LOL how does that make sense? You're a homer arguing about your team's player. I'm talking about the entire league and haven't mentioned my team once. Nice try, babe.

Droford 10-17-2010 07:59 PM

Cowboys are done! Waiting for the epic implosion..

IC Champion 10-17-2010 08:00 PM

I said he was probably top 3, and based on his play in the last year you can argue that he is. But it's not going to matter because he plays for my team and you're going to view my opinion as biased no matter what. You pretty much stated it from the beginning.

CSL 10-17-2010 08:04 PM

Hakeem Nicks is better than any receiver in the history of all time ever. Peace.

McLegend 10-17-2010 08:06 PM

Awesome

IC Champion 10-17-2010 08:06 PM

Hakeem Nicks sucks and is over rated, fuck the Giants.

Droford 10-17-2010 08:06 PM

i thought for 1/2 a second romo was gonna take that ball into the endzone

IC Champion 10-17-2010 08:07 PM

No but Nicks been pretty good in the last few games.

IC Champion 10-17-2010 08:07 PM

Stupid turnovers, and no discipline is going to keep killing the Cowboys.

Kris P Lettus 10-17-2010 08:08 PM

lol Cowboys

IC Champion 10-17-2010 08:10 PM

Its really been surreal to watch game after game, I mean to think this time last year Roy Williams was probably our biggest problem.

Team Sheep 10-17-2010 08:11 PM

OMG Jets game.

Team Sheep 10-17-2010 08:16 PM

Oh yeah. Grinding it out on the road. Beautiful. 5-1 and a week off

Emperor Smeat 10-17-2010 08:17 PM

As bad as the Chargers have been, the rest of the AFC West has been horrible besides the initial 3-0 start by the Chiefs. Last place Chargers just 1-1.5 games behind from 1st place.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-17-2010 08:18 PM

Can't believe the Broncos are only 2-4. They seem so much better than that.

I'd feel worse for them if my team wasn't in the midst of a meltdown, I was expecting them to contend for a playoff spot with the Chargers no longer beign what they were.

They are. The problem is, aside from this game because I didn't see the first 3.5 quarters, they start slow because they insist on trying to run. The losses to the Colts and Ravens in particular can be blamed for this. I think both games combined total yardage for the first quarter would be something like 40-50 yards, with 60-70% of the plays called having been runs. Then throughout the rest of the game they insist on trying to get it to work instead of just throwing, which teams have had great difficulty stopping itself.

TL;DR Denver loses because they can't run but they keep trying anyway

Droford 10-17-2010 08:42 PM

Ravens are 4-2..

Gotta think they'll win next week vs Buffalo..5-2 into the bye week with a winnable game vs Miami at home after. 6-2 through the first half is about as good as I expected. After that they have winnable game vs Atlanta on Thursday Night Football, and road games vs the Panthers and Bucs that should be wins easily, which puts them at 8-3/9-2 going into the tough part of their remaining schedule (pittsburgh SNF, @ Houston MNF, New Orleans). Im really hoping they flex that Saints Game to SNF (and dont say they wont because its 3 weeks of primetime games, Pittsburgh has 3 straight primetime games vs New Orleans/Cincy/New England)

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-17-2010 09:01 PM

I think we just saw the reinvention of the team that won 3 Superbowls inside of 4 years. Randy was nothing more than a deep threat that Brady was using as a crutch to draw double coverage so he could hit Wes Welker. If the random pass is incomplete it basically means you are punting on the set of downs.

The championship teams were all about short routes including screen passes that substituted for a real running game. Deion Branch seems to be fitting back into his old slot. Also winning by a field goal made me think back to all of those victories by Adam Vinateri game winning field goals.

The old pats were also about making great half time reads and coming back to dominate the last 30 minutes of the game. I know that it's only one game with Branch, but it felt like the Pats were finally back on track.

RP 10-17-2010 09:11 PM

Tony Romo is horrible. If he gets any pressure, he shits himself. I honestly think Jeff Garcia is better then Tony Romo.

lollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. Love our defense so much. Bradford is going to be absolutely amazing in 2 years. Hell, he's pretty good already. Jackson looked good today too, really closed that game out with those runs in the end. Pretty excited about Rams football, feels phenomenal after the last 3 years.

RP 10-17-2010 09:13 PM

I think Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson, Reggie Wayne and Larry Fitzgerald are all better the Miles Austin.

Nark Order 10-17-2010 09:15 PM

NINERS!

Didn't he have to leave the NFL because of severe brain damage/concussions? That's the only way he'd make that statement.

SammyG 10-17-2010 09:18 PM

What a terrible football game SF-OAK was

Team Sheep 10-17-2010 09:19 PM

Really wanna see the Niners make the play offs now for a laugh.

McLegend 10-17-2010 09:21 PM

Kevin Kolb is pretty good.

RP 10-17-2010 09:22 PM

Peyton Manning time!

I think Pierre Garcon is about to have a huge game.

Kris P Lettus 10-17-2010 09:27 PM

I got the Skins winning this game..

(not a shot at RP)

RoXer 10-17-2010 09:30 PM

http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/ar...for-miles.html

Over the last 16 games, Austin has 107 catches for 1,713 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had 76 catches for 1,239 yards and 10 touchdowns after being put into the starting lineup last year and through four games this year he has 31 catches for 474 yards and two touchdowns.

For comparison's sake, Austin's yardage total would be the fifth-best single-season total in NFL history. Only Jerry Rice (1,848 in 1995), Isaac Bruce (1,781 in 1995), Charley Hennigan (1,746 in 1961) and Marvin Harrison (1,722 in 2002) had more yards.

Of course, at his current pace in 2010, Austin would break Rice's single-season record for yards in a season with 1,896. He is on pace for 124 catches, which would be second-best in NFL history.

That's some elite company right there.

RP 10-17-2010 09:32 PM

Shanahan already making a blunder by kicking off

RP 10-17-2010 09:34 PM

FUCK

RP 10-17-2010 09:36 PM

Colts offensive line is terrible this year. I dont think they can go to the Superbowl as is. I wish they trade for one of those O linemen holding out or something.

Running game is gone. Marshall is gone. Defense is in disarray yet again.

Pretty much what FearedSanctity said already. Orton's passing game is top notch this season, but McDevil doesn't know what he's doing.

Another year for a Denver Broncos fan. :'(

Kris P Lettus 10-17-2010 09:39 PM

That should have been a pick..
