Yeah but I mean, 5% health bonus isn't that amazing. Even at 30k HP (which is the average for entry level Naxx tanks atm), that's only an extra 1500.

1. That's less than a scorch for me. Or a Fire Blast.
2. Gift of the Naaru heals for more than that, so technically that heal more than compensates for the -1500 HP Draeneis have over Taurens. It honestly probably puts them on a fairly even playing field. I am just a fervent defender of the Alliance because they get totally unwarranted hate.

Yeah, but then, Gift of the Naaru is a poor man's Renew ;) In PvP, it's really useful, because you can generate health back at a decent enough rate. In raids though, it probably wouldn't be that useful, since even mine only ticks for about 840 each pulse, and that's with over 1700 spell power. When you're fighting raid bosses that hit for 5-6k, it won't save you. It might buy you time for a healer to throw off an actual heal, but it won't save you.

Well, sorry to say. If I want a tank I'll just go DK since I have it at 55 already. lol.

Just ran my first Heroic Instance, the Nexus. Not too hard but fun. Keristrasza is incredibly easy though and I wasn't able to get any decent drops from it, I was only able to upgrade my neck from a green to another higher level green.

Nexus is one of the easier Heroics, fo sho. Utgarde Keep, Drak'Tharon Keep and Violet Hold are probably the other really easy ones.

Gundrak is fairly easy if you don't get stuck on the first boss, who seems to generate a ludicrous amount of adds if you can't burn him down quick enough.

The Pit was fucked. Took us a few attempts when we were starting out Heroics but then, it was one of the really easy normals so we went in expecting much of the same. Gauntlets on Heroic are not fun. And the last boss has adds that does horrible Poison DoTs, which were a giant pain in the ass.

But overall, all LK instances > BC instances.

Also I hate the Oculus.

Do you know how fucking painful Ashenvale was - TWICE - with no mount? Plus, this was before they put in the Flight Path over the other side of the map from Astranaar, so they were loooooooong runtimes. Easily ten minutes across the zone.

You know, I see some of you saying how mounts at 30 was the thing they ever did. It makes me wonder how many of you played pre-patch 2.0/TBC when mounts cost 90g to get at 40, 900g at 60, and there was no daily quests, and every mob didn't drop vendor trash every time you killed one.

I've been 80 on my mage for like 3 weeks now and I've only raided the 25 man Wintergrasp Boss 3 times. Been kinda frustrated with the game.

Vault of Archavon, Obsidian Sanctum, Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity all down

When I hit 80 on my priest, I started levelling my hunter from level 58 and now he is 80 too.

Already got 3800 attack power on my hunter with 28% crit. 3 days of heroics.

Just need the guild to grow a bit to start nax.

My priest also has ridiculous mana regen. Like 330 mp5

Not yet. Icecrown Citadel is to be added in another patch. But yeah, when you compare it to BC - Gruul's, Magtheridon, TK, SSC, Hyjal, BT, SW... there was soooo much more to do. We've finished Vault, Naxx and OS, we're waiting on more of us to get enough HP to bother with EoE.

Um, there was only 5 raids to do when you hit 70 when TBC came out, Karazhan, Gruul's, Magtheridon, TK, SSC. Not much difference between then an now, except you have 2 versions of each raid. Hell, with classic WoW there was only 2 raids, MC and Ony for the longest time.

18k fully raid buffed shouldnt be hard to reach

i am the GM of my guild and i do all the raid leading and main tanking, if you guys need help with anything or want me to tweak strats for you just let me know

wrath is very easy so far, kinda dissapointing, but at the same time I'm glad my guild has finally "beat the game", we've never had all content cleared before. sunwell came out a week before we killed illidan

if you consider naxx has already been in the game, and archavon is barely a boss, really the only raid encounters added were Sartharion and Malygos.

That's 2 bosses. 18 if you want to add naxx and archavon.

TBC
Karazhan = 12 bosses (including each opera event, not including animal bosses)
Gruul = 2 bosses
SSC = 6 bosses
TK = 4 bosses
Magtheridon's Lair = 1 boss
World Bosses - 2 (doom lord kazzak and doomwalker)

So 26 bosses vs 18, or 2, bosses, depending how you look at it.

A lot more content in TBC. But only 1% of guilds could see TK cuz of it's ridiculous attunement.

Also 12 5 mans in Wrath compared to 16 in TBC.

Given that, Wrath is sitll the better expansion. They put a lot more effort into the zones, quests and what not. the leveling experience was much better organized, and the quality of all the new content is great, the stuff is a lot of fun, and the new class mechanics (especially tanking ones) makes everything great. WoW is actually fun and not a headache.... and the amount of content makes it easy to manage a 3, or even 2 day raid schedule which is good, cuz you can have a life and play the game now.

Anyone who thinks TBC was a headach didn't play or raid before it.

40 People for raids? 6 Month honor grind for the best pvp gear? Overpriced mounts when gold wasn't easy to make unless you had a BoE world epic drop? No Daily quests?

He has 4 mobs around him that respawn after you kill them so you need a tank to off tank them. Emalos makes one of them huge and hit hard so you have to have DPS come off the boss and kill it and then the tank has to regather its spawn. Emalos himself does chain lighting for like 10k, so you have to have good distance between players and he does this lightening nova that you have to run out of max range from. Its pretty difficult. We had a weird group makeup. No DK or Pally.

Me and prot warrior bud went into Ulduar just to screw around before it crashed. Ton of fun. We drove all the vehicles. Smashed dwarves and bigger elite dwarves and then got repeatedly smashed by this huge colossus. 2 of the vehicles you can share with someone. Like the motorcycle, he was driving and hopped in for the ride and we rode all the way to the back until this Mechanico Spider thing dominated us.

our guild got server first on flame leviathan, and would have got razorscale ifw e didnt spend all our time wiping on a bugged ignis until the server became unstable

Afterwards with relatively no difficulty we beat emalon, flame leviathon and razorscale on 10 man

I healing mod I use for my Paladin is X-Peral. It's seems to work great since the updated version was released. Tonight I'm going to try Uluar myself, hope the server doesn't crash when we're in it.

the key to the fight is DPSing the heart, without killing it. 100% more damage taken, and the amount taken is taken by the boss itself

We had 2 ranged dps take out ads on each side and everyone else just stay and dps the heart down to ~5% (you dont want to kill it because killing it activates the hard mode)

Beat Flame Leviathan last night, then kept wiping on the elemental trash in front of Ignis, then gave up on them and fought XT-002 to 75% before calling it a night. I guess I need more gear for this place.

Nice vid indeed, the top guild on my server defeated the Lich King last night too, then a Crystal appeared in Dalaran showing that there will always be a Lich King. As well as the NEW Lich King which is

An Alliance guild on my server downed Lich King a few days ago, so the fountain in the middle of Dalaran changed also.

The Lich King cinematic though, even when i seen it leaked filled me with slight disapointment. Don't get me wrong, Blizzard/WoW are fantastic at making in-game cinematics, but the storylines sometimes just plain suck.

The ending with Arthas was just like "what... thats IT? - I see only darkness.... *dead*" - Pretty crappy considering everything. The bit with Tirion though certainly was interesting, and even before LaVarman he was my pick to become the "new" Lich King. But heyho.

Speaking of the storyline, they seems to leave massive plotholes in the story, for instance with the Lich King. We players are lead to believe that Arthas and Ner'zhul fused into one singular being - But in-game its actually only Arthas 100%.

What it DOESN'T explain is where Ner'Zhul is - Apparently Arthas "killed" Ner'Zhul by "battling" him - But the players don't know this because it only happened in the comic-book/books. Massively disapointing that they're leaving these gaping holes in the main badguys expansion.
