This Andrew Luck guy is pretty good.

One and Done Manning strikes again

He has 69 yards passing 1/2 through the 3rd quarter
Also Colts ball |
Wow.

Just like yesterday:

Droford, you really should stop talking. This has not been your year for saying things that won't get quoted and used to mock you with later.
|
Colts are morons passing all downs up 8 in the 4th
|
Harder to drive down the field with runs. They got what they wanted with the 3 points and the time off the clock.
|
Quote:
CJ anderson almost bails out Manning on 4th down and thats the ballgame Another one and done |
Spot Challenge. I thought he had it originally.
|
Another famous Peyton Manning playoff choke.
|
Broncos choke. Not all on the QB.
|
Mannings secretly looking at the script for his next Papa Johns commercial
|
Can't see how its not Pats/Hawks in the Bowl.
|
Packers/Patriots
|
I strongly dislike The Seahawks. I need Aaron Rodgers to do me a favor.

Luck & Co. should have better odds against the Pats. |

everyone gonna shit on Peyton Manning for being "one and done" again even though he won a superbowl
|
Thanks Colts. You are the 1997 version of Jags.
|
Wow people don't waste time jumping on the 'blame Manning' bandwagon, while totally ignoring that the Colts defense played some spectacular football today.
|
Quote:
In fact he still has 1 fewer playoff win in 7 years (10) than Manning in his 15 years and the same number of rings. |
Fuck it, O-line was spectacular too. Protected Luck for the first time all season.
|
Hoping now for a Green Bay/Indy Super Bowl now just for something different but I'm sure seeds will hold form next week and we get Seattle/Pats
|
Would be crazy if Manning's last game is a loss to Luck and the Colts.

When was the last time Peyton didn't make the playoffs or even needed someone to lose to get in? Even with some of those teams not being terribly talented especially on the defensive side of the ball? |

Just dropped a "hefty sum" on a teaser bet for next week... Packers +16.5 and Colts +14
Hope I don't punch myself in the ballsaq` for that |
I always thought that Peyton would finish the last 2 years of his contract. But something clearly happened to him late in the year. And now Gase and possibly Fox leaving. I don't see him going through a new coach and coordinator just to play one more year.
Really shit way to go out if that was it. |
He isn't garbage. He's the best regular season quarterback ever. He is somewhat inconsistent in high stakes games, is all.
|
Peyton's problem is having way too many "one and done's" and having the bulk being at home. He has a couple of big game wins but too few for someone of his status in the GOAT talk.
9 "one and done" losses (next closest is 4) and 6 playoff home losses (next closet is 3). That and he's like a Bizzaro Flacco when it comes to playoff records. Flacco has a lot of road playoff wins while Peyton has a lot of home playoff losses. |
It just seems funny to me that it's such a knock on him by his haters. If he doesn't make the playoffs at all those 9 years, or even half of them, I don't think he gets the same flack. Despite it being a much worse thing to do. It doesn't make sense.
Like I said, I'll take the guy who HAS shown he can win big games but also loses a lot because he's so fucking good in the regular season that he has a shitload of opportunities over the guy who has won a higher percentage of playoff games but struggles to make the playoffs in order to play the big games to begin with. And also struggles to get a bye when he does get there while the other usually gets to skip the wild card round. And again, that's not even factoring in that the second guy who struggles in the regular season has had much better teams surrounding him than the other one did for most of those one and dones. |
COLTS!
|
NEW ENGLAND!
YOU'RE NEXT! |
If Flacco wasn't such a choke artist last night, this would be a home game.
|
Ya, Colts really should have kept that Manning guy instead of drafting ANDREW MOTHERFUCKING LUCK BABY!.

I agree. To an extent at least. You still have to factor in the teams surrounding him. Dan Marino belongs in that conversation regardless of his lack of rings. But when someone tries to argue someone who isn't remotely in the ballpark of a Peyton Manning as far as just playing the QB position like a fucking beast simply because they have as many or more rings or playoff wins, it's a joke. There are guys who make teams a contender on a yearly basis and there are guys who piggyback, and even then, fail at times.
The 2011 Colts season alone and how it compares to the previous 10 years should be enough to tell you Peyton Manning is a fucking God who belongs in a discussion only with the greatest QBs of all time. |

And now here's this quote from a 2011 wild card game... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B7IOywPIUAAmGeK.jpg Fucking football |

My boi Aaron Rodgers is biblical

I'm a fan of the Packers but Dez Bryant did catch that ball.
|
Rex Ryan goes to Buffalo
|
I love the move. Just wish he got Trestman as his OC like he wanted. Ryan is my favourite coach in the NFL, I think. May have to check out a Bills game next season.
|
REPORT AND SOURCES are saying Peyton has had a torn right quad for a month
|
He's no Kurt Angle.
Why not hire Peyton has your OC if your Elway. I think that makes sense. I don't see Peyton being an analyst on TV. |
Maybe Peyton will take a cushy TV job if he retires for a year just to rest his weary bones (lol 39 being "old") and then return to the sidelines at some point. I can't see him not coaching in some capacity ever, but no idea if that's what he wants right away

Peyton probably got his ass firrrrrred.

It was mutual parting. Nobody got fired, Fox wanted to leave, Elway wants to go a new direction.
But (by far) the best coaching job has opened in NFL now. And I'm nervous about who Elway will be holding interviews with. |
Oldest Ride....longest line. Wooooooooooooo!

With or without Manning they have a awesome team. You place a average QB there and they will still win their division.
|
Quote:

What a terrible division with the Chiefs and Chargers. Just down right terrible. They are just the second strongest division in the AFC. Really wish they would not be so bad.
|
Quote:
They dont even know what they have in Osweiler. Funny thing is hes a free agent after next season as well. 2016 will be a better year for free agent QBs anyway. |

How well did they do in non-divisional play?
|
I was in the camp of " Manning isn't done" , but now that Fox its bailing, I don't know.
I told all my friends this last week that the Colts had a serious shot because Peyton was hurt and the only reason I knew he was hurt was because he missed two practices. Peyton wouldn't miss a practice for nothing. This guy held a press conference denouncing the decision to cut training camp practices a few years ago. The moment I heard Peyton missed two practices, I knew he was legit hurt. Any real Colt fan could of told you that. |
I dont see how Manning would come back for another season having to both rehab the torn quad and learn everything new under a new coaching staff. The only reason would be for a farewell tour but i think Manning is one of the few that wouldn't have a problem going out without the hoopla.
Maybe Denver goes after Eli Manning in 2016 free agency. |

Im so happy.
Ryan and Roman. Big change fora 9-7 buffalo. |
I seriously love the Ryan signing for the Bills. He's a great coach, and you know he'll bring the Bills to play for those AFC East matchups
|

Only logical thing to do is to promote Adam Gase or Jack Del Rio to head coach. That would mean no major changes on either side of the ball. However, with Adam Gase getting some interviews, we may very well be looking for another Offensive Coordinator for the 2nd year in a row.
As far as Manning and the QB issue is concerned, unless the front office got a lot of faith in BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROCK OS-WEILER, we may very well grab another QB down the road in the draft. Problem with that is, there ain't a lot of lookers in this year's class after Winston and (if he declares) Mariota. |
Adam Gase strikes me as someone who is going to bust as a head coach. Probably because it doesn't exactly take an Einstein to be the offensive coordinator on a Peyton Manning-led team.
|
Mariota is awful lolololol O-H-I-O Buckeyes bitch. Jameis Winston is better than Mariota and Cardale Jones is better then both of them. Urban Meyer is the best college football coach. Buckeyes are biblical.

Fangio wants the 9ers job or Shanahan as HC. 9ers are looking to Gase. I hope they come to a decision soon so I can cry. Still. Fuck them for getting rid of Harbaugh. One of the dumbest GM decisions I have ever seen.
The worst part is that they knew all season that he wasn't coming back and had absolutely no clue who to replace him with. |
SPOILER: show The more I watch that Dez play the more it completely baffles me how that wasn't a catch. Like seriously, I even wanted Dallas to lose IN THIS EXACT SCENARIO BECAUSE LULZ SALTY DETROIT FAN and it infuriates me that that was not a catch. |
takes like 3 steps after catching it, ridiculous
|
The rule is fucking ridiuclous. I would rather punch myself in the dick than see The Cowboys in the Superbowl but that was insane to me. The Cowboys should have won that game to me.
|
Jason Garrett is about to get a 5 year deal to stay with the Cowboys
|
5 years, around $30 million. If he lasts for the whole deal, becomes 2nd longest tenured coach in Cowboys history.
|
I was as critical of Garrett as anyone and wanted him gone last year but taking play calling duties away from him seemed to do wonders. Suddenly they were coming in looking prepared week in, week out which was the biggest issue before. I'd like to see that kind of discipline continue through another year though to make sure it's not a mirage.
Hopefully Marinelli comes back, too. What he did with such an under-talented, insanely injury-riddled defense to at least make them average and come through in big moments when the offense needed it was amazing. If Sean Lee can actually make it through the season and they can get a little more talent on that side of the ball, they can be great. |
Ravens coaches vs Cowboys coaches in pro bowl so you know who will win
|
No one.
|
How much money will you be betting on the pro bowl, Droford?
|
Jets hired Todd Bowles as their new head coach and Mike Maccagnan as their new GM.
Bowles was the former defense coordinator for the Cards and Maccagnan was the former college scout director for the Texans. |
