Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-11-2009 09:54 PM

Sammy G is an emotional pussy about sports but DaveWadding sucks at making fun of people so really it's a toss up

McLegend 11-11-2009 10:03 PM

Elton Brand makes 14 mill a year, and he can't even get on the floor in crunch time against the win less Nets.

That tells you a few things.

Kris P Lettus 11-11-2009 10:03 PM

Dave Wadding is going down..

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-11-2009 11:18 PM

Boston Celtics fucking unreal

Loose Cannon 11-11-2009 11:47 PM

alright, The Tristate area is a combined 1-16 so far this year

Loose Cannon 11-11-2009 11:51 PM

Jordan Hill 4.6 PPG

Stephan Curry: 9.2 PPG

I watched the first half of the Knicks/Hawks game earlier in NBALP and NY didn't look too bad. thought for sure they'd win.

You guys should have gotten rid of Peja instead of Chandler.

Kris P Lettus 11-12-2009 12:33 AM

Zero defense..

SammyG 11-12-2009 12:36 AM

It's a shame the Hornets are as bad as they are, I love CP3. Chandler and CP3 worked so fucking good together, why did they have to break that up?

Also, Phoenix is kinda scary this year, their offense is nuts. Wish we had Gasol tomorrow. Should still be a relatively easy W though

RP 11-12-2009 11:29 AM

Pacers won there 3rd straight tonight. Granger was fantastic. Accept for the part where after the game, he guaranteed a win over Boston. :|

SammyG 11-12-2009 02:05 PM

Byron Scott fired, sad, I love that guy.

Also, Pau could be out till X-mas. Andrew Bynum injury from 2 years ago, part 2.

Loose Cannon 11-12-2009 02:48 PM

I was looking at his coaching stats. Man, seems like the guy can't get a break. He was fired from NJ the season after he took them to the NBA Finals.

Now he's fired from the Hornets after being named the 2007-2008 coach of the year. They went to the playoffs last year, right?

McLegend 11-12-2009 03:01 PM

yeah, and they also lost to the Nuggets by 58 points in a playoff game.

Splaya 11-12-2009 07:49 PM

Yeah that was a sick game. The loss to the Nuggets was also on their home floor. Just one of the things you cannot do.

Pistons have been playing well as of late, and this is without Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince.

Almost a blessing in disguise. The Lakers should bring him on as an assistant and groom him to be the heir to Phil. Scott always said it has been his dream to coach the Lakers.

McLegend 11-12-2009 07:57 PM

Every time you express your fandom of the Lakers. I die inside.

Juan 11-12-2009 07:57 PM

That'd be nice, but I think Brian Shaw is being groomed for that spot.

Sorry, McL. Always have been a Lakers fan. Still love the Sixers, though. It's just really hard to get behind them nowadays.

McLegend 11-12-2009 08:00 PM

Killin me

Juan 11-12-2009 08:09 PM

What's going on with Elton Brand?

Triple Naitch 11-12-2009 08:14 PM

Got old fast. And Mareese Speights hasn't been awful.

McLegend 11-12-2009 08:15 PM

He's old, beat up, and isn't good.

Juan 11-12-2009 08:24 PM

I guess it's karma. The way he left LA was kind of shady.

Triple Naitch 11-12-2009 08:30 PM

I don't blame him for leaving. All the times Donald Sterling fucked over the fans, it's about time somebody fucked him over.

SammyG 11-12-2009 10:08 PM

Brian Shaw as our head coach sounds fucking terrible, Juan. I would love to have Byron succeed Phil. Seems right.

DaveWadding 11-12-2009 10:27 PM

I think SammyG is really Mychal Thompson. Or at least there are no bigger dick sucking Laker apologists in the whole world than those 2. For fuck's sake.

SammyG 11-12-2009 11:10 PM

k, you'd rather have Brian Shaw as a coach than Byron Scott. Yeah, you're real intelligent. Alright, game is finally back on TNT, PEACE

SammyG 11-13-2009 12:01 AM

lol suns

Loose Cannon 11-13-2009 12:01 AM

Lebron says he's changing his number next year because he thinks nobody should wear 23.

He says he'll probably change it to Six.

hmmm, what team rhymes with Six?

 Read into it

SammyG 11-13-2009 12:03 AM

Wasn't that his USA number too.

Loose Cannon 11-13-2009 12:09 AM

McLegend 11-13-2009 12:12 AM

That also was part of an entire image change.

SammyG 11-13-2009 12:36 AM

lol Wadding, you're pathetic.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-13-2009 12:40 AM

Surprised LeBron isn't changing his number to 27 for that baseball team that he has no connection to

SammyG 11-13-2009 12:48 AM

Gonna be weird seeing LeBron is a number 6 Knicks jersey next year

DaveWadding 11-13-2009 12:56 AM

End of the 3rd. It's over. Really the Suns have no one to blame but themselves. They shot atrociously tonight. 37% is ATROCIOUS. The Lakers D really disrupted their flow and really a lot of the calls have not gone the Suns way. Period. That's not an excuse to shoot 37%. The Lakers have played tough tough defense all night, easily the best D they've seen all year.

I'm not really discouraged. These back to backs kill the Suns. They played this bad against Orlando as well. I don't want to say the Lakers got lucky catching them on the back to back (even though that's part of the trouble), but they played tough D and beat them from pillar post in the 1st half. Much respect to the Lakers D.

I just want to note that next game they catch the Suns on the back end of back to back too.

Floor's all yours, Samuel. Let me start it for you.

If you didn't see last night's Miami/Cleveland game, you have got to see the sick dunk D-Wayde lays down. LeBron himself said it was probably one of the top 10 dunks of all-time in NBA history.

RP 11-13-2009 02:07 PM

Lebron is a joke. That guy needs to just stfu and play basketball. He thinks he's bigger than the game. You can tell with all the shit he says and how he says it. And changing his number to appreciate Jordan. I wish someone would actually grow a set of balls and say what they reall want to say which is " Actually Lebron, thats the dumbest fucking idea you've ever had ".

SammyG 11-13-2009 04:39 PM

Thank you RP.

Juan 11-14-2009 06:51 AM

LA's 23 2nd half points was an all-time franchise low

Juan 11-14-2009 07:04 AM

btw Dahntay Jones

Holy shit, Brandon Jennings scored 55 points last night.

Champion of Europa 11-15-2009 01:39 PM

I've been winning tickets to Pacers games like mad. I went to the win vs. Washington and then I won late tickets to last night's game and got there at the end of the 3rd and watched them bring it down on Boston. Crowd exploded with Hibbert's wide open dunk in the 4th. Awesome.

Also, I signed Jennings last week to my fantasy team, so I'm especially psyched about last night.

Juan 11-15-2009 09:47 PM

I know I've mentioned this before, but i HATE, H-A-T-E Luis Scola

Juan 11-16-2009 12:05 AM

SammyG 11-16-2009 12:05 AM

k, I'm concerned about the Lakers. Kobe played absolutely awful tonight, and went back to the locker room with like 2 minutes left. He injured his groin even more, apparently. There is no way he could play this bad and not be injured. Fisher was horrible too. Pau still out. Yep.... not a good start to the season.

Luke Walton out 6 weeks. Are you FUCKING Kidding me..

McLegend 11-16-2009 11:54 PM

Apparently Knicks have interest in Iverson.

Last week game 1 of the NBA finals was on NBA TV. That was awesome.

Schlomey 11-17-2009 09:40 AM

I miss NBA TV. Lost it when I dropped Direct TV. RIP.

Also, Iverson wasn't a good fit for the Grizzlies. If they want a veteran player on their roster AI is not the guy I'd choose.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 11-17-2009 09:59 AM

AI fits with the Knicks. He will have his opportunity to play a lot and get a lot of stats, plus they won't have to worry about him bringing down the team since they already lose a lot anyway.

Schlomey 11-17-2009 10:11 AM

I agree totally. The Knicks need to pick up the pace in the win column if they stand a chance of woo'ing talent for next year. I know this is another throw away year for the Knicks in preparing for the big free agent binge next year...But if you have 0 talent, the likes of Bosh won't leave a mid-road team like the Raptors just to move to a low-level team.

The idea of throwing all their eggs in the "next year is our year" basket is risky at best.

Best bet is to add a few veterans *like AI & Harrington* to the starting rotation, get a few wins & leave the 1 year contracts open to negotiation next season.

Loose Cannon 11-17-2009 10:13 AM

Yes, good move. We'll have some name value and plus he's been my fav player in the league forever.

Like Stima said, Knicks will suck with and without him, but at least it's still fun watching him play

Buzzkill 11-17-2009 11:49 AM

DAMN John Wall.

Skippord 11-17-2009 01:12 PM

weirdly entertaining

Schlomey 11-17-2009 01:29 PM

did you mean wildly?

Skippord 11-17-2009 05:22 PM

no I meant weirdly

because basketball is usually boring to me

McLegend 11-17-2009 06:50 PM

You know what The Sixers should get Iverson. They aren't going anywhere with or without him. It would get people more interested, and there really isn't a downside.

It won't happen though.

Juan 11-17-2009 09:17 PM

I don't know who I feel more sorry for, AI or McGrady

RP 11-17-2009 10:02 PM

5 straight wins for the Pacers

Schlomey 11-17-2009 10:06 PM

Is Granger still day to day? I haven't checked my fantasy team in a week!

SammyG 11-18-2009 01:09 AM

Kobe becomes the third player all time with 100 plus 40 point games babyyyy

Juan 11-18-2009 01:18 AM

So glad Pau is coming back on Thursday. Maybe the bench will gain a little stability with Lamar back on the 2nd unit.

SammyG 11-18-2009 01:30 AM

Is it absolutely confirmed that he's back on Thursday?

Juan 11-18-2009 01:33 AM

He said if after practice tomorrow, he still feels ready to go, then yes. (they interviewed him right before the 4th quarter)

Nope, Granger is back in business.

So psyched for Pacers fifth win in a row last night. I'm going to the Knicks game tonight to watch them go for six in a row. Gonna be immense. Roy Hibbert is going to dunk on somebody's face and make their kids cry.

Schlomey 11-18-2009 01:46 PM

awesome. I got hyped up on Pacers/Granger after his stellar season last year. He gives that franchise hope.

Champion of Europa 11-18-2009 01:54 PM

Dahntay Jones and Roy Hibbert have added a surprising bit of morale, too. Jones has not only been taking it down defensively, but he's also been a shocking offensive presence. The last two games he's had 20+ points. Hibbert has been getting about a block a game and usually a double double.

Schlomey 11-18-2009 02:06 PM

I really miss NBA TV :(
