Once it's set you can't change it. (At least I don't how to if you can.)
This game rocks.
Deadpool is hillarious I love his convos with Weasel, Black Widow and The Ancient One. I'm running a modified Marvel Knights team (accidently chose that name and now I can't change it lmao) of: Deadpool, Spiderman, Wolverine and The Thing, total badass team, especially since I can do the fastball special with Wolvie and Thing  |
SHIELD point or whatever the save points are called.

My team is Team Bitchcakes with Spidey, Deadpool, Captain, and Wolvie. I'm on the mission where you have to save Jean Grey and Nightcrawler.
Unlocked Dr. Strange and Blade, haven't used them yet. |

Haven't played a game in like a year, but bought this one and now i'm on it 2 hours a day. Very cool..especially the costumes. My customized team I got Deadpool,Panther, Ghost rider, and Ironman.
Anyone play on Live yet? If so, how is it?
Hey Funky
While I'm thinking about it, you can now do powers while you fly. Thought you'd enjoy that.
Yeah, makes my playthrough as Ironman, more enjoyable.
And insanely simple.
Screw flying, I just select Spider Man and websling through the levels.
But I can't fight whilst web-slinging...:(
It's still fun to do.
Also, Wovie is mad overpowered when he gets his red dots all filled up. I took down Evil Spider Man and who ever the other evil version of the hero was while he was all "enraged" I guess you would call it. |
Yeah, but it takes soooooo long to get his moves leveled up it's almost not worth playing him until he's like level 50.
Kinda sucks that you can't fly/websling over doorways but have to go under...:wtf:
Word on the street is Ghost Rider can bring people back to life. Yes? |
Yes. I'm pretty sure it's a passive triat (one of his costumes.) Here's a little something I found on it:
Use the following trick to make a hard to kill team. Create a team consisting of Wolverine, Blade, Luke Cage, and Ghost Rider (Bad To The Bone team). The team bonus will be that 5% of all damage will be regained as health. Also, all these characters have a way to regenerate health. Equip the following outfits. For Wolverine, Astonishing, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Blade, Ultimate, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Luke Cage, New Avengers, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Ghost Rider, Original, max out Resurrect Ally and Defense. It is also recommended that Ghost Rider be equipped with The Heart Of Mephisto (10% of attack damage turned into health) or a similar item because he is the only character without a Health Regen. Equip other characters with gear that increases defense or dodging capabilities. Not only will your team be difficult to hurt, but they will be absorbing and regenerating most of the damage they take. If a teammate dies, Ghost Rider will have about a 50% chance of resurrecting them. Note: Ghost Rider is the weak character. He does not regenerate, and if he dies resurrection is lost. Also, Wolverine will regenerate the fastest because he has an inherit ability to regenerate in addition to the suit's bonus. |
you could also add Deadpool into that, as well, forget which costume accerates his healing factor.
Do most of you play it on normal mode or easy? I have it on easy, cuz I suck at video games..but i'm wondering if it also revives your heroes after they get killed on normal?
You have to wait a certain amount of time and get to a shield point to revive them on normal.
It Revives your hero on all levels..
Beat Normal mode, now working on playing Hard Mode, with my characters, contining at the levels they were at, at the end of the normal game mode.. I like being able to carry your players stats over, thru however, you can't do it, going from Easy to normal, which I guess, for thoses who needs to play the game on Easy first.. However, Marvel UA will end up sitting away from my PS2 for awhile due to DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 being there. |
Beat it, awesome game, only thing is there is supposed ot be like voiceovers during the credits and then a little secret thing at the end but I got nothing but music anyone know why? Maybe because I played on Easy?
Prob. because of easy.
another thing some of the briefing movies when I go to load them in the review meny just go into a loading screen abd right back to the video selection.
Is there any way to use your super attack without activating your buddies supers as well? Blade and Deadpool's specials look cool together but we rather save the attacks.
Storm rules, BTW. |
Who are you're favorite heroes? Deadpool is the shit...Spidey is good..and next one probably Panther.
Also ,in the part where you have to choose who to save between Jean Grey, or the other dude when they are locked in the cages..is it the same outcome if you go either way? Like if you save one the other dies? |
I have a kickass team of Thor, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Captain America.
I killed Nightcrawler. I figure Jean Grey died enough times already.

Hulk Smashes Activision's Ultimate Alliance
Eight new playable characters coming with new downloadable content. by Hilary Goldstein US, March 23, 2007 - Good news Merry Marvel fans, Activision's Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is getting the Hulk in April. Today, Activision announced plans to release its first expansion pack for last year's well-received Marvel RPG. Marvel: Ultimate Heroes and Villains expansion adds eight new playable characters. Joining the aforementioned green behemoth are Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Hawkeye, Magneto, Venom, Sabretooth and Doctor Doom. Each character comes with new signature powers, skins, dialogue and conversations. And yes, 10 new Achievements are being added, bringing Ultimate Alliance's total to a whopping 60 possible Achievements. "The signature gameplay of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance has made it a favorite among fans, as well as the best-selling Super Hero game on the Xbox 360 to date," said Rob Kostich, VP of global brand management at Activision. "By adding some of the biggest names in the Marvel Universe to the roster we're enabling Xbox 360 gamers to build a variety of all-new teams and enjoy the epic action in brand new ways." The content does not add any new areas or villains to battle. But it adds the friggin' Hulk, so that may be reason enough for comic geeks to give the expansion pack a try. The eight characters are also being fitted to match current Marvel team bonuses already in the game. New teams are also being added to take advantage of the expanded roster. The Ultimate Alliance DLC will be available in three separate packs. Both a Hero and a Villain Pack will be offered (containing four playable characters apiece) for 500 Microsoft Points ($6.25) each. Or you can but the Hero and Villain Pack, which includes all eight new characters for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). |
Sweet. Now all I need to do is get a 360, some extra cash and like 5675476 games.
I actually picked up this game the day it was released....played it for about 10 minutes to try it out and that was it....
Let my cousin borrow and just finally got it back today.. Thinking that I could of gotten it cheaper now really doesnt mean anything to me at the moment because I picked it up as a free game when we were doing a buy 2 get one free thing at work. Cant wait to start playing it again though... |
Love this game, but I have on the PS2, so meh.
Well, I own a PS2, but my brother owns the copy of the game for my PS2, so technically I don't own the game, so I have no reason not to buy it for 360, when I get one.
Stupid 360. Even if Hawkeye, Hulk and Venom are the only ones that really sound that interesting.
Guys like Hawkeye always get balls abilities.
I wish this was available for the Wii :(
Damn looks like I need to purchase the game again.
I need an Xbox 360 :(
Wonder what the new achievements will be.
