So, about four weeks of masterbating got us right where we were in the beginning. Cool.

Dorkchop 01-13-2009 01:46 AM

The delivery of everything tonight regarding the Legacy was terrible.

I was interested in it until about now. Not to say this can't get interesting. I just don't care after tonight. I wonder if the ref for the match is second generation. I hope he isn't because no would gives a shit if a ref is second gen.

They should have had Kane join the legacy.

Juan 01-13-2009 03:43 AM

Those who didn't like this group from the beginning probably still wont after tonight, but imo tonight was bad ass and it made them look even stronger than they did when they started.

Haze 01-13-2009 12:24 PM

This group has been a mess from the very beginning. I mean in the last few weeks it looks as if the writers didn't really know what to do with this group. I mean let’s recap the last several weeks.
Orton punt kicks Dibiase.
Manu and Cody start assisting Orton.
Orton officially calls the group The Legacy.
The next week Orton threatens to break up the group.
Sim Snuka joins up.
The next week Manu is dropped.
The next week Snuka is dropped.
The next week Dibiase comes back, even after receiving the punt kick.

I mean what happened to the good ol’ days when this kind of stuff was played out a bit.

Savio 01-13-2009 01:30 PM

kinda debating on if it would have been better for Cody to turn on Orton or not.

BigDaddyCool 01-13-2009 01:58 PM

Why is Snuka out?

Savio 01-13-2009 01:59 PM

cuz Randy is racist

BigDaddyCool 01-13-2009 02:53 PM

Really?

XL 01-13-2009 03:04 PM

Did I miss the part where Snuka actually officially joined?

I saw him have a match, where he declared himself as Sim Snuka, that Cody and Manu were watching at ringside. Next thing I know Orton is telling him if he doesn't win he's out!

So when did they state he was a member?

Lux 01-13-2009 03:24 PM

Its called Youtube. Use it.

BigDaddyCool 01-13-2009 03:40 PM

Get it for me Lux.

This stable has THE BIGGEST POTENIAL BE ONE OF THE GREATEST EVER!!!!

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 01-13-2009 11:35 PM

This group is one of the few things that has my interest in WWE right now.

The WWE didn't have a clue what they were doing. One week they all wrestled singles matches, and Orton said that if they win, they're in; if they lose, they're out. Cody Rhodes defeated CM Punk via countout, or something like that. Sim Snuka beat Charlie Haas, dressed up as Snuka's (adopted) dad. Manu lost to Matt Hardy, and Randy Orton also lost his match, but it is a "do as I say and not as I do" environment, I guess.

Michael Cole called that week "the first test" and Lawler said something like "I'm not sure if it's the first test. I think it's win, you're in; lose, you're out." So with that, it was fair to assume that The Legacy was shaping up to be Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Sim Snuka.

The next week, Orton officially kicked out Manu, and then said that Rhodes & Snuka would be in a tag team match, and they have to win to officially roll with him. Rhodes & Snuka then defeated Cryme Tyme, when Rhodes pinned Shad with the Rhodes of the Dice generic finisher #3 he's using. Orton then bumped into both guys backstage, and told Snuka that he was out, because he didn't get the pin.

So while Snuka was never officially in, I don't think we've seen the official formation of the group yet. Needless to say, it looks like it's going to be Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. I wouldn't mind seeing the stable expand to include DH Smith (who as the son of Davey Boy Smith and the nephew of Bret Hart, has a lot of "legacy blood" in him), and Natalya. I mean, that's if they don't plan on doing anything with The Stampede Bulldogs idea.

I'd also consider putting Chavo Guerrero in the group, too, just so he has something relevant to do, and so the group doesn't look so...white. Then you can have the following guys go after the following titles:

Randy Orton - World Heavyweight
Chavo Guerrero - ECW
Cody Rhodes - Intercontinental
Ted DiBiase - World Tag Team
DH Smith - World Tag Team
Natalya - Women's

Afterlife 01-14-2009 06:15 AM

I just wish they'd settle in and actually....you know...DO SOMETHING.

Juan 01-14-2009 06:22 AM

^ True dat

Mr. Nerfect 01-14-2009 08:18 AM

That would be very nice, Afterlife. I wonder how well The Marine 2 will do with Ted DiBiase as a heel, though. Hell, I wonder how The Marine 2 will do with Ted DiBiase as its star.

Afterlife 01-16-2009 06:34 AM

Poorly.

Tb1 01-16-2009 07:22 AM

Didn't the original do poorly, anyway?

What, "Explosions: The Movie"? Yes, it did poorly. Because it's a movie "starring" John Cena.

Yea I was interested too...for a minute.

But the last several weeks have been such a cluster-fuck, I just gave up caring all together.

Evil Vito 01-16-2009 04:10 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah it's become pretty obvious they have no idea what to do with the Legacy. If they do indeed bring DH Smith back to Raw to be in the group, hopefully they bring Natalya along with him, just because I think she deserves better than what she's had on SD. Send Jillian over to SD to replace her, she is beyond stale anyway.

I'd be interested in seeing DiBiase and Smith be the tag team. They teamed up in FCW so I'm assuming they'll have some kind of chemistry.</font>

Several pushed for Manu to be kicked out of The Legacy, most notably, Randy Orton. The feeling is that he isn't in the same league or had the same amount of potential as others in the group, and didn't really fit in as a result. Many believe the group would be better off with Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase and possibly DH Smith.

Considering that he's no longer apart of Legacy, many feel Manu may not be around for much longer in the WWE.

Mr. Nerfect 01-18-2009 03:12 AM

To be honest, I like Manu enough to want to see him stick around. I won't lose any sleep if he goes, but I could get interested in a six-man tag team feud between The Legacy and Kane, Sim Snuka & Manu. If DH Smith joins the group, you can add Goldust to the face side.

.44 Magdalene 01-18-2009 04:16 AM

I really don't think half these motherfuckers have "potential."

.44 Magdalene 01-18-2009 04:17 AM

The Legacy and Kane: Soul Reaver

DH Smith and Cody Rhodes definitely do (DH Smith hasn't joined yet, but he's meant to be soon). Ted DiBiase is someone the WWE is really high on, apparently. I don't know. I can see the group working.
