Hence why they're in last place there.

And honestly...who would've thunk that the Skins of all teams would be a powerhouse in a division loaded with 'em? And yes, I do keep the Eagles in that defintion. Let's face it, every team in the NFC East has the tools to be in the Super Bowel. The Giants have the freaking luck of the Irish, the Cowboys have a lot of recievers for Romo to throw to, the Eagles have McNabb, that arm of his, and Westbrook and the Redskins have that massively mutli-talented offense that can surprise the hell out of you even when you're not sleeping on them. The only issue I see the Skins having is that secondary. It sleeps waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much and gives opponents to many oppertunities to make big plays.

Otherwise...how bout them Redskins?

RP 10-06-2008 08:13 AM

I had like 5 heart attacks when Gary Brackett picked that ball up and ran it in for the touchdown.

Hanso Amore 10-06-2008 10:10 AM

LOL, just saw the TExans/COlts highlights....LOL! Epic Fail on Sage. What the fuck was he thinking? DOes he think he is Elway's heir! WHat a fucking idiot.

How are the Texans 0-4?

They have got to come around at some point. They draft very well honestly in comparison to other teams, so what is taking them so fucking long?

Gonzo 10-06-2008 10:47 AM

This year is whacky indeed. Usually you have at least 5-6 undefeated teams this deep into the season, this year there are only 2.

SammyG 10-06-2008 03:13 PM

The Rams survived the Bye Week.

Kris P Lettus 10-06-2008 05:56 PM

Drew Brees will throw 4 TD and over 400 yards tonight, FYI..

Supreme Olajuwon 10-06-2008 05:57 PM

I believe Adrien Peterson is shooting for similar statistics this evening.

Kris P Lettus 10-06-2008 06:01 PM

Evan will Sed Ellis being out, we'll still shut down the run.. Been pretty good against the run the first 4 games, and have been getting pressure on the QB a good bit.. That might be cause of double teams on Sed, but I guess we'll see tonight..

I meant to mention to you and ABT, to be a horrible as they seem, the Bengals have looked really good against 2 of the best teams in the NFC the past two weeks.. Palmer just needs more pass protection and a little more running game and y'all would be condenders.. Y'all are the worse best team in the league.. Or best worst..

Kris P Lettus 10-06-2008 06:01 PM

Also, is AP playing QB now or are they gonna run the HB pass (wildcat) like 45 times tonight??

Supreme Olajuwon 10-06-2008 06:08 PM

A Palmer/Beanie or Palmer/Moreno backfield will be pretty sick next year. Alas, that's next year. :(

Kris P Lettus 10-06-2008 06:11 PM

Just like the famous Saints fan quote "WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR"..

:(

SammyG 10-06-2008 06:21 PM

Warner said he was gonna retire until he heard Boldin was released from the hospital. He said he felt it was his fault for what happenned to him, and felt guilty enough to retire. Wow.

Just sayin' Wade Phillips, if you ever plan to not give him the ball at some point again this season...

I personally thought the Cowboys were going to rip the Bengals by at least 21points or more but Romo just wasn't getting his rhythm until late in the game. I thought Cincy threw out a great curve ball with that onside kick. Too bad they couldn't capitalize and ended up fumbling the ball.

I think Dallas has to keep the running game in tact. MBIII and Felix Jones combined for almost 200 yards on the ground BUT don't forget about T.O. True, he is sometimes 2x covered but c'mon, go for the long bomb. T.O. still has the speed to make it happen. I know he can me a drama queen but I seriously think they aren't utilizing him as much as they can. And finally, STOP. THE. PENALTIES. While it has gotten better in the last couple of games, it just dumb mental mistakes that still cost them a good amount of yardage.

Honestly, while it was very ugly and stressful at times, a win is a win.

Nov 16th in Washington is going to be a showdown. The Redskins are proving they are the team to be reckoned with in the NFC East. If the Cowboys are wanting to go far in the playoffs, that road is going through the Redskins without question. True, NY Giants aren't too shabby either but honestly, it's going to be Dallas or Washington.

#1-norm-fan 10-06-2008 10:30 PM

Antoine Winfield is being ridiculous right now.

Crimson 10-06-2008 10:51 PM

I always draft him, but missed him this year in the main league.

Ninti the Mad 10-06-2008 10:53 PM

Tony Romo needs to stop throwing shitty passes.

Last two games, he has been pretty inconsistent in accuracy.

What a cheap shot!

#1-norm-fan 10-07-2008 03:54 AM

Reggie Bush returns two punts for a TD.

Saints hold Adrian Peterson to 21 rushes for under 40 yards and no scores.

Vikings win.

lol... seriously... what?

SammyG 10-07-2008 03:55 AM

Winfield is ridiculous.

He doesn't throw shitty passes. There just always seems to be a pass in every game where he just doesn't account for a defender being in the path of the ball for whatever reason. For the most part, his passes always look crazy good. He's got such a touch on them.

This may be true, but we have a history of sucking it hard at Arrowhead. Honestly expected them to lose.

Oh yeah, who's pretty much fucked for atleast the next 3 years? Oh that's right, KC (and Oakland) are.

Get back at me when you have a QB who starts atleast 3 games in a row this season.

Umm, LOL!

Serously. Throwing a perfect spiral right at a defender = shitty pass. I am pretty sure Ninti wasnt mocking his touch. Its not like he is saying Romo just launches it randomly into the crowd at times.

You are like a Palin supporter. Just admit he threw ONE shitty pass, stop trying to spin everything.

Hanso Amore 10-07-2008 09:30 AM

Also, Wow, Felix Jones was a GREAT draft pick.

How is Mike Jenkins doing? If the Bills hadnt gotten McKelvin he was next on my list.

And what about the several other under passes? overpasses? throwing it way ahead of the reciever?

Romo is the man but he needs to get back to how he was throwing in the first game of the season. Its been downhill from there.

Um, that is a shitty pass then. The ball may be well thrown, but if its straight to a defender then its a shitty decision.

Y2Ant 10-07-2008 09:55 AM

So much for Brees throwing 4 touchdowns :o

(would have been nice though, since he's my fantasy QB  )

Crazy fucking game..

Fuck Gramatica.. I have no idea why we drafted a badass kicker in Taylor Melhaff, who looked just as good as Gramatica, only for camp competition.. Def a wasted draft pick and it's biting them in the ass now for picking the vet over the rookie.. Two fucking games that greesy piece of shit lost for us..

Our defensive looked top notch.. Prtty much shut AP down.. The refs straight up raped us through the first half.. The Reggie Bush fumble was CLEARLY a 15 yard face mask before that cause the fumble.. The Kaesviharn forced fumble was just that.. The ball was clearly coming out before his knee hit, so why does it matter that AP still had his hand on it?? He didn't have control of it, that's for sure..

I want to murder Ed "I wear adult small t-shirts even though I weight 250 LBS" Hochuli.. Horribly officiated game..

Another heartbreaker..

p.s. Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFL, FYI..

Kris P Lettus 10-07-2008 12:13 PM

Atleast Reggie is shutting up the naysayers..

I don't think people will continue to call him a "bust" for too much longer..

SammyG 10-07-2008 12:24 PM

Oh, nevermind, Rams did not survive the bye week, we lost McMichael for the year.

Didn't you draft like 2 TEs 2 years ago?

SammyG 10-07-2008 12:30 PM

Klopfenstein and Byrd. Byrd was released, because of off field issues, basically he was a thug douchebag. Klopfenstein had a great year his rookie year and then forgot how to play football.

"Right at the defender" and missing a defender coming in to the play and picking one off... big difference.

I'm defending the passes themselves, not his vision. If Ninti wants to clarify that that's what he meant then alright.

Until then, I really have no thoughts on the opinion of Mr. "I base my predictions on my hatred for players."

(BTW, countdown to Eli Manning begining to suck again and choking away the season, 3 weeks CUZ I HATE HIM OMGZ!!!!!)

Too bad it was all for not..

Shadow 10-07-2008 02:26 PM

Why the hell do they keep giving that offical games is beyond me. Whoever is in charge needs to either bench his ass, send him back to ref school or fire him because he's costing good teams games.

Kris P Lettus 10-07-2008 02:27 PM

I think that's the first time I've ever pos repped you..

lol I don't know if you're talking about me but I don't hate on anyone in this thread. Unlike most people who post in here, I will put forth a logical argument about any subject I talk about. Romo is a good QB, but you simply can't deny the fact he makes some bonehead throws and critical errors in big games. The Cowboys are stacked and they have a great ability to bounce back, but they have been snake bitten in the playoffs. Until Romo can get to the playoffs and play without making one of these errors, that will be my knock on him.
