Haven't really been following the info on this recently, but will most likely get this when it comes out.

Never played any of these games, the whole American Revolution theme has me very interested. After reading about the series, I never realized it was so focused on the history aspect of things.

Ubisoft has added in a micro-transaction system for the game's online multiplayer.

These packs are not covered by the Season Pass and instead are being treated separately by Ubisoft.

Two quick updates as Ubisoft clarified the microtransaction system saying all the in-game stuff can still be unlocked the normal way but is based on levels while the pay system can unlock stuff any time possible.

Just got this and booted it up and working my way through the first sequence, already noticing difference compaired to previous games. Climbing is much more fluid and easier to navigate around, graphics look top notch too. Not sure if this has been previously mentioned in any postings, but was suprised to find it came on two discs.

Combat is different and harder, which is cool

Harder? Sequels are supposed to be easier! Somebody tell Ubisoft to read the rules of making a successful franchise! You make the games super-easy so people will think they are good at it and like it!!

I'm not too far in, only just got to Boston. Interesting how they're starting it off, I like it.

Yeah I'm only a few hours in, but digging it so far.

Though I know I'll likely be switching over to Conor soon, kinda wish Haytham was the main character, as he seems like a proper gentleman badass.

Conor's pretty great(finally got to him), but Haytham is really cool so I would have enjoyed playing as him for awhile longer.

Nothing really stopping them going back and doing a Haytham prequel (or sequel, as I've got no idea how his part of the story ends right now) game. Although if AC3 really is the end of the whole Desmond storyline, not sure how they'd frame it.

I hate each and everyone of you who got to play this on release day.

*first 4. And nah not really. There's a menu in the game that lets you catch up on the whole story up to this point. Worst comes to worst, just read the wikipedia articles or something.

Also, running around the frontier is awesome.

I played alittle bit of the first one but didn't like the setting.. I've always put them on the backburner thinking when I got some time I'd pick them up for $20 a piece as Platinum Hits.. This one's setting/timeline is very appealing to me..

Revelations was a waste. Don't bother with it.

If you don't like 1, then 2 and Brotherhood are your best bets.

Am struggling to get into this, I'm on sequence three at the moment and just feel abit 'meh, same old Assassins'. I'm sure it will get better later on, but travelling from one end of Boston to the other, then back again, is just tiresome.

Conor's kind of a dick

I got Revelations fairly cheap a few weeks ago, it's definitely not worth paying a huge amount for. Doesn't seem to be a lot added from Brotherhood - bombs and the hookblade seems to be the major stuff.

I'm now on holiday for 2 weeks and stuff without AC3 - only got as far as where you just start out as Conor. Definitely did not see the end of the Haytham sequences coming.

Revelations is the least good one of the series, love the ending so much though

Grrrr. Why'd they have to mess with the fight controls? Only bad thing I came across so far.

Just started and finished up sequence 1 and got to Beantown. Will likely put some more mileage on before work tomorrow.
