Although i'm on Disk 2 and seriously loving the game.
I'm missing the fact that there's nothing for me to do other than story.

8.5gb should be enough for any game bar interactive movies like FF13 or dialogue heavy games like ME2.

We're talking high-definition graphics and audio now. The files for extremely high quality graphics and audio are HUGE.

Sorry, but your Wii doesn't have that so they'll never have a game that needs to be more than one disc.

PS3 doesn't need more than one due to blu-ray storage size.

The 360 will never be able to drop multi-discs if it is that large of a game, because their discs just aren't capable of it.

FF games on PS and PS2 had multiple discs. No one complained. ME2 came on multiple discs. People here fapped over the game.

There are plenty of reasons to shit on all 3 consoles and every consumer electronics product ever.

The 360 needs multiple discs to hold its higher quality media, while the Wii only uses single discs because the games on it don't have high enough quality of content to demand the use of multiple discs, because the system itself can't handle it.

I await an explanation on how that makes the 360 shit. I certainly won't hold my breath over it though.

And taking one's lazy ass and swapping discs (which installing renders moot anyway) shouldn't be one of them. One of the weaker sauce arguments I've heard over the game.

It's hardly being used against the game, people are trying to use it as shots against the 360.

I'd personally take the multiple discs over a slow blu-ray drive and mandatory installs, but that's personal choice. Doesn't make the PS3 a terrible console in my eyes.

Why doesn't 360 use HD DVD for it's games? I thought that they did. They have more storage than dual layer DVD's... Just because bluray 'won' doesn't mean they can't use HDDVD for games.

Yeah, 360 had an external player for HD DVD, as opposed to PS3's built in blu-ray player.

Damn, for some reason I figured they would use HD DVD as the default media format. Weird that they'd stick to DVD's.

It had something to do with being built to hit a price point and coming out all the way back in 2006.

What the fuck are you talking about, why do you keep bring up Wii, I have not mentioned it at all. "imo" though some Wii games have better graphics than the HD games on PS3 and 360, including Final Fantasy 13. Super Mario Galaxy is probably the best looking game I have ever seen. Like somebody said, the 360 was rushed and built to hit a price range, which ended up making it a lot weaker than it could have been.

A very "scathing" review of FF13, which I know a lot of you here will jive with..

While FF13 may turn people off with it's near 180 design choices, me and my bro are checking out Resonance of Fate. A badass, classical JRPG with gunplay instead of swords. To quell early doubts, the game opens with town/world exploration. The battle system is a snazzy take on turn-based combat.

And in this world everybody solves their problems with guns.

I died in my first battle. I thought I had the battle system down with the time I put into the very generous training offered 5 minutes into the game, but I thought wrong.

I beat Final Fantasy III. I can take anything this game throws at me.

AssFag is incapable of that.

Anyways, rented this on PS3. I love the 1 disc blu ray shit, but still love my 360, too.
