HOT SHIT DBZ coming out a lot sooner than I expected.

Sepholio 10-23-2017 09:17 PM

No Ultra Instict Goku = bust

Kalyx triaD 10-23-2017 10:36 PM

That was debuted like two minutes ago. But could be easy enough for next year's dlc.

Fignuts 10-23-2017 11:04 PM

If we were to get another Goku, I'd rather it be Goku Black, tbh. Has more of a unique style all his own. Could do a lot just with his energy blade thing.

I found Everybody's Golf for PS4 last week and have been playing it basically non-stop since I got it..... Huge fan of the Hot Shots Golf franchise and I considered myself pretty good at it, then I went online and saw some high-scores.... Those Japs aren't messing around....

Bungie is off the chain.

Fignuts 10-25-2017 06:10 PM

Huuuuuge blunder, not offering the season pass with the collector's edition of DBFZ. I was actually considering it, as that statue and steelbook look mint, but not anymore.

Emperor Smeat 10-25-2017 06:50 PM

Bandai's community manager also made things a bit worse by lashing out against those who were upset. Stated people shouldn't expect freebies or Season Pass discounts when they buy special editions even though its a pretty common feature now.

Kalyx triaD 10-25-2017 07:49 PM

Lol Jesus.

Guess I'll see what this Battlegrounds thing is all about cause I still don't get it.

Fignuts 10-31-2017 09:27 PM

What's not to get?

Kalyx triaD 10-31-2017 10:02 PM

The popularity of what is essentially an elimination team deathmatch. I'd like to see the fuss about something I could replicate in Halo 5's custom games mode.

Fignuts 10-31-2017 10:54 PM

I really doubt you could replicate the experience on Halo 5. The basic concept, yes.

Kalyx triaD 10-31-2017 11:02 PM

What's the specific concept?

Fignuts 10-31-2017 11:11 PM

Quote:

Each match starts with 100 players parachuting from a plane onto a map area approximately 8 by 8 kilometres (5.0█mi ×█5.0█mi) in size.[2] The plane's flight path across the map varies with each round, requiring players to quickly determine the best time to eject and parachute to the ground.[1] Players start with no gear beyond customized clothing selections which do not affect gameplay. Once they land, players can search buildings and other sites to find weapons, vehicles, armor, clothing, and other equipment. These items are procedurally distributed throughout the map at the start of a match, with certain high-risk zones typically having better equipment.[1] Killed players can be looted to acquire their gear as well.[1] Players can opt to play either from the first-person or third-person perspective, each having their own advantages and disadvantages in combat and situational awareness; though server-specific settings can be used to force all players into one perspective to eliminate some advantages.[1][3]
Every few minutes, the playable area of the map begins to shrink down towards a random location, with any player caught outside the safe area taking damage incrementally, and eventually being eliminated if the safe zone is not entered in time; in game, the players see the boundary as a shimmering blue wall that contracts over time.[4] This results in a more confined map, in turn increasing the chances of encounters.[1] During the course of the match, random regions of the map are highlighted in red and bombed, posing a threat to players that remain in that area.[5] In both cases, players are warned a few minutes before these events, giving them time to relocate to safety.[6] At random, a plane will fly over various parts of the playable map and drop a loot package, containing items which are typically unobtainable during normal gameplay. These packages emit highly visible red smoke, drawing interested players near it and creating further confrontations.[1] On average, a full round takes no more than 30 minutes.[6]
At the completion of each round, players gain in-game currency based on how long they survived, how many other players they had killed, and how much damage they dealt to other players. The currency is used to purchase crates which contain cosmetic items for character customization.[7]

Fignuts 10-31-2017 11:18 PM

I mean it's like saying what's the difference between conquest in destiny and conquest in battlefield.

Kalyx triaD 10-31-2017 11:35 PM

So literally an adaptation of Battle Royale? Thought the name was coincidental.

Also you can still make that in Halo 5. But it's a neat mix of concepts.

Sepholio 11-01-2017 01:55 AM

It gets stale very quickly. Same thing over and over and over again. No progression.

Good for E-sports I guess. But I really hope this kind of experience doesn't keep trending. It's just so shallow in the long run and uninspired.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-01-2017 03:14 AM

Yeah, I won a game and it felt like I had finished a single player game. No desire to go back.

4) SALES & FREEBIES:

#BROKEN Hasney 11-02-2017 04:49 PM

Apparently in COD WW2 you get a "social score" for watching people open lootboxes and for people watching you. Also apparently the higher your social score the better loot you get in boxes.

I wish this word hadn't been co-opted by a bunch of twats as a catch-all insult, but that is literally a cuck score.

Emperor Smeat 11-02-2017 04:59 PM

Do others get to see the contents as well since this sounds like a modified idea from that patent where they purposely wanted to rig matchmaking in games to ensure people spent money on loot boxes. Idea being to get losing players to spend money to get the cool weapons being used against them.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-02-2017 05:20 PM

Oh yeah, everyone sees what you get. I think as this is just in the social space, it's seperstw to the matchmaking idea. But it sounds like CoD just wants to be focused on getting lootbox purchases over being fun now.

Kalyx triaD 11-02-2017 05:54 PM

Presentation wise that's actually kinda cute, but yeah it's very clear what the intentions are here.
