Looks like the board are letting Ferguson do some major signing, thankfully they've realised what a threat Chelsea are.

We're meant to have bid Forlan and 20m+ for Torres from Atletico and rumour has it that 20m and Butt and Forlan were offered to Everton for Rooney earlier this week.

I reckon we could see two major signings this summer. Hopefully Torres and Van der Vaart and a couple people leaving like Butt and Forlan. Plus we'll have Liam Miller :cool: and probably a defender though once Brown and Rio are both fit and availible we should be able to manage.

Went to Mum's for tea. Ran the length of the kitchen to appeal her decision to let Phil lick out the cake bowl. Made Mum cry but at least I got to lick out the bowl!

Moustache definitely looks thicker today.

Said 'howdy' to Tim in training and he told me to '****ing **** off you little ****'. Said 'yo' to Rio and he said exactly the same. Maybe this Tourettes thing is spreading. Would tell Sir but think he's got it too.

Saw 'Stinky' Loos on TV. She looks really smelly. Tried to draw a little moustache (not mustach, thicko) on her face but she kept moving.

Update: This marker was permanent. Mum says I need to buy her a new TV.

Nothing. I just don't think he is any better than Forlan really and we need more age up front anyways since we will have Ronaldo (and Joaquin with any luck) in midfield.

We need another left winger too really, cause giggs can be awesome or utter shite, during any given match. joaquin is right wing, right? and i think ronaldo can play on the left so that could work, but still :rant:

I think we're going to have to find a good defensive midfielder and another good forward, along with some world class defenders. We don't have much depth anyway so I don't think we need to sell anyone bar the dead weight.

I thought about Ronaldo up front and on the left but I still want both Joaquin and VDV.

Its likely to be Joaquin or VDV not both, couldnt afford both and it'd be a bit unneccessary.

Id rather have VDV, he can play on the left, in the scholes role or upfront. Forlans pretty certain to go, hes not happy at Old Trafford anymore and its pretty obvious we're in the market for a striker. Torres and Rooney are the two we're alledged to have bid for and we're scouting a 21 year old from parma whos scored 17 goals this season already, and thats pretty good considering its the Serie A and hes so young. Kezman from PSV is going for 6m and hes got a good record so I hope we at least give him a look.

Next year we'll have Keane, Phil Neville, Djemba Djemba and Miller capable of playing as a defensive mid fielder and we may or may not have Butt (probably not).

If it was me Id go for Torres, VDV and Vincent Kompany and sell Forlan, Giggs and Butt. Should get about 20m for those 3 which would really help our buying power.
