The Nitro pyro is perfect, shame they couldn't get the music.

One thing I noticed is that non-unlocked guys in Universe mode keep being booked as mystery opponents, but either beating them or winning as them doesn't unlock them. I've found the BradyGames guide but it's wrong. It tells you how to unlock Sin Cara (He's unlocked from the start) and HBK (DLC).

Also, thinking about unifying all titles apart from the world title. At the moment, every match on a PPV is a title match and not all titles are even on the card. Either that or kill off the Divas.

I'm sitting at work and I know I left it after Wrestlemania last night so I'm thinking about the draft and how I want to go home and play it now.

Can't wait to get my legit copy at the end of the week so I can round out my WCW roster with more CAWs.

Wish you could rename the belts though. Was using the WHC spraypainted as WCW, but it annoyed me at the Royal Rumble when it said "WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP (SPRAYPAINTED AS WCW) MATCH"

Beginning to think that the guy who said in a preview that Superstars could be their own brand wasn't lying and it could be at one point. Each show has a "effected by draft?" switch and if you turn it off for one brand, it doesn't happen at all. Individually turning it off would have made sense for more than 2 brands, but not with only 2.

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, the initial reports said 3 brands was possible. My guess is that they nerfed the feature to have something to add next year.

Next year: potential for 3 brands and an editable number of matches so all shows could have the same number if you wanted.

The draft seems to do a lot of champ v champ matches. Pain in the arse is that if you sim the matches, you don't see who gets drafted :-\

Hawk got drafted and now LOD are tag champs on both brands. Air Boom have just lost the Raw titles magically.

I was probably always going to watch those matches anyway. Wonder if you can switch participants in the draft matches without losing the stip.

For anyone thinking about getting the unlock DLC, I would do the following before you get it for some decent universe scenes that unlock stuff, not sure if it would work if it's already unlocked:

Win the first match booked
Win a match with Cody
Win the tag titles

Just changed up a draft match and it was a draft match anymore

Wake-up taunt doesn't work if the previous move cut them open.

Note about injuries in universe, not sure if this is a spoiler or not:

totally forgot that there were injuries, super excited about that.

Oh for fucks sake, the guy who was injured was still in a stable on WCW (he went to Raw as part of the draft) and was wrestling a match and he fucking runs out to help his friend. He's still on the injured list.

Assuming you meant wasn't...which is a shame. I probably would have done champ vs. champ anyway.

US Title match, Dolph V Undertake. Dolph was whipped into the corner and is now doing the "stunned in a corner" pose but is currently floating across the ring, almost at the other side.

Undertaker is just pacing, holding his head confused.

Restarted it and after the match, my CAW ran down and embraced Dolph with Cole talking about it being emotional as they're both champions.

My CAW does not even have an inactive belt, let alone an active one.

Cody got knee pads. Game is out of date. Gonna cancel my order.

Creating a story and the wrong names for text parts are coming up and the match is bugged to hell.

The camera is zoomed out twice as far as normal, some ground strikes and wake-up taunts don't work and the body condition I picked in the story-maker isn't reflecting in the match at all. Ugh.

Just had Cody come out after an #1 Contenders match and smash the winner in with the WCW belt. Shame it was the wrong brand. And a shame he's not the champ.

Daniel Bryan wins the Royal Rumble after I press the wrong button when he's trying to eliminate me(lol @ my tired dumbass), then wins the WWE Championship at Mania.

Just had a match on Raw in universe and all the logos on the announce desk and ring weren't there. A couple of matches later they were back, but a CAW I made for my story on the free agent roster was brought out as a mystery partner. Fucking thing.

I'm gonna play after work today and decide to cancel my pre-order or not to see if this gets fixed for a change.

Nah, even with the game copies on 360, they have to be cryptographically signed as a retail version so the content can't be different from the retail disc.

What I'm hoping for is that one of you guys say tomorrow that there's a day 1 patch when you first start the game, then I can see if it fixes some stuff.

Guy clearly hates Smackdown games so I wouldn't buy into comments about gameplay, but buggy as hell.

Over at gamefaqs there is discussion that the PS3 version comes with a 249 MB day 1 patch. Who knows.

Been on GameFAQs forums and they're talking glitches. The logo vanishing mid-match sounds pretty common and everyone's complaining about Universe mode, especially random universe scenes that have no connection to the match that just happened and injuries.

If a guy is injured, you cannot book them. However, the game will book them and if you have long matches, injuries will happen frequently.

No-ones mentioned my story mode, floating corner rest or dodgy camera angle glitches yet. The dodgy camera only seems to happen if it's a tag match and one team gets jumped before the match.

Just had a look and that could be good news then.

Microsoft are usually slow at certifying patches so hopefully the 360 one is around the corner.

<font color=goldenrod>Yeah, if PS3 already have a patch coming out then I'm sure 360 will as well, even if it comes out a bit later. 360 and PS3 are the two main versions of the game so I doubt they'd fix one but not the other.

I've heard mixed reviews on injuries. Some people say they happen a shitload, but others have already played through half a year of Universe without any injuries. I think it largely depends on what kind of match you play. I'm somebody that tries to win the match as quickly as possible, usually with one finisher. So I should be in the clear. People who try to brutalize their opponent in every match may be in trouble, though. One guy said the only injury he's had in 4 months was Del Rio taking out Tyson Kidd because he just totally destroyed his arms and dragged the match out before the Cross Arm Breaker.

I also tend to watch a lot of CPU matches and they too try to win the match in a timely manner so whatevs. Random cutscene shit could get annoying, but since I'm running my own sim fed I can just no-sell it and continue on as if nothing happened. WWE writing team style.</font>

Probably gonna make Universe be WCW with all of the legends and guys who are no longer on the roster and have the current WWE be updated through exhibition mode.
