I can see that by watching them. Those promo's are good, but none of those or any other one's that I can think of stand out, and they're certainly not better than Savage's WM 8 promo I posted. So .....?

I think they are just as good or better than that Savage promo. An average HBK promo is equitable to Savage's "best". Savage rambled on and basically said that taking the title was the best way for him to hurt Flair, but now he wants to destroy the rest of Flair at a later date. He said it in such a way that it was interesting, but hard to understand half the fucking time.

Seriously, how can you watch that Savage promo and go "Oh my god, that promo was one of the best I have ever seen."

With all this talk about HBK's promos, I invite y'all to go back and watch some of HBK's promos from the Summer of 1997 to when he left in 1998.

Especially one where he, standing in the ring in short pants and no shirt, announced he'd be the special guest referee at Summerslam 1997.

Classic stuff. The guy was an awesome heel.

wanna take a moment and say Better Wrestler was a smashing success and while i few others have helped along the way Jeritron and Supreme kept this thing going. Without them two above all others we'd have never seen the finals take place. YOU TWO ARE TOPS IN MY BOOK.

I've got to say I didn't expect this poll to be this lopsided.

Even though HBK will win this one, I voted for Macho Man because he was as athletic as Shawn in his Intercontinental Champion days and later made feuds with George Steel, Warrior, and "Zodiac" Ed Leslie watchable.

It's actually possible he did. He went up against guys like Hogan and Ultimate Warrior back in the day, guys who were bigger than him, very similar to what HBK did.
