Because he started playing two days ago probably.
|
No, I had it equipped to heal myself as we previously did not have a medic to do so.
A new player joined the lobby and choose one midway through the match. I decided while good, it just isn't worth the risk of not getting healed. |

It heals when you hit an enemy with it and blocks you from being healed other ways.
|
Still no

When you pull it out, the more damage you've taken, the faster you move and the more damage you deal (Up to 40% more, I believe). The downside is you cannot be healed. |
What the fuck am I thinking of then ???

30 more actually, 25->50
Though airblast is situation only. also not that I'm looking but there is nothing in this game to complain about at all. |
Oh shit, never realized that air blasting with the vanilla only cost 20.
Anyways, the only complaint I have in the game are Demo Knights. That was just a terrible terrible decision. |
Demoknights?
|
Demomen that just run around using a sword/shield.
They contribute literally nothing to their team. |
TPT for Demoman - 3:01
|
Mind you, I'm not saying all demo men are bad. Just the ones running around with their sword out.
My time played for Demo man is probably like 15 or so hours, but that was a long time ago. |
Soldiers I find easy to play but love Heavys if you have a smart medic.
|
I love playing defensive Heavy with the Brass Beast. Probably my favorite thing in the game.
|
Natasha + Medic + Pyro watching our flank = profittz
|
I've never really used Natasha. Pretty fun?
|
Very!!! Slows the enemy at the expense of damage and spinup speed.
Hence as a heavy, you just raped them or caused them to be assfucked. |
Hmm, I'll try it out then. I've got a vintage one sitting in my backpack from god knows how long ago.
|
I recommend using the sandvich as well.
|
Yeah, I would imagine that would be a good combination.
Generally I just go Brass Beast/Shot Gun/(I can't remember what they're called but the Iron Fists) |
Usually I drop the sandvich behind me so i can backup and get it or my medic can grab if needed.
Natasha is wonderful if someone is in a corner :) |
With the Sandvich, if you drop it, does it automatically heal you, or does it make you go into the eating animation?
|
Haven't checked, normally teammates use it.

Also, don't know if I got ripped off because I have never traded for anything. But I got the numbered paint out of a crate, and I traded it for a strange revolver, and a vintage kritzkrieg. MIGHT have gotten ripped off but the guy said the price was kind of 'high' but he accepted anyways. Feel like he was playing me, but whatever. I got a strange spy weap and a vintage out of it, and I'll use both. |
Also, Narc is a pretty fantastic Heavy from what I've seen. :y: He protects his medic, AS A HEAVY SHOULD.
|
|
RoXer get back on Steam. It is working again.
|
Heavys are so badass :)

lol. Thanks. I should be though. It's all I really play. RoXer and I have been going on a fucking rampage. |
I usually spin around and check behind us to make sure some spy isn't about to knife me or my little German buddy in the back. Simple logic and strategy goes a long way playing this game.
Not sure if there is anything more beautiful then two heavys with medic attachments and a Otto spy checking their flank and a sniper picking off the other sniper. Epic win, won payload in like 1:22 |
OOh and an engineer with dispensers right next to us all the time.
|
With myself a soldier, req a spy, roxer a medic and narc a heavy we could make a decent team id say.
|
Heavy is a much different class than many people think it is. The best way to get tons of kills as a heavy and stay alive to live to tell about it is to play it like it's a Spy. Sneak up on people, jump while spinning up around corners, get your kills, and then get the fuck out of there or behind a corner or building again. A lot of people who play Heavy feel like they are invincible (especially if they have a medic) and that's ridiculous because they just end up spy food or sniper food. You want to play it so people walk around a corner or jump down from a platform and "OH FUCK IT'S A HEAVY!!" And 9 times out of 10 you'll murder them before they even know what's happening. Also, too many Heavies get their medic killed by acting stupid. It shouldn't be a constant onslaught, it should be times of extreme warfare and then times to backoff and recover a bit while you toss the medic a sandvich.
Yeah, and spy checking is crucial or everybody dies. |
I find playing the angles is best, don't get too far ahead and stand near corners so your team doesn't get psuhed back. People tend to be scared of heavys (for good reason up close)
I get to stay out of sniper view and watch the area immediately ahead and behind my team and if it gets too crowded ill spray my team to spy check. Better out 20 shots then teammates backstabbed. |
Got like 3 ranks on my kunai tonight, and 1 on my revolver. Good stuff.
