12 mins is too short even for a webisode. What's with the slow motion, over dramatic camera style at the end with Sonya? We just watched her get herself loose, untie her legs and walk through the door all in slow motion. I think they should have shown that first then leave us with the jax/kano explosion.

Baraka. First thing from this series I don't like. Looks too World of Warcraft.

Would have been better to keep the original Baraka that killed Johnny Cage in the initial trailer.

He also looks more related to Reptile than Baraka in the initial promo trailer.

Another great episode. I had to laugh at Jax's "Seagal face" around 2:38 during the Kano fight though. It sucks the epsiodes aren't longer, but at least we get something.

Great episode, loved how they are incorporating Kano's eye and Jaxx's arm.

its not too ridiculous. Believe it or not i saw it happen in real life. At my gym two guys were boxing and one of them threw a wild punch and connected on the orbital bone of the other guy and broke it in a couple places and ended up rupturing his eyeball and he ended up losing it :-\ and thats with boxing gloves on

This series is not about realism. We got robotic eyes and the robotic arms tease by episode 2. Make no mistake this is Mortal Kombat. It's just relatively realistic by usual MK standards!

This wouldn't work as a movie, it would bomb. Keep it web series and hope for a premium cable channel upgrade (12-13eps to start).

I wanna advice everyone to watch the web-series on the official stream sites to increase success. Don't fuck this up like Heroes and Terminator: SCC.

I think the actor who played Booster Gold in Smallville would be a good Johnny Cage if they do make a new MK film.

Seems a bit odd to go back to the "fantasy" stuff of MK when the previous episodes were more gritty and realistic but I did like the animated parts of the episode.

I didn't mind that at all, I am loving this series more and more with each installment.

what was so "fantasy" about it... considering the content they were covering, they stayed fairly in the realm of reality minus the goblins with blades

...And the interdimensional invasions, soul mergings, half-creature clone girls...

It's all good, just saying it is a departure from the first arc. But it's MK so it's all good. The Edenia/Outworld backstory really can't be grounded in reality.
