I honestly think that last night may have been the worst booked Rumble match in history. I can't recall a worse one. Not only did the wrong wrestler win, but they did it at the expense of so many people

Anyways, I also wanted to point out how fucking awesome that triple threat was. Just wow, whatta match. Great stories told all around, lots of fun spots, tons of emotion by everyone involved. I loved every minute of it.

. . .

I absolutely agree. I can buy DB not winning the Rumble, but unless he's going to feud with Bray Wyatt to WM, since Bray eliminated him, having Bryant go out to so early created nothing. Heck, switch him with Ziggler and give him a final 4 standing. And have a heel eliminate him.

Ultimately, the second half of the rumble match was lackluster and illogical for all the reasons Mr. Pierre said. You can figure out ways to rescue yourself from the disappointment of not having DB win, but the writers did none of that. Having Kane and Big Show just knock people out and haul them over the ropes? That is entirely anticlimactic.

But yeah, the Championship Triple Threat was amazing. Watched the whole thing on an HD Stream, and man... elbow drop and Phoenix Splash were mark out moments. My only nitpicks are that Brock no-sold a little *too* much (I know he's a monster, but immediately getting up after 2 AA's and also a briefcase shot, and also how quickly he sprang from the tables after Rollins hit his Phoenix Splash were just a little too conveniently superhuman...he couldn't have spared just one or two more seconds?--again, nitpicks). But it was a great match.

Artie Lange doesn't seem too bothered about it, though.

Last year's is still the worst.

Dunno, this one stank it up pretty bad...... not even about the DB thing either.

People actually voted Reigns Superstar Of The Year.

drave 01-27-2015 08:33 AM

I still question the validity of that vote. It was "a work" IMO.

Dude was barely active in 2014, at least for that accolade.

And he's injured but they decide to fly him to the arena JUST INCASE he should win said award.

Oh, I'm sure.
