Those flames have now been fanned by a senior WWE insider, who told us to "stay tuned" when we asked about Y2J. There have been two prominent rumours of him going to TNA - once when a picture on his own website showed him by a TNA logo and the other after the company premiered the latest Fozzy video. But Jericho's (Lion)heart has always really been with the WWE and we can't see either side making a promise they can't keep. I for one refuse to make any assumptions or conclusions. I just find it interesting that WWE is doing the "dropping-subtle-hints-for-avid-fans" deal. Don't get me wrong, I hope it is Jericho, and I don't necessarily think he will be a total waste. BUT, with all the 'news' reports and other bullshit flying around everywhere its hard not to be cynical at headlines like "Chris Jericho picks WWE over TNA"...as if it is definitively known he is back and under contract with WWE.

Just went through the one on my Tivo frame-by-frame. They've changed "SAVE_US.222" to "8.2.11/SAVIOR_SELF" and included imposed hints relating to "Grand Slam" - of course, Jericho is a Grand Slam Champion. If they weren't putting real hints in before, they are now.

Without the 11, it could be 8.2.99, so it could be that Jericho debut's next week. Might be dumb, but the only thing I can see out of it.

Yes, I would prefer Jericho, but you guys sound like you'd be disappointed with a Michaels return. Raw needs more star power right now, hell, any brand does. We all know that HBK isn't half the ass he used to be as far as putting people over is concerned, and definitely not as bad as Triple H when it comes to it. Like I said, I'd prefer a Y2J comeback, but at the end of the day, a HBK comeback wouldn't be the worst thing ever. |
