Could be a possible sign of future things from the retailer as Walmart decided they wanted to get in on the amibo scalping market with the Marth amiibo as a possible start. They got a new shipment of the figurine recently and deiced to hike the price to $28 each.

Really hoping it becomes official though. Would absolutely love a SK amiibo. Hopefully it also has tie-ins to the main game. Not expecting any SSB compatibility. Would be fucking sweet if there's a Mario Maker sprite for Shovel Knight :D |

They're just collectible Nintendo toys that add some functionality to certain games (mainly Smash Bros)
some of them are rarer than others... if you go into a Best Buy or Toys R Us etc in the video games section you'll probably see a wall full of Mario ones because they're super common, but probably not any, for example, Kirby |
According to Nintendo, they are not manufacturing the Shovel Knight amiibo with Yacht Club in charge of almost everything for the figurine.

Got all of this wave so far except Bowser Jr. Only reason I haven't grabbed him is because toysrus.ca has $8.91 shipping cost... seems bullshit. Gonna check the store in Kitchener here after work and hopefully they have some. Otherwise I'll just bite the bullet and get it shipped.

Mega Man Legacy Collection will feature amiibo support - unlock challenges
Mega Man amiibo will be used to unlock challenges, kinda like how the Splatoon ones currently are in Splatoon. Kinda cool. Hoping there's a slight restock when this launches if that's the case since I do not yet have a Mega Man :D |

Poit has all of the currently released amiibo, as far as I know.
I have probably about half of them... I think between 30-40, I haven't fully counted in a bit. I started late to the game and missed a lot of the earlier ones. Plus I haven't scooped up all of the super common ones (Peach, Bowser SMB, etc) but I can get those any time |

Apparently Activision sort of forgot to include a nose for Bowser for the special Skylander amiibo. Also seems to be part of a wider problem with the current set of Skylanders figurines having defects or being poorly made.
