I caved, went overdrawn, i don't care, totally worth it, only done a few hours worth, just beat that spider thing.

Quite impressed, it's not like OMFG amazing, so almost felt a little let down because of my own hype for it, but it's still a very very decent game

So I just beat it, only need like 60 stars to get to the final fight.


Now I'm gonna go back and get the other 181 stars to complete it 100%.

you have to get all 120 stars with luigi to open up the 121st star.

120 (mario) + 121 (luigi) = 241 stars - 60 (me) = 181 (left to get for 100%) :(:(:(:(

Towards the end of the game, you get a purple comet appearing in galaxies you have already visited. They let you do a "collect 100 purple coins" star.

I picked it up a few days ago, but finally got around to playing it last night. it's sooooo fun. The tutorial-ish level (levels?) was pretty blah, but it get really fun as you progress. Bee Mario is so damn cute.

I was worried it was too easy, but it's slowly getting harder.

The 2nd time you fight bowser is an aweosme level and the comets are a great idea to make the levels harder

and if Luigi gets lost one more time there will be murders!

This is probably one of the better buys I have made this year. Someone said earlier that it feels less forced with the control scheme and I would have to agree. Sometimes in Zelda to get the game to register a wiimote spin I would have to almost wrench my wrist out of my arm I was spinning so hard, on this game it is so much easier.

Mario 64 was too advanced for me.

I found the flying suit, can't actually see what the benefit is though.

Can't fly to any planets using it

and just started the planets in the garden

The more I play it the more I love it, i take back what I said earlier, quite possibly one of the best games I've ever played

I'm at 59 right now.

My only gripe is the gravity and the curvature of some planets are so infuriating sometimes :mad:

Once you get to the Garden area, this game gets pretty hard.. Sitting on like 55 Stars ATM..

Got this for Christmas and finally cracked it open last night.

Pretty cool concept and storyline.

BUT GOT I HATE THE CAMERA!

The camera gets annoying at times, but it makes the game harder so I'm guessing that why they did it.. Like, some parts you'll be flying through the air and have to get star bits, if it allowed you to look around once you landed, you might still be able to get them, but you were supposed to get them while still in the air..

Does that make sense??

I think they just put starbits there when you are flying to give you something to do. And it is not like you can't get starbits everywhere else, they are pretty useless except when feedind the ethiopian lumas.

Yeah but on some boards, you have to feed the Lumas in the board itself.. Every star bit counts in situations like that..

Just started playing, it is incredible.

I have never had any problems feeding the Lumas.

I don't like how galaxies open up so easily. I open up a whole universe before I get to it.

One of them, can't remember what board, you need like 70 to open him.. I didn't have enough and it's a board you can't go back on so I had to restart the level..

People were right, the first 60 stars come pretty easy, but after that OMG.. Matter Splatter Galaxy is insane.. I'm on like my 75th star but am putting off playing the final board for awhile.. For those who've "beaten" it, is that last center galaxy more than one board or is it just the final Bowser??

What is it when you have to replay a board that has a question mark.. I can't figure out what to do..

It just means that particular board has a second star in addition to the one you already got.

You just have to search around for something extra to do (like feeding a Lumas).

I'm trying to run through and complete like everything till the garden before I go fight the final Bowser.. I've completely beaten the fountain, the kitchen, the bed room and most of the engine room..

I'ts in the dusty dune galaxy. In the second star, theres a luma and I believe you have to feed it 20 starbits.
