Skippy, I know you're joking, but I might have to remove your ball sack if you ever say something like that again. And wouldn't that be a shame, taken away before they ever could prove useful.:D

It doesn't matter how I or you feel about him. It matters what the general public feel about him. They have built him up as a legit threat to Cena.

Mind you I am an idiot for bringing this up in a thread with the subject being something we all can argee on, but it is true.

How bout Jarrett should have not held the title for as long or as much as he has had in the past.

We all have to argee on that.

The One 12-02-2006 07:51 PM

But by your logic, Jarrett SHOULD have held the belt a lot. The TNA fans REALLY hated him. It didn't matter how or WHY they hated him, but he had the public hate him. So if WWE did a good job building up Umaga, than by the same right TNA did a good job having Jarrett be the number one heel and always on top since that is where people hated him the most.

No clearly I wasn't saying that. CLEARLY TOVO

See when UMAGA debut his reactions were less then Steller and they weren't going up for a while, but they stuck with it and now he is good threat to Cena with some heat behind him.

WWE has done a good job with him. It bares no comparison to Jarrett holding the title as much as he did. None what so ever.

TNA should have let some else try and carry the ball since Jarrett never really did anything with it.

Heh heh, whenever I see a comment like that, it always reminds me of when Paul Heyman was on Raw and he was forced to open the show as JR was backstage for an interview or something. The show opened with Kane against someone, and at one point Kane threw the guy out the ring, and Paul-E says really really forced and without any emotion - 'well I think thats unfair by Kane'.

Dunno why, but I  at the thought of it.

Hogan making it to a Presidential debate...The Ruse Report's wet dream...

The One 12-02-2006 10:38 PM

You wouldn't even need to make up bullshit facts, Hogan would simply provide enough bullshit on his own.

Survior Series 97 was the most conterversal momment in the history of pro wrestling

FourFifty 12-03-2006 12:56 AM

Umaga shouldn't be typed in all caps.

Nope. Bash at the Beach 2000, Hogan VS Jarrett.

I never followed wcw so I have no idea what happened

The One 12-03-2006 02:36 AM

Basically what happened at BatB 2000 was Hogan and Jarrett had a World Title bout, the intro happened (though Jarrett waited over a minute before coming out from the back) the bell rang and Jarrett just layed down. Hogan pins Jarrett and tells Russo "That's why the companies in the damn shape it's in is bullshit like this." Hogan walks to the back with the belt, later Russo came out and cut a promo about how it was bullshit Hogan was using his creative control card and how he had been battling with him backstage all night. He said Hogan can keep the belt and call it the "Hogan Memorial Belt" and that later on in the night Jarrett would defend the title against someone who actually deserved it, Booker T. Booker wins his first title later on that night and the rest is history.

But no, not even kind of close to Survivor Series '97. Not even worth being mentioned in the same breath to be honest.

Surely the drugs and underage gay sex allegations of the mid 1990s WWF were more controversial than a difference of opinion between a wrestler and his boss.

Kane Knight 12-03-2006 10:52 PM

Fuck, you didn't even need to wait for the PPV. I'd have agreed yesterday. ;)

NeanderCarl 12-03-2006 10:55 PM

Hows abouts....

Paul Heyman is probably the most disgruntled person in WWE right now.

Testicle 12-03-2006 11:48 PM

Agreed, but he sure hides it well

The One 12-04-2006 12:22 AM

I thought we IP banned Crippla...and is that's true...and T4C is still here...the world is slowly being over thrown by annoying dumbasses. This sucks I'm going to the bar.
