But i'm sure the Colt will pick someone totally off the charts that no one expects.

RP 04-28-2007 06:48 PM

Greg Olson is already putting a Bears hat on. So the Colts are gunna have there choice of two great players that they need. Houston or Branch. But like i said, they'll probably pick someone unexpected. But i trust Polian when it comes to drafting.

Crimson 04-28-2007 06:52 PM

Craig Davis?? even Steve Smith woulda been better.

Crimson 04-28-2007 06:52 PM

Olsen and Branch next 2 picks.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 04-28-2007 07:04 PM

Anyone catch Olsen holding a bottle of unopened Vitamin Water? That company is ruthless with the ambushing marketing lol

RP 04-28-2007 07:05 PM

No but i caught Marshall Faulk making sexual advances at Brady Quinn.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 04-28-2007 07:09 PM

I am watching the ESPN coverage, I came home from school for the day so I can't watch NFL Network (only get that shit in my dorm)

RP 04-28-2007 07:10 PM

It pretty horrible so you arent missing anything. Accept for when Faulk tried to pull Brady Quinns balls out of his pants.

RP 04-28-2007 07:13 PM

Called it!

If i was a betting man, i'd say the Colts select Anthony Gonzales with there 32nd pick.

Nervous Ferret 04-28-2007 07:23 PM

Poz to the Bills

Butch 04-28-2007 07:44 PM

Eagle's still haven't learned how to draft I see :nono:

A fucking quarterback with a third round grade in the 4th pick of the second, when we already have 3 starting caliber signal callers on the roster. Why not a safety like Weddle?

MTH15 04-28-2007 07:56 PM

Wow no more good FS's left in the draft. Our managers are crack babies

RP 04-28-2007 08:27 PM

I think Billy King and Isaiah Thomas would have picked Quinn over Ginn. LOL the Dolphins crack me up. I guess losing organizations make losing decisions. Remember when they where close to challenging the Patriots a couple years ago? LMAO. Now they'll have to wait 5-10 more years. I hope Brady Quinn rips this league apart and goes to like 7 Pro bowls and wins the Browns a championship. So that i can feel this level of laughter every season when i watch the Dolphins play a football game. My god, Cam Cameron and whoever the fuck else is making personal decisions should be fired tonight. Talk about having no clue how to run a team. Jesus Christ.

RP 04-28-2007 08:31 PM

I know it wont help anything, but it think the Dolphin fans should organize a massive get together at there stadiums ticket office and line up to have there season tickets canceled. In the last 3 hours the Dolphins have managed to do the impossible. That is, replace the Detroit Lions as the most pathetic football franchise in the NFL. And they had to leap frog a couple of teams before they could even reach Detroit. Then they leaped Detroit. Amazing. Sucks to be a Dolphin fan.

KingofOldSchool 04-28-2007 08:52 PM

Soooo what was the deal that the Colts and 49ers pulled off, because I can't find the details for the life of me.

Kinda pissed we gave up our 1st round pick next year to get Staley.

RP 04-28-2007 09:10 PM

Dont know but they drafted a tackle from Arkansa

KingofOldSchool 04-28-2007 09:19 PM

We could've used that pick on Dwayne Jarrett. :o

I bet it was Aarron Brooks..

Kris P Lettus 04-28-2007 11:19 PM

Happy about Meachem since we filled alot of the holes in our D with free agency.. Don't know about this CB we got in the third though.. I figured we'd get Road Warrior Hawk's son, the LB from Ohio in the first.. Him or that TE the Bears got.. It's good to have depth at WR though..

MTH15 04-28-2007 11:26 PM

Welp we got a good CB and DE and OG and a WR

SammyG 04-29-2007 12:34 AM

I'm Happy with Carriker Leonard and Wade.

Nervous Ferret 04-29-2007 12:51 AM

Jets move up in the 2nd round to get David Harris

Jets had 4 picks on Day 1 and they only got 2 players, hopefully 2 studs though, Harris and Revis

Evil Vito 04-29-2007 01:13 AM

Pretty satisfied with the Giants' Day One. I really like Ross and Smith. Admittedly, I don't know a thing about Alford and apparently he was projected for the 6th round but who knows. They just need to make sure to grab a LB tomorrow and an OT as well.

MTH15 04-29-2007 04:53 AM

We could've took Jarret or Smith

Moss to the Pats for a 4th

Yikes

RP 04-29-2007 11:58 AM

LOL Eagles fans. That was the ultimate " Ohhh crap " moment.

RP 04-29-2007 12:00 PM

I'm so happy that Moss is going to the Pats. I'm sure all the Pats fans are like " He wont pull that mess with Bellichek " and i'll be laughing my fucking ass off when he does and becomes a cancer to that team. Potential best highlight of the upcoming season. Cant wait. It will happen. Trust me. I'll stake money on this.

RP 04-29-2007 12:05 PM

Nevermind the fact that a ton of the Patriots offense revolves around short and medium in routes and digs through the middle. Something Randy Moss dont do. I predict Moss will short arm atleast 30 passes this season.

MTH15 04-29-2007 02:06 PM

Imagine if they throw the long ball to him....scary

The reason for those short and medium routes is cause we did not have a consistent deep WR after we lost Branch. We had Gaffney in the playoffs, but that only got us so far. This year with Moss and Stollworth we can actually afford some diversity in our passing plays.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-29-2007 02:43 PM

Gotta go get a Anthony Gonzalez Colts jersey now.

WHITE LIGHTNING

Why do people keep saying this? He grew up in the suburbs of Columbus. Does ESPN even try to research their facts anymore?

It's a good risk, it cost a 4th rounder and the Pats are the only team he was willing to go to that he would re-do his contract.

The Pats have a great vet core and he'll be kept in line, plus Moss has a history of playing well when he has a chance of winning.

The worst case, he becomes a cancer and the Pats cut him, I'm willing to risk a 4th round pick on that.

Moss, Stallworth, Welker, best WR core the Pats have possible ever had, going back to the days of Fryer & Morgan.

I'll give you the "he could become a cancer" but if he does, the pats will cut him, I honestly don't think it will happen, not this year, now, 2-3yrs down the road I won't take that bet :) but this year I think he'll be fine.

As for the routes, the offense will always adjust to the players.

KingofOldSchool 04-29-2007 03:24 PM

Pretty happy that we got Jackson from Seattle.

I think he could be a solid #1 receiver for us.

RP 04-29-2007 03:27 PM

If he becomes a cancer it will most likely set your team back a year. Also, its just hilarious how they chose him over Deion Branch. And the fact that he's a go route WR ( and thats basically all he is ) and the fact that the Pats run a spread offense. Very funny. But hey, you'll figure that out the first time he's asked to run a 7 yard in route and shorts arms a dropped pass over the middle.

If theres one reciever that absolutely doesnt fit what the Pats are doing, its Moss. Which makes this move such a head scratcher to me.
