Um, you buy this and get Gutar Hero: Van Halen for free by mail. Or did you miss that.

Yeah, think I'll just buy this outright and hold on to World Tour and Smash Hits until I'm certain all my favorite songs will be transferable. I'd even hold on to them for 1 or 2 songs if I have to.

Also I'm guessing you won't be able to play the GH Tunes you downloaded on this. For I have about 30 tunes that I really like to play once in a while.

Alright, so I got the guitar bundle. The dude said I can come back on Sunday and they'll price match it with the $30 gift card. I only played Du Hast and Kryptonite so far, and the presentation seems 100x better than World Tour. The guitar looks and feels way better than my RB2 guitar, but I haven't played with it yet. When my World Tour kit comes in a few days, I'll check out the differences.

I'm waiting to get paid then in about 30 min then I'm off to Wal-Mart. Hope they aint sold out.

The guitar is definitely an improvement from the WT one. This game has been pretty fun so far. I haven't really gotten to deep into it yet though.

Fucking took me about 10 tries to get through the intro to One Big Holiday on hard. Expert should be fun.

So far, most fun song I've played was Sultans of Swing. Awesome song.

Everyone I know wants to play "Play That Funky Music." So I've played it like eight times compared to once or twice tops for other songs.

That one is okay. So far the setlist hasn't been as fun as WT. But I'm only just shy of halfway through, so we'll see.

I'm still out to lunch o how much I like this song list. But there were a lot of tracks on GHWT where I was ambivalent towards or just plain hated.

By way of comparison, there's a lot less I out and out dislike on this set. It's hard to kind of rate the "mehs," but the ends of the spectrum favor GH5 so far.

Then again, I have a lot of shit left to unlock, so my opinion may swing once I've played some of the tracks I don't think I hate yet.

I plan to mess with it this time around, since it's supposed to be imrpoved and might be worth a fuck, but I haven't touched it yet.
