Even if you love Punk, is Daniel Garcia vs. CM Punk a match you need to urgently watch live? I’m seen some people blame the taped nature of the show, but you really don’t need spoilers to predict what that is about. You know you can DVR or YouTube that.

I’ve seen people praise the formatting of the show. I think it is patterned now to the point people know they can tune out or just not tune in. I also think they are feeling the recoil of over-saturation and the ceiling they put on their acts with irony and addressing the meta.

I also think that the way they have presented Danielson, even more than the way they have Punk, has hurt them.

Easy to think in terms of “These guys are great! If we just show them being great, we’re going to be great!” without thinking about how you do it or how it all fits together.

They should give Punk a Negan gimmick where he beats the people he defeats to death with a barbed wire bat

Evan Bourne not liking Lio Rush but then immediately liking him when he gets him a match vs CM Punk..... which he probably could have just challenged Punk to himself if he really had that much desire to face him....

So Cage and Omega both do/encourage Terminator claps.... when they won't even change a mid card dude's shtick for one of their main guys you know they have a discipline problem..... or maybe not the right word.... a problem with not telling guys no or that they have to change....

Cool at unnecessary blood... so badass and edgy

Overall not a good show..... when a Jade Cargill 30 second squash match is the highlight of the show it is not something to be proud of....

That doesn't really help..... they need to explain it all the time....

I know people hate WWE commentary and maybe feel like it is "talking down to them" or "repetitive" when they say the same things every week..... but it is necessary to "build the brand" and "build the characters", especially to anyone who might be tuning in either for the first time or the first time in a long time.

I mean, I'm not saying the AEW brand hinges on people knowing who the Lucha Bros. manager is, but it is just one of those little things that AEW need to work on to strengthen its on-air presentation.

This is the difference between good television and bad television. You’ll be able to find your way around most shows wherever you jump in by using contextual clues. These do not always exist in wrestling and they just expect you to “know.”
