There was a story yesterday on espn saying that the Giants may be getting tired of Plaxico's "antics".
He is not in the same league with Chad Johnson or Terrell Owens in terms of selfishness.
I wanted to punch the television.

Lemme find a link to the story.

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Jones got into a fight with one of his security guards at a downtown Dallas hotel on Wednesday morning, according to Dallas police.

Dallas' CBS affiliate, Channel 11, first reported Wednesday that Jones was involved in an altercation at the Joule Hotel in Dallas, damaging a bathroom.

Dallas Deputy Chief Vince Golbeck told the Dallas Morning News police were called to the scene at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday. Chief Golbeck told the News he thought Jones was staying at the hotel and may have been drinking.

There was no police report filed regarding the incident. No one was arrested and no one will be charged in connection with the fight.

Adam Jones timeline

Since the Tennessee Titans drafted cornerback Adam Jones in 2005 he's been questioned, named or arrested in connection with at least eight off-field incidents:

• Strip club incident

What: Jones' name appeared on the police incident report after a fight broke out in a strip club. The female involved said she had no plans to pursue the case and it was dismissed.

• Hotel incident

Where: Nashville

When: June 2005

What: Security officials at Regal Maxwell House Hotel had trouble getting two of Jones' friends to clear their room after checkout time. Police arrived, smelled marijuana and found some on a tabletop. Jones was in the room, but one of his friends took full responsibility for the evidence.

• Nightclub arrest

Where: Nashville

When: July 2005

What:Jones was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor assault and a felony count of vandalism after a fight at a Nashville nightclub. Charges were dismissed less than a year later.

• Vehicle confiscation

One more thing, Link about Adam Jones getting into a fight with a hotel security guard.

If theres any truth to this story, it's obvious that people can't change and the guy has to be DISCIPLINED SEVERELY. Like a perma-ban from the leauge would be nice. Scumbag,

Big Fat Mike 10-09-2008 11:46 AM

KRISPY YOU BEAT ME TO IT :foc:

Big Fat Mike 10-09-2008 11:52 AM

Seriously though, can we please have the guy bagging groceries or something? My theory is that if he doesn't have millions of dollars at his disposal, it will limit the amount of damage he can do.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2008 11:59 AM

Not really..

I mean, you average street thug doesn't have all that money and they are still a common street thug..

Thug is a thug regardless of how much money they have.. If Pacman is too f'n stupid to stop biting the hand that feeds him, he is gonna be alot hungrier once that hand isn't there..

Big Fat Mike 10-09-2008 12:02 PM

Maybe, however the guy wont be going from strip club to strip club around the country without a huge bankroll. I agree though, he is a street thug that will always find a way to wreak havoc on society...I just think that he doesn't need to be on the same field as genuinely good guys, like your Drew Brees or my Eli Manning. The NFL has no room for people like him.

Unless you play your games in Irving, Tx.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2008 12:03 PM

Or Cinncy, Ohio..

:shifty:

Big Fat Mike 10-09-2008 12:08 PM

Thank you, I almost forgot about that one. I mean I know lawrence taylor used to be a dirty player on the field, but there are plenty dirty players ON THE FIELD, even nowadays. They don't go dealing drugs and shooting up strip clubs and gas stations once they get home. Show up to work mean, hug a puppy or something when you punch out.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2008 01:36 PM

Hey, Giants fans, I need to know what's gonna happen with the whole Carney/Tynes thing ASAP because I have Carney on one of my Fantasy teams and I need to know whether or not to pick up someone else..

SammyG 10-09-2008 03:13 PM

Pick up Elam.

Chris Mortensen

This guy has lost a lot of credibility in my opinion. The 24/7 reporting world we live in has caused this guy to jump all over everything and speculate where there aren't stories. Sure, the Giants may be a little sick of Plax, but if he keeps breaking the rules they will just keep fining him. The media is making a problem out of nothing here.

It's really a game time decision on Monday. After this week, expect Carney to be cut if Tynes is ready to go in order to make room on the roster for David Tyree.

Kris P Lettus 10-09-2008 07:10 PM

Why would they cut a kicker who's hasn't missed a kick??

Big Fat Mike 10-09-2008 08:23 PM

Tynes is who they invested in during the offseason?

Cause they stupidly signed Tynes to a 5-year contract. Although Carney sucks ass at kickoffs, only 3 out of his 9 kickoffs on Sunday reached the 10 yard line :o

Gonzo 10-09-2008 10:36 PM

Yeah. Tynes will get the nod if he is healthy, just because the Giants invested the contract into him. Hard to see them going with Carney.

Yeah, his later years with us, our punter at the time, Mitch Berger, was doing most of the kick offs..

Oh yeah, that was Feely..

OssMan 10-10-2008 01:16 AM

Tynes nearly pulled a Jay Feely in Green Bay. Somehow he made the hardest kick though. Feely was an awesome kicker too, he just got cut because of that one game. So stupid.

RP 10-10-2008 07:36 AM

I'm gunna be laughing when Indianapolis blows Baltimore out 33-9

Big Fat Mike 10-10-2008 10:53 AM

Romo is a good QB, but you simply can't deny the fact he makes some bonehead throws and critical errors in big games. The Cowboys are stacked and they have a great ability to bounce back, but they have been snake bitten in the playoffs. Until Romo can get to the playoffs and play without making one of these errors, that will be my knock on him.

lol. Completely wasn't referring to you...

Jump to conclusions much?

RP 10-11-2008 12:35 AM

Reggie Wayne is a sicko

#1-norm-fan 10-11-2008 06:22 AM

Did he rape and murder a small child?

RP 10-11-2008 07:30 AM

Basically

RP 10-11-2008 08:38 AM

ROFL Brandon Jacobs will kill like 5 Browns players right there on the field Monday. I dont know why the Browns are talking trash to this guy. Someone is gunna get hurt.

Nervous Ferret 10-12-2008 09:28 AM

Boomer 10-12-2008 02:34 PM

OssMan 10-12-2008 03:31 PM
