I'm sure it's some freshly packaged ex-bodybuilder with some terrible gimmick coming out of OVW after three months of "training" because he has the "look".
He'll get a monster push and buried all within the next 9-12 months. And by this time next year he will have been wished the best in all his future endeavors. |
It's Shawn Michaels.
Save us is a reference to his new gimmick. The asshole Sunday Christian who lies, cheats, steals, and judges. |
I wonder when they will "unveil" the new wrestler. A ppv?

and FYI it's not Jericho, it's the return of Steve Blackman. |

WWE say 'stay tuned' over Y2J
September 26, 2007 COMMENT ON THIS STORY LAST week all the talk was about who was leaving the WWE - but now the only thing on fans' lips is who may be returning. And it's all because of a video that aired on this Monday's Raw. At first the clip just looked like a jumbled mix of numbers and letters. However on closer inspection it has led to a huge buzz that Chris Jericho may be returning to the squared circle. Those flames have now been fanned by a senior WWE insider, who told us to "stay tuned" when we asked about Y2J. You can watch the video by clicking the link below:

http://images.thesun.co.uk/picture/0...491098,000.jpg
The video has a similar look and feel to those used to promote Jericho in the past, and the key phrase to spot is the one that pops up a few times saying 'SAVE_US.222'. Some sleuths on the Internet, who we imagine to be like X Files' Lone Gunmen, have tied it directly to the former world heavyweight champion. Joshua 2:2, Verse 2 of the bible says - "It was told the king of Jericho, saying: 'Behold, men from the sons of Israel have come here tonight to search out the land.'" So SAVE_US.222 may actually mean 'SAVE US Y2J' - which neatly links to one of Jericho's original catchphrases, signs recently appearing on Raw and the fact that WWE is in dire need of a big name star to boost ratings and match-quality. Still don't believe it? Then check out these other things spotted in the video. Some are slightly more convincing than others: CD_VOLUME4_1 - The first track on the CD WWE The Music: Volume 4 is Jericho's theme tune. SMACK_BROUGHT1 - Jericho made his WWE debut by famously interrupting The Rock. The Rock's catchphrases included 'Just Bring It' and 'Layeth the Smacketh Down'. PROMO_99 and CHICAGO99_CAMM:A - That memorable debut and promo happened in 1999 in Chicago. WM_MATCH_TRI - Y2J fought Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit in a triple threat match at WrestleMania 2000. CHAMP_HARD - Chris was a former hardcore champion, but then again so were Pat Patterson, Shawn Stasiak and Terri. LIVEWIRE - The name of both a song by Chris's band Fozzy and a an old WWE telly show. While WWE desperately need some good news and a big star, the timing for Jericho is also perfect. The Ayatollah of Rock N' Rollah has a new book coming out and it's far easier to sell copies by appearing on Raw than those awful early morning American chat shows. Interestingly although Chris is going on a signing tour, he has keep every Monday night free - which is the same night Raw is taped on. His recent quotes on the problems of drugs and death in wrestling seem to point to a return too. Chris towed the WWE line fully in all his TV interviews. But Y2J also likes to tease. There have been two prominent rumours of him going to TNA - once when a picture on his own website showed him by a TNA logo and the other after the company premiered the latest Fozzy video. But Jericho's (Lion)heart has always really been with the WWE and we can't see either side making a promise they can't keep. As for when it will happen - the video flashes as 7_OCT, which is when the WWE's No Mercy PPV takes place. Make sure you put it in your diary. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2...440730,00.html |
WE GET IT! IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE JERICHO! SHUT UP BOONE!
|
Nah, I've figured it out. The second letter of the alphabet is B so in fact, it's actually SAVE_US.BBB. It's the return of Bam Bam Bigelow!

Man, this is almost like some Nostradamus-type shit, where people try to decipher random clues. I love how everyone is taking file names shown in the promo and deciphering them. I for one refuse to make any assumptions or conclusions. I just find it interesting that WWE is doing the "dropping-subtle-hints-for-avid-fans" deal. Even if it fails and stops now, it was still good work on WWE's part.

I don't believe Meltzer actually knows 100%, he's just taking the safe route.
|
I'm going to fucking LAUGH when this isn't Jericho at all and he isn't returning ANYWHERE.
And then they can report Jericho resigned with VH1's Best Week Ever and picked them over WWE and TNA. |
All I am waiting for is for the impending crashing of these very forums if or when Jericho does return to the WWE.
|
I can't wait for it to be Jericho and all you nay sayers will be like "uhh yeah but they are just gonna fuck it up anyways". Then you will all complain some more.
|
Don't get me wrong, I hope it is Jericho, and I don't necessarily think he will be a total waste. BUT, with all the 'news' reports and other bullshit flying around everywhere its hard not to be cynical at headlines like "Chris Jericho picks WWE over TNA"...as if it is definitively known he is back and under contract with WWE.
|
Dammit! It will all be an angle for bringing back Hogan, just watch and see.
|
Oh, I believe it's Jericho, but they'll fuck it up. Maybe not right away, but by this time next year he'll have jobbed to Cena multiple times and be back in the midcard feuding with Santino Marella: Italian Chef.

How about this: Jericho has a HUGE push. He goes on to destroy Cena at Cyber Sunday. He has a nice, long title reign. Then, WrestleMania comes along, and Hogan wants a pay check. Well, what better way than to commemorate the 20th anniversary of WrestleMania 4 where Hogan didn't main event than to have him beat Chris Jericho in the main event?
|
Then I would be at the top of the stadium with a high powered rifle, and everyone will see Hogans head explode on PPV.

Only problem is, Hogan would no-sell the bullet.

Okay www.wwe.com very bottom of the page is a save us 222 link. Link to link is http://www.wwe.com/content/media/vid...r22-28/5534236
|
Doesn't work for me, I assume it's just the promo?
|
That cinches it. It's fucking Jericho.
People are saying it could be for Cyber Sunday, but it's not. The reason is WWE doesn't plug one PPV before another PPV has aired, with the exception of Wrestlemania. |
If there is any justice, this is Jericho.
The IWC will cause mass chaos in a fit of joy. |
I wanna believe but I dont wanna be dissapointed.
Ill just have to wait and see. |
I still have to go with it being Kwee-Wee. I mean, come on... it can't be more obvious.

1 week away. omg.

Have you found the "Secret" link on WWE's site to the Save Us 222 video?
It's really hard to find. |

This is officially more retarded than "9-11 was an inside job." |
Lmao at how hard he is trying to prove to himself that it is Jericho.
|
ROFL @ loser who made that video
|
I will say that having ripped the audio and slowed it down, the beat of the music is exactly like Jericho's.
|
Post it
|
It's pretty obvious to be Jericho.
|
Ya think?
|
You know what I think would be cool, if he was on all 3 shows, and basically acted as a 1 man army renegade against everything and everyone. Oh and of course get all 3 titles. None of this will happen of course, but still, I would love to see it
|
if this IS jericho, i am watching again. when do we find out what this means?
|
Jericho returns and becomes Cena's sidekick. Now that's a way to piss off smarks.
|
|
Just went through the one on my Tivo frame-by-frame. They've changed "SAVE_US.222" to "8.2.11/SAVIOR_SELF" and included imposed hints relating to "Grand Slam" - of course, Jericho is a Grand Slam Champion. If they weren't putting real hints in before, they are now.
Looks like they're bringing him in as a heel. |
For what it's worth, this is the bible verse I came up with:
2 Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them. 3 The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst 4 they said to him, “Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. 5 Now in the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” 6 This they said to test him, that they might have some charge to bring against him. Jesus bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground. 7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. 9 But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. 10 Jesus stood up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”]] Nothing too incriminating. |
HBK is a grandslam champion
|
True.
|
8 2 11
H B K God dammit... |
Hahahahahaha
|
HBK is coming back with a religious, self righteous gimmick.
|
Ok, I just caught GRAND_SLAM.1
First Grand Slam Champion? HBK? |
I'd say that they're trying to throw us off, but I give up, they pretty much ruined what they HAD to have known would have had people talking about Jericho.
Classic WWE shit. They lead you to believe something and then give you something less-than-stellar. Got to stop hyping myself up to be let down. :y: |
I kept telling people that they are reading into things too much, but no one listens to me.
|
Oh come on, it was EXACTLY like Jericho's original debut. Anyone who didn't have it go through their mind at least once doesn't pay much attention to anything.

Granted I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is Jericho. |

Honestly. People analyze this shit so closely, of course they're gonna be disappointed if it isn't exactly what they want. If it is HBK, maybe he's coming back with a new darker gimmick, which could be a cool thing. Or maybe it is Jericho. Or maybe it's neither. Who knows. Just relax. |
I'm kind of hoping it's not Jericho, just to see the reactions.
Onthe other hand, I want it to be Jericho. I'm just not retarded enough tostart jumping up and down and squealing because I read way too much into the video. |

And if you want miniscule details...
8.2.11/SAVIOR_SELF 8 TO 11 SAVE YOURSELF |
Quote:
|
What that means, I have no idea. Points to a PPV though.
|
Probably subliminial PPV advertising lol
|
They're hyping up Hornswaggle's heavyweight championship run.
8.2.11 adds up to 21, his height in inches. Savior_Self is actually saying "Savior's Elf." It will be revealed his dad is really Santa. |
Quote:
Yes, they mentioned his poster name and 8 + 2 + 11 = 21 and he is either, has been, or will be 21 sometime in his life. |
Quote:
|
Hmmmmm, with the new theories, and this maybe looking way too far into it, but I got one as well. The only thing I can come up with is that Y2J debuted on 8/9/99. The video says 8.2.11. Without the 11, it could be 8.2.99, so it could be that Jericho debut's next week. Might be dumb, but the only thing I can see out of it.
|
I am definitely watching No Mercy. Live online feed somewhere.
|
Must admit i'm gonna buy the PPV, mainly because I want to see IF Jericho is coming back.
Has there been any other promo vids on Raw this week? |
Quote:
|
lol, it makes me laugh. Since HBK has returned in 2002, people have said that he is probably better than he ever was. And I agree. He is an outstanding worker. Sure I wish he would turn heel and give us some of the 97/98 Michaels magic, but he always delivers in the ring.
Yes, I would prefer Jericho, but you guys sound like you'd be disappointed with a Michaels return. Raw needs more star power right now, hell, any brand does. We all know that HBK isn't half the ass he used to be as far as putting people over is concerned, and definitely not as bad as Triple H when it comes to it. Like I said, I'd prefer a Y2J comeback, but at the end of the day, a HBK comeback wouldn't be the worst thing ever. |
We;d get Michaels anyway. That's the difference.
|
I've studied these videos for hours and i think i know who this video is hinting to.
Rodney Mack |
Maybe HBK and Jericho are coming back together... AS AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE!! (That will be stopped by John Cena)
|
The Michaels tease is a red herring...
