I think I'm gonna do a Hart Foundation Coliseum Home Video watch tonight.
I still wanna build a bit of a group before starting a second night just for the sake of not splitting the already small audience. If/when we start a weekly Primetime watch along, does anyone have thoughts on a day and time?
Thursday is the only option IMO.

Do it! I'll join! |

goddammit i missed this again due to... oh it doesn't matter i'll try to be back this week! i swear!
- bring back the superstation ringmat.
- what a tag title match. that ref bump was hilarious, though. - this woman fucking amazed by the crowd. cheering? booing? oh hell yeah. - magnum wants a car ride with copenhagen so bad. - ok the bob johnson interview feels like some absurd satire. this pencil neck geek just sitting there nodding as bob drones on and on. |
Who wants to watch some random-as-fuck California indy shit from the early 90s tonight and see if they recognize anyone who went on to fame? I found a gem. I’m looking at you, Gertner.
I do! Which promotion?
It’s called “Bay Area Wrestling “. I have never heard of it despite that being the age where I was always looking for new wrestling on TV. A friend of mine sent me a clip and it led me down a rabbit hole.
See you all tonight!
Yeah I’m up for the next several hours. First day of my three week holiday.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! |
#1 are you going to stay for the Rumble because it’s on the WWE YouTube channel if you want to load it up after, if not can you Admin me in the room?
Rumor has it David Crockett is still recovering from The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express losing the tag titles last week and Tony will be going it alone.
I hope we get a really good turn out tonight.
Also a Mulkey wouldn’t go amiss. |

David Crockett will mention the tag titles within the first three sentences of his intro.
mulkeymania running wild!

Heenan commentary will be a nice first for the thread. |

Would love to meet a Mulkey or two |
holy shit i am working on a file at work with the last name MULKEY. it's surely a sign of good things to come!
Last week I said “Hi Ron” to a non-Ron named Supreme Olajuwon when he logged on.
Rap music. |
I want there to be a musical 3 minute pre-show for anyone with the guts to arrive early.
Obviously D-Lo Brown’s Theme. |
Might start the room and drop a little pre-show video in about an hour for anyone who wants to drop in early. Stay tuned!
Interesting...
5 minutes!
Remember to change your name in settings.
That was fun.
Indeed.

Money Money Money
record amount of participants tonight lads. big numbers.
Packed house for the show tonight!
They all came out for Mulkey-Mania.
Watching the show now due to sleeping on toilets all night.
Rumble was good at least. |
Midnights match was fun, Bobby lands ass first on a jobber and it looks like he concusses him.
Arn Vs Mulkey is just beautiful stuff. That’s what a jobber squash should look like. |
9 viewers tonight!
Impact Wrestling, we're coming for you! |
I spent the Rumble improving Ted Debusey.
I should probably actually be a commentator. |
A suggestion for next week, how about after the main card we try an episode of ECW? Or even a February 1986 episode of Memphis Wrestling? Just to get another perspective of redneck rasslin round the same time!
We gotta get to Crockett Cup 86. I haven't seen the show before and have been looking forward to it.
I like the idea of switching up the 2nd show every week. Especially since everyone stuck around and seemed to have a good time. Might do another 30 minute pre-show next week too.
And I’m definitely planning on showing The Crockett Cup when the time comes. Just trying to figure out which version to show. There’s one that seems to be at least the main show without the matinee matches but no commentary and there’s the VHS release that’s more condensed and poorer quality but with commentary. Both versions seem to skip the finals though for some odd reason. One literally just blurs out the finals. Lol I haven’t checked the one in the link you sent me yet, Gertner. I’m having trouble getting it to start but I assume it’s the same non-VHS one I found. |
Well definitely watch some version of it though even if I have to piece the finals in myself.
Coming soon to an appstore near you:
TPWW Network $5.99 / month |
I'm def in next week if I get home on time!

Are you able to stream only Youtube links via the chat or can you do other services like Dailymotion?
Just YouTube on that site. I could eventually test out other sites but this one is working so well so far.

Got a version with the match on it via a link Gertner sent me. So between that and the other two videos, I can piece together the full event.
If anyone is online in four or five hours I might stick on a 92 WCW and maybe a Rumble after.
Ah, AEW is tonight.
Old wrestling is better... |

I’m still up so I’m looking for a show to watch. Plenty of Superstars on the Superstation...
We watched an 85 episode of Continental Wrestling, Mr. Perfect vs Bret Hart at KOTR 93 and Roddy Piper vs Tonga Kid from Madison Square Garden 1984. Great selections.
The Tonga Kid was hot like nobody in WWE has been for years.
Crowd reaction sounded absurd in today’s day and age. WWE slowly becoming old Japan with the silence. |
Noid you need to be getting in on this.
Old wrestling needs you. |
It just dawned on me that I chose Thursday nights because of the lack of wrestling competition but now I’ve got Thursday Night Football to contend with.
It ain’t easy running a wrestling juggernaut! |
i may be a minority on this here, but i don't give a fuck about football so no conflict here!
screw thursday night garbageball
The crossover between wrestling fans and football fans isn't as high as you think.
Unless my Pats are playing I'll be there. |
I’m doing the game on the TV at a low volume and Schiavone’s moustache on the computer at a proper volume. It’s a good solution if any part of our massive double digit audience has the same dilemma.
TPDUB! TPDUB! TPDUB!
Tomorrow Night!
Can Sam Houston pull off another huge upset when he challenges Arn Anderson for the Television Title? The Midnight Express defend the World Tag Team Titles against the team of Ron Bass and Don Kernodle! Paul Jones will introduce the newest member of his army! We’ll hear from Dusty Rhodes for the first time since his National Heavyweight Title defense against Tully Blanchard! Will David Crockett find the power to pull himself out of his deep depression and come to work? “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant, Tully Blanchard, Ron Garvin and Magnum T.A. will be in action! And much more! Pre-show at 8:30 EST, main show at 9:00 EST! |
Remember when I made a Paul Jones/Stan Lane hair joke and somebody didn’t get it and sincerely stated it was a wig?
That’s the banter you will miss out on. And puns. |
Ron Bass has been headline news lately.
I think him and Kernodle might just make David Crockett’s day. |
I just hope he’s well enough to see it happen live!
I’m getting antsy waiting for my fix.
Don’t fall asleep!
I’ve had two tall cans of Monster.
I’m off my tits. |
Will Anna Jay be on?
No but Baby Doll will. I’d love to hear what you wanna do to her, you sick bastard.
She’d look like an Oinkette in front of a modern camera.
I wouldnt even finger fuck her with your fingers.
Terrible jobbers this week.
Good chat though. |
And that slingshot suplex... out of this world.
Seanny saved the day. Laptop only from now on.

Tully match was great. Rumor has it the higher ups were raving about it backstage and that Ray Traylor kid may be in line for a push.
Who’s rasslin’ this week?
We are now competing with DSOTR, but I will be there. Gotta duck out early since I'm headed on vacation the next morning
TOMORROW NIGHT...
- Ric Flair debuts a brand new very big, very gold NWA World Championship belt! - The debut of “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin and Precious! - Paul Jones’ newest acquisition Teijho Khan makes his in-ring debut! - Arn Anderson defends his World Television Championship against Jr. Heavyweight Champion Denny Brown! - Tully Blanchard, Ron Garvin, The Midnight Express and Magnum T.A. will be in action! And much And much more! Pre-show at 8:30 EST, main show at 9:00 EST! |
there appears to be a real lack of wrinkly human penis baron von raschke this week...
Teijo Khan the great!
We've got a great pre show match as well
Good stuff.
Will it be run through an old mobile phone for maximum smoothness? |
We’ve grown over the past couple weeks to the point that we can afford to upgrade our facilities.
Should I spoil the participants in the pre-show match or nah?
Please do
Quote:
Teijo Kahn came out of that lake like a bass slid up his ass. Run the 40 yard dash in 3.5 seconds? Don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining, it's PISS! |
Teijo Kahn is also fucking horrendous. Lol I'm sorry if I got anyones hopes up.
I urge everyone to tune in tonight and judge for yourself!
i'd be happier if mark gullen was gonna be there, too.
Also, Gertner has sent in his dream match cards and letters and as a result The British Bulldogs will face The Islanders in a special pre-show match!
I hope I get a copy of the WWF Merchandise Magazine!
And it's a fantastic match. Heel Islanders are fucking amazing. |
I can't wait to get till later 86 when Bobby Jaggers comes back and Shisen loses his mind
