Boise's defense is incredibly underrated, I'm not saying they would stop Ingram and Richardson. I'm just saying they could.

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 10:34 PM

I don't think anyone could..

Ingram is like Emmitt Smith on HGH..

Skippord 10-03-2010 10:35 PM

I was actually saying this morning that that guy is basically unstoppable

fucking monster

Kris P Lettus 10-03-2010 10:39 PM

Yeah, I dont care who'll get the first over all pick, but if they dont pick him, their GM should be fired..

Oregon takes #3 while Boise State drops to #4 in the polls although #2 Ohio State didn't move at all even though they struggled vs Illinois.

Theoretically, Boise State could drop even more since below them is LSU, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Nebraska for undefeated teams. Then a few 1-loss BCS teams and undefeated Michigan.

Most of those teams will lose 1. Auburn however, is very sneaky good. OU or Nebraska will lose. Michigan's defense is horrible. They will lose. I wouldnt be suprised if they lose a couple.

It does suck for Boise State but honestly, there schedule doesnt even come close to some of these other teams listed. And Oregon deserved to jump them btw.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-05-2010 12:34 AM

Mountain West looks good again this year so TCU or Utah will probably jump them as well.

Boomer 10-08-2010 11:39 AM

AJ Green basically solidified his top 3 NFL Draft status with one half's worth of stats last week. He will dominate in the NFL.

Gonna enjoy the last few games of his college career while I can. UGA is going to lose, so I might as well enjoy something.

Droford 10-09-2010 05:41 PM

Denard Robinson = FRAUD

also a pretty interesting game between Alabama and SC

ClockShot 10-09-2010 06:31 PM

Watching a bit of the 'Bama/South Carolina game.

Gamecocks' runningback is a workhorse.

#1 in the polls, #1 in your hearts. THE Ohio State University.

Of course now the pressure starts. But who knew at the beginning of the year how lucky they'd be to skip Michigan St. this season?

Also Les Miles, Jesus Christ. Dunno who he sold his soul to but it's working.

The rest of the Big Ten season should be very interesting. Been forever since I've been this excited about a Michigan State team that's poised to take home the Big Ten crown.

RP 10-13-2010 08:35 AM

All i know is Purdue manned up big time last week beating Northwestern. Nobody in the country has injury problems like Purdue. 1st and 2nd string QB, gone. Starting RB, gone. Both starting WR's, gone. They completely changed there offense on the fly before the Northwestern game so that it was made for a running QB.

Danny Hope is amazing coach. I'm praying he beats Minnesota. Then it will be on like Donky Kong against OSU.

James Steele 10-13-2010 02:30 PM

Ok...

DAMN iNATOR 10-14-2010 04:22 PM

MSU without Chris L. Rucker (due to an OWI and violating terms of his probation, :nono:) on D could potentially spell trouble against Illinois this week.

Droford 10-16-2010 09:37 PM

Boise State for #1! WHOO

Supreme Olajuwon 10-16-2010 11:57 PM

Had that feeling about today. Everyone was talking OSU up and not giving Wisconsin any credit. But Wisconsin handled their business.

Emperor Smeat 10-17-2010 08:58 PM

BCS released 1st official poll.

Oklahoma is #1, Oregon #2, Boise State #3, Auburn #4, and TCU #5.

Initially it was expected Boise State would be #1 based on a the computers saying their strength and schedule was strong compared to their opponents and conference but lost a lot of support in the coaches and Harris polls. It also didn't help their quality wins and Nevada kept loosing to hurt strength.

Droford 10-17-2010 09:01 PM

Boise State basically needs everyone else to lose about 2 games.

RP 10-17-2010 09:30 PM

Gotta love ESPN hyping a fake story to make news. All week long talking about Boise St. will be #1 in the BCS poll.

What a joke news channel they are honestly.

Boomer Sooner

RP 10-21-2010 08:41 AM

The Gods have to shine on Purdue this week. I mean, Robbie Hummell tearing his knee again. Come on. Purdue needs this win over OSU. The Gods have to give this school a break.

D Mac 10-23-2010 02:32 PM

Go Missouri! You can beat Oklahoma tonight!

National Champs MISSOURI TIGERS

Skippord 10-24-2010 12:14 AM

poor guys, no matter how many games they win they still have to live in Missouri

D Mac 10-24-2010 04:09 AM

Where's Colorado? Oh that's right they aren't ranked.

Vastardikai 10-24-2010 04:28 AM

What does Boise St. have to do to be considered a #1 team?

Move to a 'stronger' conference?

Because clearly, beating everyone isn't enough.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-24-2010 04:43 AM

Feel like Missouri should be penalized for having pants that don't match the rest of their uniform. Yellow and gold are not the same color.

DAMN iNATOR 10-24-2010 04:05 PM

WOW. What an amazing comeback for MSU to go 8-0 yesterday. If they can get by an extremely tough, and sure-to-be-pissed off Iowa Hawkeyes squad, it could be a 12-0 season easily. But, as Coach D says, gotta stay focused. One week at a time.

Emperor Smeat 10-24-2010 05:35 PM

BCS Top 5 rankings:

1) Oregon
2) Boise State
3) Auburn
4) TCU
5) Michigan State

After #4, the rest of the Top 10 is about 200 points behind TCU. Oregon has a strong enough of a lead in points to ensure at least a spot in the title game as long as they don't lose.

D Mac 10-24-2010 06:48 PM

Mizzou isn't even in the top 5 after beating #1? Gay

They are ranked #7 and behind #6 Alabama by a good amount.

D Mac 10-24-2010 06:57 PM

Well if we beat Nebraska next week, that should elevate them some.

Emperor Smeat 10-24-2010 08:42 PM

Posted the wrong poll numbers earlier since ESPN leaked the AP Poll and not BCS Poll. Hate when they do that since normally they just post BCS poll and then later the less important AP Poll.

1) Auburn (.931)
2) Orgeon (.906)
3) Boise State (.884)
4) TCU (.883)
5) Michigan State (.838)
6) Missouri
7) Alabama
8) Utah
9) Oklahoma
10) Wisconsin

Apparently the BCS and other polls over-valued the undefeated battle of Auburn vs LSU and the power of SEC to make Auburn jump to #1.

The way Boise State is being ranked means its almost impossible for them to be in the title game unless Auburn, Oregon, Michigan State, and maybe Missouri with Alabama lose.

RP 10-24-2010 11:10 PM

Lets face reality. Boise State wont ever play in a title game. They could win all there games by 80 points and beat 2 ranked teams a year, the NCAA wont let it happen. It's not good money.

It's sad, but that's what college football is today. Auburn is good money. Oregon, OSU, OU. All good money. Boise State is not. And they wont let any numbers show Boise State as #1 or #2. They'll give them #3 and a BCS game against TCU as a pat on the back.

It's just the way it is.
