What sucks is that it comes out a week after MW2. I have no problem getting it, since I have money put aside for it, but I don't know if any of my L4D "regulars" will get it right away because of MW2.

They're getting it at launch?!? I was just going to wait around Christmas or so since I figured you and your "regulars" would be doing nothing but playing MW2 the whole time which I am all for. Let them know that theres no rush to get this.

October 15, 2009 - Valve has finally spilled the goods on the promised demo for Left 4 Dead 2.

The demo features gameplay from "The Parish" campaign, set in New Orleans. All the new boss infected zombies and melee weapons from the full game will be available.

Up to 4 players will be able to play locally or online on Xbox 360 and PC. The Xbox 360 version will also have two-player split screen.

Those who pre-order the game (at participating retails and Steam) will get early access starting on Oct. 27. Xbox Live Gold members and PC players who didn't preorder get the demo on Nov. 3. All remaining Xbox Live members get access on November 10.

I still play Left 4 Dead Single Player because I hate playing with people online. Usually it's me and my wife or me and a friend but, sometimes it's nice to just kill zombies and have complete control of my experience.

In the Dead Air campaign, in the first level, directly outside the saferoom there is a freezer with an "indestructable" door, I think a Tank could probably take it down but none ever came. I went in to kill a zombie and the other three assholes followed me in. A horde came and I closed the door. I love finding these little glitches/design problems by myself instead of online and then depriving others from finding them for themselves. See, you can fire through the door as long as the zombies are close enough. I killed 932 zombies while reading a book. I'm so OCD...I don't know how I found that entertaining at all.

I can't play multiplayer for a reason you can guess so I've been playing single player and I'm kind of bored of it already after a month of playing. I hate having to lead and go in first while the bots are behind me and it pretty much leaves me open to attack. Plus smokers, hunters and tanks seem to have it out for me.

Just invite a friend over. What I like about playing single player is that I get to control the pace and style of gameplay. I just wish you could give them commands and have them follow them. Sometimes I just want everyone in the room because hey, we're fucking due for an attack. I'd rather have a single door serve as a chokepoint for the fucking horde but noooo, Louis wants to stand outside and get fucked in the ass by a smoker/hunter combo.

Fuckers.

I play on the PC and I downloaded the game so I can't use Steam with it. And I have no friends :(

If I get L4D2 I'll probably just go around using the sword. What I enjoy is spawning objects and building my own fort. Fuckers still are able to climb everything and even if you do survive it's still a mad dash towards the safe room or boat/helicopter

Try the door from the Freezer I guess. A long narrow hall with a sniper rifle would probably work perfectly, especially with the occasional fence to slow the damn tank up. I wish the XBox version had all the cool modes to play with...

I dunno if I'll be using any of the melee weapons, perhaps if I run out of bullets and don't have time to reload, other than that...I'm a very paranoid player.

I'm playing it right now myself. This blows L4D out of the water. Not to say I didn't like it, but everything is better.
