Out of the new costumes we've seen so far I like Balrogs and Zangiefs the most. Zangiefs new Ultra looks awesome, espeacially the close up during the headlock, and should come in useful when I'm playing against people that like to constantly jump to stop me grabbing them.

I just got through watching the Street Fighter movie over at Screwattack.com and they added their own commentery over it. I've not seen the movie since I was a kid.

Watching it now, I've just noticed that a few small details in the movie seem to have ended up in SFIV. A character workng for Bison looks a little like Rufus. He's a big fat guy with the ponytail, the handlebar moustache and the costume is similair but darker.
Bisons lair has a floating platform that looks a little like the reactor in Seths lab along with the floor in Bisons lair having the same pattern as Seths lab floor and in the movie, Blanka is in an incubation unit that is later raised up from Bisons floor. In Seths lab there are similair looking incubation units that seem to have risen from the floor with sillouettes in them.

Maybe all coincidences or maybe little nods to the Street Fighter movie.

Meh. Will wait for the next edition.

There was a live stream showing off most of the new ultras but no videos have popped up on YouTube yet. Someone typed up a list of what was shown but I'd rather see them in action.

Cammy has a counter for an Ultra. This is fucking awesome. Akuma's new Ultra looks weird, they should have used the Mountain Breaker.

I thought it looked a little flimsy. I'm not sure what the Mountain Breaker is although I'd probably know it if I saw it. If they made his second Ultra look like it had more impact, maybe it'd look better.

I just saw the English version. Looks very cool. I read just now on GameFAQS that there will be an SSIV anime movie but it's a 360 Japan only thing. I hope not.

Looking around online, I can't find it in English but it's downloadable in English on the 360.

I was hoping it wouldn't get released so close to RDR. I better start saving up.

I wish they'd hurry up and announce the rest of the roster officially. There is a tournement in Japan at the start of April and it'll have all the characters available to use so it seems we'll get the characters revealed before April anyway. That still means we could be waiting until March for the official announcement, though. Someone did point out that new characters tend to be revealed on the 28th of each month so maybe we'll get something tomorrow. I doubt it. Probably the end of March.

Turns out we aren't get the Collectors edition at all but we will get a preorder bonus, according to a Capcom staff member on the Capcom forums.

I really doubt our preorder bonus with make Japanese fans "spit feathers". It's going to be something like a free costume pack. I don't get how there is no demand for a CE. the CE of SFIV sold out pretty fast.

It bugs me because I really wanted that anime and soundtrack. I've pre ordered my copy anyway for £25. I'm hoping I still get the pre order bonus even though I pre ordered before it was announced.

Famitsu show screens of the next 3 character revealed. If they are showing them off, I'm guessing the next official reveal trailer could maybe be here on Friday, so you could just wait until then if you want a reveal with more punch than a few screen shots:

I know this isn't really the thread for it but I bought DOA4 a few days ago and, after Street Fighter IV, it takes a bit of getting used to. The AI is pretty relentless most of the time. Espeacially the last fight.
I used to be really good at DOA2 when I was younger but with DOA4, I'm feeling like an amatuer again. I can't even pull off any move more complex than *direction and punch/kick* because the AI doesn't stop moving at all. It's constantly punch or kicking. Reversing isn't as simple as I remember it being in DOA2, either. I don't care much for the online or lack of English VA, either. Anyone else go through this when they got DOA4 or am I just bad at 3D fighters?

Still, it's a good game but I prefer SFIV.

Def harder than DOA2. Hell, I remember more than a few occasions where a bunch of us would be completely shit-faced and still pull off the most amazing combos and reversals. Only people that were any trouble were Leon/Bayman (good god, the counters that just kept chaining :'() and Tengu. DOA4 is a right bitch tho. AI can be relentless, especially when dealing with the ninja characters.
