The way I see it if Lesnar is leaving after WM there is no way he is walking out of WM 31 as champion and it would utterly ridiculous to have him win at Mania, walk out and then strip him of the title on Raw in absentia.

WWE needs him to be clear on his future sooner rather than later.

Secondly, he has no showcasable part of his gimmick. He's 2d. He has no character. He needs some feuds to be established, and not just those stupid "oh, he's disarmingly brilliant" backstage segments.
