it.

XL 09-08-2010 02:15 PM

Ooooo. Someone else voted before it closed. Any ideas who?

Lock Jaw 09-08-2010 02:18 PM

Flash Funk

XL 09-08-2010 02:24 PM

Nah. He was the 4th to vote.

Lock Jaw 09-08-2010 02:24 PM

Fallen

Lock Jaw 09-09-2010 03:30 PM

when are the PPVs due?

XL 09-10-2010 12:34 AM

Have all the judges' votes been sent in?

Lock Jaw 09-10-2010 12:43 AM

No, but I don't think they are going to be.

XL 09-10-2010 06:24 AM

:nono:

Out of interest, can we have a show of hands as to who even wants to be involved with a Season 2?

Me for one.

Swiss Ultimate 09-10-2010 06:31 AM

I'll judge if there is one.

XL 09-10-2010 06:34 AM

4 of us including AbT. Any advance on 4?

Swiss Ultimate 09-10-2010 09:51 AM

I had fun writing all of this stuff. I definitely don't want to continue into the next season.

BizarroKing 09-10-2010 10:55 AM

As long as there are 5 people willing to participate we SHOULD be ok...I think. It might just be a slow period with school restarting and summer's end.

XL 09-10-2010 11:08 AM

Yeah, maybe. Can't help but think the downtime kills the momentum of the game. With c-fedding there is no downtime as the time between shows is for participants to promo, with this there's little to do in the week(s) between shows other than wait for reviews - which it seems some judges haven't bothered to do.

Of course, it could just be the school starting thing.

Either way it's quite underwhelming that interest had nose dived like it has. I wouldn't have wanted to continue booking my show even if I manage to pull a win out of the bag but I might have liked to participate in a 'Champion's Series'. Either way I was looking forward to judging in Season 2. :-\

Swiss Ultimate 09-10-2010 05:59 PM

Let's ban everyone who stopped reading our shows.

Paul Heyman 09-11-2010 05:44 PM

I really wanted to be a booker, and was first standby, but I got by-passed :(

Lock Jaw 09-11-2010 06:34 PM

You need to be more "out there" in the TPWW Universe.

Also, I really want the PPVs already. Even if there is no "score" from week four calculated just yet.

BizarroKing 09-11-2010 07:07 PM

I hope we're still planning on doing a Armchair Warfare season 2 regardless...

I haven't gotten them all yet.

Lock Jaw 09-12-2010 12:33 AM

Oh. Thought it was the missing judges holding things up.

Alrighty then.

XL 09-12-2010 03:31 AM

Dayam! I was late with mine but I would have held off if I'd realised I wasn't the last to send in. stayed up til 5am to get in done only 24 hours after deadline.

Anybody Thrilla 09-12-2010 10:31 AM

I have no idea why you did that. I've never been a deadline nazi.

Evil Vito 09-12-2010 10:33 AM

Not to be a dick here but if a Season 2 goes on, I think the deadlines have to be more strictly enforced. It's been nearly 3 weeks since a show has been posted. I think more than anything else that's the reason people are losing interest.

Anybody Thrilla 09-12-2010 10:37 AM

Extra time was given to this poll because it was the PPV round. It's only been a week. People probably "lost interest" as you guys put it because they didn't feel like reading all of that stuff before they were allowed to vote. I really don't think anybody would just not read the next set of shows because it took too long for them to be posted.

What do you even suggest I do? Just put up all of the shows minus the ones I don't have? How do you suggest I even "punish" people?

It's supposed to be fun. Let's just settle down.

I agree, let's just relax and have fun. Hopefully things will go smoother in season 2

XL 09-12-2010 01:40 PM

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Whilst it is a game, there are rules. Part of playing any game is to follow the rules.

The way I see it I have a show to book, that show has a deadline, part of the game is to meet said deadline.

Where would WWE be if they didn't bother to send MyNetwork this Friday's SmackDown? Dumped? Fined? I don't know cos I don't now how that kinda thing works.

IMO, if you miss the deadline there has to be some kind of punishment, otherwise there's no point having deadlines. Hence, why I stayed awake til 5am to get my show in ASAP (24hrs after deadline).

People (DttS) might say I've taken all this too seriously, what can I say, I'm a stickler for "playing by the rules".

And I do think the downtime has effected interest. There was a massive dip when Show 3 took an extra week to get posted.

XL 09-12-2010 01:41 PM

With all that said, I would like to be involved in a Season 2 should there be one. Whether as a judge or "running it". Or both(?).

Anybody Thrilla 09-13-2010 08:17 AM

I did take off points for the company that was late last time. I can do the same this time, but that's still not going to get me the missing show.

Yeah. I doubt anybody playing would say "there are deadlines? how fucking dare you make deadlines in a fun game!" Even with shit going on in your life it shouldn't take that long to make a show, work on it a little bit for a couple nights and bam - it's done.

A game like this thrives on interest and participation. The interest has been so low the last two weeks that I'm not sure it was even worth the effort to write the shows.

Swiss Ultimate 09-13-2010 09:34 AM

From my experiences as a teenager in actual e-wrestling...if the show is this late it might not ever come out at all.

XL 09-13-2010 11:34 AM

It's annoying from the perspective that I wanna read and enjoy the shows and see what I'm up against in a competitive way but it's more annoying from a "I got my show in on time, why can't you"/part of the rules stand point.

More annoying still is that people have signed up as judges and apparantly now can't make time to read the shows/judge them/send their rankings in.

:-\

Anybody Thrilla 09-13-2010 02:53 PM

It's a cruel world, fellas. At least we have each other.

jerichoholicninja 09-13-2010 10:44 PM

Just post the VCW PPV. I really won't lose any sleep over the other ones, but I may in fact really lose sleep over not knowing what happened with VCW.

Lock Jaw 09-13-2010 11:46 PM

BUT! Perhaps VCW is the one that is late. Think about it. (or don't)

thedamndest 09-14-2010 01:32 PM

I'm just going to rate these on how I think they will turn out and be done with it.

XL 09-14-2010 05:02 PM

Might be the best plan :y:

XL 09-14-2010 06:57 PM

I keep 2nd guessing myself now on how I've booked my show. If it's gonna be much longer I might have to take a second look.

XL 09-15-2010 01:01 PM

OK. Given that at midnight tonight we're gonna be a week past deadline, can we just go ahead without the last show and minus the missing judge rankings?
