I will speak the mighty words... the pats and eagles will both remail unbeaten all year. they will face each other in the superbowl, it will end in a tie and neither team will ever lose a game for the rest of anyone here's life.

MoRcHeEbA 10-04-2004 01:50 AM

MoRcHeEbA 10-04-2004 01:51 AM

P.S. Seahawks are gunna win it all.

BabyHugger 10-04-2004 02:06 AM

Eagles will choke int he NFC championship. My Superbowl pick is the Seahawks.

BCWWF 10-04-2004 12:20 PM

The Seahawks have become everybodys pick to break out and win the Superbowl this year, which is why I don't think they will do it. They've got a lot of pressure and not a tonn of experience.

slextremely 10-04-2004 01:58 PM

I agree the seahawks can make it to the superbowl, but wining it is a different story...
The 2 best teams in the league are New England and Indy, i would count Philly up there, but they will choke in the NFC championship game again.

road doggy dogg 10-04-2004 02:25 PM

Indy is NOT one of the best teams in the league. Have you seen their secondary!? Fucking brutal. They can score, but teams will pass on them all day, they aren't going to win anything this year.

I picked the Seahawks last year for the Superbowl... I don't see why they couldn't do it this year. Their offense is as good as its always been, and their defense is playing spectacular this year. Whether or not they can maintain that is another story, but at this point they look tought to beat.

el fregadero 10-04-2004 02:32 PM

Stupid Colts. :'(

At least it wasn't a blowout, though, and Leftwich finally had a good game (yes, I know the Colts have no secondary, but still).

road doggy dogg 10-04-2004 02:35 PM

Don't feel bad, Egerrin James is the man

el fregadero 10-04-2004 02:50 PM

No he isn't, but that's not the point.

road doggy dogg 10-04-2004 02:53 PM

Nah, he is

el fregadero 10-04-2004 02:55 PM

Fred Taylor is supposed to be the man, I don't know what is going on.

Y2Ant 10-04-2004 03:25 PM

Your team isn't going anywhere. They haven't beat any good teams yet(except Minny). They have 1 Wideout and that;s it. No depth. They have the most disloyal fans on the earth and they have a quarterback that can't win any meaningful games.

Now stop wasting my time and come back AFTER the eagles get eliminated in the NFC championship again.

Haha it is funny how the Eagles have 7 wideouts they pass to atleast once a game. Everything is not revolved around TO if you actually watch an Eagles game dick.

Talk to me after you actually watch a football game. :foc:

Gonzo 10-04-2004 04:04 PM

The Giants throw to at least 7 different people in the game, doesn't make them have depth.

Shutup dipshit, without T.O. the Eagles would still be a good team that can't finish a season. Until they prove the can get to the big one and win one, then my opinion will stay the same.

slextremely 10-04-2004 04:39 PM

The Colts have both of their safety's out!!! that could be a big reason their secondary is'nt playing well... they basicly have the same team they did last year and that got them to the AFC championship game. The AFC championship game this year will be New England and Indy AGAIN, it's a toss up whos gonna win.

road doggy dogg 10-04-2004 05:00 PM

Wow no shit, way to state the obvious.

"Both their safeties are out, so their secondary isn't playing well." What exactly are you trying to argue?

Ok dick, everyone keeps saying "untill they prove they get to the big one" well then maybe that means you have to wait for the whole NFL season ends.

road dogg your a dumbass, the reason the secondary isnt playing well is because both of their safties are out... not that they really need them because they keep winning.
name me a team in the AFC other than New England better than Indy

What I am saying is get off of your god dammed team's nuts every fucking week you dumb cunt. You twats are the most obnoxious mother fuckers I have ever seen in my life, every fucking Eagles fan is.

When your team wins the Superbowl at the end of the year like you so fucking firmly believe they will do, talk all the shit you want.

Until then have a rational discussion about football without saying "EAGLES 4-0 WHAT NOW BITCH"

Or that dumbass Eagles song.

Seriously, you fucking moron.

They don't need a secondary to win? Sure when they play teams like Green Bay who have an equally awful secondary and can light up the scoreboard, then they don't. In a shootout, Indy has a very good chance of outscoring anyone in the league. Look at this week as an example. Yes, they won against a good defensive team, but barely. Jacksonville was still very in the game until the last dying seconds. Jacksonville is hardly an offensive juggernaught, and they still had a decent day against Indy's secondary. What happens when they play a team like Seattle, who can put up points just as well as Indy (arguably), and can potentially shut them down? Nobody will be saying "they don't need a secondary to win" then, I don't think.

As for AFC teams better, try the Jets, Steelers (I stand by this... Indy isn't good at stopping the run, which Pittsburgh has been doing well, and Pittsburgh's D is respectable enough to at least contain the Colts enough to not lose them the game), Denver (once Griffin learns to hold onto the ball), and I'd even go out on a limb and say Oakland, with the way they've been playing lately.

The Outlaw 10-05-2004 03:23 AM

Bold claim.

I don't agree with it, but ya know. :p

#1-norm-fan 10-05-2004 04:12 AM

Indy is "better" than Pittsburgh, Oakland, and Denver simply because they can win games like those teams can't. They may not be as well rounded as those other teams because of the defense, but they are better.

Gertner 10-05-2004 10:58 AM

lol it's not a toss up between new england and indy. it's between new england and new england.

BCWWF 10-05-2004 03:36 PM

New England isn't going to go undefeated, I won't be surprised if they don't make the Superbowl. Personally I think they are a good team but I don't consider them a dynasty. They won the Super Bowl twice in three years, but in between they didn't even make the playoffs did they? That whole winning streak is overrated too, all that matters is this season. Don't get ahead of yourselves yet.

I agree/disagree they will get the undefeated streak but there is no way they will go undefeated all season.. No Shit. I thought they were a one time thing for the Superbowl when they beat St. Louis, and the next season it looked like they were. But they came back from a shitty season and absolutley looked totally different. And the winning streak is not overrated it is pretty amazing to win that many games in a row in the NFL.

Gertner 10-05-2004 05:25 PM

How is there winning streak over-rated!!!!!! They've beaten everybody!

Look at their schedule. They have a great chance of going undefeated.

slextremely 10-05-2004 07:01 PM

New England is great, but i see them loosing 2 games at least, it's too hard to go undefeated in the NFL now days. As for Oakland being better than Indy  , please well i guess we will find out for sure this week.

BCWWF 10-05-2004 07:17 PM

Its a new season. Last year means jack shit now. Its a good stat but doesn't mean anything. They aren't a bad team, don't start putting words in my mouth, but they aren't a dynasty yet and the winning streak is just a pointless fact. Last years winning streak is different, because they won the last 15 games of the year or whatnot, but when the season ended so did the relevance of the streak.
