Just found out the ending to this season.

Tony is hold Jack's granddaughter hosatge but only Renee is in the area. Renee takes the shot and shoots Jack's granddaughter through the head but also through Tony's heart because Renee is a stone cold fox who will do anything to get the mission done because that is what Jack taught her to do.

Then the movie will be about him getting revenge and killing her except she was pregnant with their child. Or something. I haven't ironed out the details.

Business is finally picking up with the return of Renee. The rest of the premier was pretty unremarkable.

I still hate the look of this new CTU. I also hate the fact that they are all using bluetooth headsets and stuff. I can see that seriously causing problems. You wouldn't be able to tell when anybody is on the phone. Plus you get all these guys walking around looking like they are talking to themselves.

Don't like Brian Hastings either. He takes me as the kind of person who would be the one who insisted they all switch to bluetooth headsets just to look cool. Also, he is constantly hunching and looking at people cockeyed.

Yeah i was pissed about the posture of Hastings.

I on the other hand, like the new CTU...

But fuck, Bubba Gump needs to die now. And yes, i noticed that fucking hunch too. I noticed it when when the foreign president pulled up to CTU. I was seriously like what the mother fuck!

overall, the first 4 episodes kinda sucked, but the Renee stuff was fucking awesome and almost redeemed the 4 episodes. I was thinking, " damn she's like old school Jack Bauer".

It was awesome to see the old Adam Monroe/David Anders from Heroes in Ep4, he was awesome in Heroes.

I like this crazy-bitch Renee. Certainly a step up from last season.

Not sure what to make about this storyline involving the ex-con boyfriend though, no idea how they're going to be fitting that into the main storyline/making it interesting.

I laughed more at his posture than him being a horrible leader of CTU.

He might end up as a character who's involved in a major twist that ends up being shocking because of how bad he is and nobody would assume it was him or he causes more problems than a regular character because of how "dumb" he is as a leader.

I was happy to see Renee return to 24, but she seems so damaged now. Whose thumb is next? — Richard

Yes, 1 episode per week until around May when the season ends then its 2 episodes the last week.

Middle point of the season might also be a 2 episodes for 1 week as well since it was done last year.

I think this is building to a 24/Battlestar Galactica crossover. Like a sequel to the series or whatever. Where it all starts to "happen again", and only Jack Bauer can put a stop to the Cylons destroying Earth. It would be epic. Maybe save it for the movie, because I don't know how they would top Jack saving the human race from a bunch of homicidal robots.

I thought Renee was dead for sure. I "almost" was ready to shed a tear and then he's like I had to be sure and I was like Fuck yes.

The last 5 minutes of episode 4 and this ep have me stoked for whats to come
