For those that collect wrestling trading cards, Topps might have accidentally spoiled at least one major draft pick for this year's WWE Draft based on their newest batch of WWE cards.
At least one major star from NXT is currently rumored to be heading to the Blue brand and a potential spoiler for one of the title matches on next week's show. SPOILER: show |
Probably but all depends on if you view NXT going to USA Network as its own era or just a continuation of WWE Network era.
Its at least 3.0 as a minimum but I've seen others go as high as 5.0-7.0 because they split up WWE Network and USA into its own eras and also split up WWE Network into 2-3 other eras based on NXT's shift & focus towards indies guys or key people groups. Personally, I'd go with 4.0 mainly because NXT's move to USA Network was a big shift on how the brand was run compared to Network era. |

Seems dumb to me that they did this complete NXT reboot just to put the title on Tommy Champs again. He's been spending the last 6 months being HIGHLY entertaining with Thatcher in the tag division, nowhere near the belt. I think he's incredible but kind of goes against the whole idea of a reboot. |

Was watching NJPW's Strong show from earlier tonight and had an epiphany of sorts during the Ren Narita vs. Fred Rosser match.
Was wondering during this past week's episode of NXT why Andre Chase looked way too familiar to someone else I've recently seen in wrestling and turns out he looks just like NJPW's main ref for their Strong shows. Right down to a similar looking build and facial hair style. |

Last I heard WALTER still doesn't want to move to the US full-time but he's basically got an open invite to fly in whenever he wants to do anything.
Feel like transatlantic flights twice a week indefinitely would break down anyone when you consider the constant jet lag and the overall exhaustion that goes with all the bullshit you gotta deal with at the airport, especially for international flights. But if he were willing to do that's a guy you feature as often as possible. |

Bron Steiner just proves sometimes if they take a chance the guy might rise to the occasion. Last year they probably would have kept him off NXT until he was 25. And Jacy Jayne is...underprepared. I say this every time I watch him wrestle but Wes Lee is great. Always smooth as hell. Imperium just seems so meh without WALTER. They're phenomenal wrestlers, but they bore me. Breakker vs. Ciampa was pretty good. Bron has the IT Factor. 144 2/3% chance that he's a star. Loved seeing him bust out some old school Uncle Scott shit. Feels like it was a star making performance. Ciampa is a great guy to be this gatekeeper champion, he works rather well with everyone. |
