This is pretty messed up. I was a fan of Burchill, but WWE obviously didnt know how to use him. Helm's injuries and arrest probably led to his demise. But Maria too?? That doesnt make any sense at all. They have been promoting her on Celebrity Apprentice, she was just diva of the year, and she has been used actively lately. So I am definitely disappointed in this one.

Jeritron 02-26-2010 05:47 PM

I can't believe girls put cocks in their mouth and suck them

Jeritron 02-26-2010 05:48 PM

I love how every guy that ever laces up a pair of boots in WWE that doesn't make the main event is misused.
Maybe he didn't know how to use WWE?

teamXtremist 02-26-2010 05:49 PM

fck im going to miss maria thought she had what it took to eventually be a champion

helms is better off in tna with moore and jeff now to get matt over there

as for burchill in ring he was awesome but never got a fair shake imo

kareru 02-26-2010 05:56 PM

Maria Kanellis had just turned 28 yesterday

lol happy birthday

Well, "Pirate" Paul was scrapped because Vince hadn't heard of Pirates of the Caribbean, so he assumed that NO ONE had heard of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I just realized Paul Burchill and The Hurricane feuded with each other not too long ago. Now they get released on the same day. WWE better not mess with Goldust. I want Goldust on RAW. Hopefully, they see how hard he’s worked and keep him around.

Also, I’ve always wanted to see the team of Shark Boy and The Hurricane. Super Helms to TNA!

#1-norm-fan 02-26-2010 06:42 PM

Maria!?! That's insane. They've kept her along all this time and now they release her just before she's on Celebrity Apprentice? Wouldn't WWE want to take advantage of the publicity from that? What odd timing. It would however be funny if TNA signed her and took all the pub for it.

Goldust was feuding with Sheamus not too long ago. :shifty:

Could he become WWE Champion? It could be done, but would have to be done right. All sorts of fans can get with Goldust just because he's who he is. He looks better in the ring than he has in a while and can be entertaining, so why not? There's a lot you can do with the character before they "got nothing for him."

Fignuts 02-26-2010 07:19 PM

Couldn't care less about maria, tbh.

Dorkchop 02-26-2010 07:21 PM

is Torrie Wilson the only Diva in WWE to leave on her own terms after posing nude in Playboy?

Dorkchop 02-26-2010 07:23 PM

Will Helms be a super hero in TNA? Will he have a terrible knock of of his last theme in WWE? Will he have the exact same gimmick and somehow manage to put over WWE in promos?

Find out in 90 days or in one more sentence. Yes he will.

Xero 02-26-2010 07:32 PM

STAY IN THE BACK! THERE'S A TSUNAMI COMING THROUGH!

From PWInsider:

World Wrestling Entertainment also released referee Scott Armstrong today. Armstrong was hired shortly after the company launched the ECW brand in 2006. Armstrong, son of Southern legend Bob Armstrong, also refereed for WCW following a long in-ring career. A number of WWE workers were really bummed hearing he was let go as he was well liked by the wrestlers.

---
Can't say that I care, hate his refereeing.

She's pretty, but she's a dime a dame in the WWE.

I couldn't care less about Paul either. Meh.

I guess Bullet Bob won't be going into the HoF this year after all.

KIRA 02-26-2010 08:28 PM

C'mon Hornswoggle........

Emperor Smeat 02-26-2010 08:32 PM

Of the 3 wrestlers, I liked Hurricane the most. His feud with the Rock dealing about which superhero was better was my favorite promo involving him.

lol what? How do you hate someones refereeing?

Xero 02-26-2010 08:57 PM

Maybe hate's a strong word, but I don't like the way he counts, which is like 80% of noticeable refereeing.

jerichoholicninja 02-26-2010 09:12 PM

His count was weird and long. However, he seemed to be the number 2 or 3 ref as he usually did the main events if Mike Chioda or Little Naitch didn't.

lol are you serious?

Xero 02-26-2010 09:18 PM

Yes.

Juan 02-26-2010 09:20 PM

I dunno, seems like kind of a dumb thing to notice or even get upset at.

Just my 2 cents

Xero 02-26-2010 09:21 PM

Who said I was upset? I don't like his counting, that's all.

And I notice stupid things like that, I'm kind of ADD with background stuff.

Juan 02-26-2010 09:29 PM

So what is it about his counting that you don't like?

Xero 02-26-2010 09:30 PM

Too slow and the way he actually hit the mat.

Metal Gear Yoshi 02-26-2010 09:34 PM

To be fair I've heard people talk about this in other forums, Armstrong's counting that is.

screech 02-26-2010 09:35 PM

Only ref gripe I really have is on Hebner, and how he kicks his legs out on a two count. Ruins suspense for me.

Favre4Ever 02-26-2010 09:50 PM

Maria is really hot and will be sorely missed. However, I'm glad I won't have to see her in a match again.

As for Helms, here's another example of a guy with all the talent in the world, but he just wasn't going to go over in the WWE. He might make MONEY in the WWE, and he might have had a degree of job security for quite some time, but he was never going to be used to his full potential. I hope some big things happen for him in the independent circuit, or even TNA.

Probably next year, since WM will be in Atlanta.

Triple Naitch 02-26-2010 11:40 PM

Armstrong's count bothers me as well.

When Teddy Long was a ref he constantly pissed me off the same way, clearly wasn't a good ref but always got to be involved in good matches, which annoyed me.

Juan 02-27-2010 12:14 AM

Well then, I guess I'm the crazy one here for not knowing/caring about the refs.

Xero 02-27-2010 12:15 AM

lol I remember a year or so ago a guy came in who would literally jump like a foot for each count. He didn't last long.

Londoner 02-27-2010 12:15 AM

Yes, you're crazy, we know this!

Juan becomes two, for I also do not know/care about the refs. Pretty much background noise to me.

Mr. Nerfect 02-27-2010 01:24 AM

Maria surprised the hell out of me, but The Hurricane and Paul Burchill were sort of expected. If Burchill does some crazy awesome work in Japan, I could see him back in the WWE one day. Helms is best going to TNA.
