Anyway. Can't wait for my Patriots to beat the Seahawks.
|
Lots of "BUZZ" lately about Eagles wanting to draft Mariota. Obviously. I don't think they'll be able to draft him because they'll have to give up way too much to move up.
Curious though, would find it hilarious if during the Combine etc if he just fuckin taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanked it to drop his draft stock, giving the Eagles a better shot to draft him. Kelly obviously knows what he's capable of already so it's not like he'd be scared. Total moral and ethical faux pas but would be hilarious to see him just shitcan everything to get drafted by the Eagles. Agent would have a heart attack. |
That would infuriate the radio guys here, I'm sure of it. Would be amazing to hear so I'm for the tanking
|
Something like that would never happen, would just make me totally and utterly gleeful. Not that I wanna see Eagles do well or w/e

Would just be easier to trade to get ahead like the Browns did with Manziel last year. |
Broncos Fire john fox who goes to chicago to replace Marc Trestman who goes to Baltimore to replace Gary Kubiak who was hired to replace John Fox
Aint that neat and tidy Wonder what head coaching job Trestman will get next year |
Give me your thoughts on Trestman running the BAL offense, Droford. Please and thank you.
|
If he really is the "quarterback whisperer" then Flacco should have another career year. But Jay Cutlers performance under him has me doubting
|
Heard multiple stories that Jay Cutler is a headcase to work with.
|
Aftee reading further reports, it looks like the Colts reported this . I stand corrected.
|
Small twist to Deflate-Gate today had Aaron Rodgers publicly complaining the refs themselves deflate the balls too much. Believes most QBs in the league would rather have the balls be deflated more while he'd rather have them be inflated a lot more.
Also revealed Peyton Manning was the mastermind to why the ball and air rules were changed years ago. http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014...-air-footballs |
HOW MANY TIMES ARE THE PATRIOTS GOING TO BE ALLOWED TO BE CHEATING PIECES OF SHITS? I MEAN WHAT THE FUCK? COME ON!!!!
|
oh good, for a second I was worried the 2 weeks leading up to the Superbowl was going to be filled with terribly non-story filler
|
How embarrassing is it to be a Patriots fan right now. They didn't even have to cheat. They kicked the shit out of us! What an embarrassing organization.
|
Seriously would have been fine with any other team in the entire league going to the dance. It had to be the Seahawks.
|
Also. Maybe I'm really dumb. How does under inflating the football give the Pats an advantage? I'm legit asking
|
Might be the best for Belichick to retire after this season regardless if the Pats win the SB or not.
Too much of a dark cloud with him around and a chunk of the league has grown too paranoid with over-blowing things he didn't do wrong (ex. Ravens and the trick plays). Between this and what Rodgers revealed, wouldn't be surprised if the league goes back to full control over all game balls after this season. |

Patriots actually played better with the Colts balls than their own in the end. |
I imagine the punishable will be after the Super Bowl. I say it's they lose 2 draft picks this year.
|
I'm just wondering where the competitive advantage is if both teams are using the same balls.
|
Each team plays with their own game balls. This will probably change that.
|
Oh, alright. I see now. I figured that they all used the same ones.

Ya, really hate the week before the Superbowl week. Its the worst week in the football season by far.
On a side note, do they even have the pro bowl this year? Have literally heard 0 things about it. |
It's like fantasy football but in real life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Team Carter vs Team Irvin!!!!!!!!!!
|
Quote:
I can't speak on behalf of the Pats, but a lot of these 'girl' Seahawk fans are bandwagon jumpers. Not all, but many. Regardless - Seeing the Seahawks experience such great success these past few years has been tremendous for long time fans..........fans that have seen the Seahawks suffer quite greatly since their existence basically, along with the horrific 2006 Super Bowl screw job against the Steelers where the refs flat out sided with Pittsburgh. |

Only news was the NFL making the goal posts narrower and moving PAT spot back for the game. |
Belichek needs to be suspended from coaching the Superbowl and Kraft needs to grow a set and fire him.

This is why the Patriots will never be America's team.
|
Denver Post reporting Peyton Manning is coming back for at least one more season with the Broncos. Has until March 9th to officially make up his mind and pass the physical though.

Adam Gase followed John Fox to Chicago to be their new O.C.
Great. New unwanted head coach, future new Defensive Coordinator, future new Offensive Coordinator. I should be feeling good as a Broncos fan, right? Not. |

Tom Brady is having some sort of press conference today. Wonder if he'll take the blame for the balls.
|
Tom Brady was playing with deflated balls a long time ago when he let Jizzhead fit him with a fresh set of titty pink Uggs.
|
So how many times do the Patriots get to be involved in scandals before it starts degrading their legacy? I've long though Bellicheck was the best coach ever....now I'm starting to wonder how much of the time his teams spent figuring out ways to skirt the rules and/or outright cheat without getting caught.
Either way, considering the punishment Sean Payton got for bountygate, even though he was said to have no direct involvement, if Bill isn't suspended for the entirety of next season it is pure shenanigans. Remember what you said to Sean, Goodell; "You're the coach, if you didn't know it was going on, you should have." |
Quote:
Besides what Goddell said to Payton was blown up in his face with the Ray Rice video scandal. He has no leg to stand on using that as a heavy punishment basis. |
I'm gonna make a poop that's significantly bigger than my butthole, so I guess it poop labor. But I'm gonna comment on this when I get back. Brb.
|
Quote:
The difference is this: The Saints were assholes, The Patriots are cheaters. |
Patriots need to be punished worse [than they were for Spygate] for two reasons:
1. This is at least the second time they've been caught breaking the rules. 2. They were just caught cheating during a game. It's not an accusation or an allegation, it's a fact. The team was caught breaking the rules. Staff members should be suspended for this, Belichick included, ideally starting with the Superbowl. |
The best would be if NE got pulled from the Superbowl. It wouldn't happen because NFL, but it would send a clear message.
|
"I think we all know that quarterbacks, kickers, specialists have certain preferences on the footballs," Belichick said. "They know a lot more than I do. They're a lot more sensitive to it than I am. I hear them comment on it from time to time, but I can tell you, and they will tell you, that there's never any sympathy whatsoever from me on that subject. Zero.
"Tom's personal preferences on his footballs are something that he can talk about in much better detail and information than I could possibly provide." How's that bus feel Brady? You know what. The Patriots and Belicheat are so smarter than this. I hope there are some reporters that have the balls the unleash hell on Brady right now. This is soo planned by Belicheat. I cant stand this dishonest organization. I've lost any respect. I know the Colts would have lost regardless, but it doesn't matter. These guys were planning to cheat anyways. This is a fucking joke. Goodall should be embarrassed, but most importantly, the Pats fan base should be sooooooo embarrassed right now. I don't even know how they can stay proud and I really feel sorry form them. They're good fans. And these cheating fucks have ruined a legacy. |

Bob Kraft needs to save face here. He seems like a decent man honestly. He needs to make a stand before he dies with all this cheating, dishonest bullshit hovering over him. Belichek is forming Krafts legact right now and it don't look good at all. Step up Kraft! Don't let this guy coach the Superbowl. Let Brady win it without this no good bastard and save his legacy too. This is fucking sad really.
|
this is a joke!
|
No matter how many rings this team gets, everyone outside of New England will forever remember the cheating.

The NFL has not talked to Brady yet???????
Roger Goodell... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-NYJjoT-A8C...piven-gtfo.gif |
I find it funny the Ravens ratted them out to the Colts after noticing the balls were light in the Ravens game
|
"I feel like I have always played within the rules. I would never break the rules."
Except that whole Spygate thing that you apparently used to form a gameplan from and eventually went to a Superbowl...but we'll never know because good old Roger destroyed the tapes because he's the most incompetent Commissioner in the history of all sports. Gary Bettman don't even know what the fuck Roger Goodell is doing anymore. |
Bud Selig could stop the All- Star game for 2 hours so he can go take a massive shit and fuck Vietnamese hookers, and he would still come out a shinier turd than Roger Fucking Goodell.

wait did someone in hear seriously just say that the Patriots using deflated footballs was worse than Gregg Williams' Saints bounty program
like did I read that right please tell me I did not |
also lol @ anyone who thinks that Bellichek is the only coach in the NFL who does shady things
literally every coach on every team does shit like that, the Patriots are just such an easy target to go after and form some narrative about, and I'm saying this as someone who hates obnoxious Pats fans more than anything. so ridiculous |
and why am I still commenting on this, damn you media for sucking me in again

I'm nervous about this year's Super Bowl.
My heart is with Seattle, but I've got a bad feeling that the Pats take this one. Then again - I had the same fears with Seattle/Denver last year and so........... |
Truthfully, I don't want Tom Brady to have any involvement in this. I have a ton of respect for him. But then I hear a quote like " I didn't have any uhhhh.. I didn't doctor any balls "
Come on dude. You have a chance to absolve all involvement. Seriously? |
45-7 is 45-7. It's the intention and the history and the integrity. I really hope Belichek and Brady are being truthful. I don't want to hear about some " rogue ballboy " in the next few days. I'll be irate !Seriously, I'm going to bed trying my best to give the benefit of the doubt to these guys. I'm trying really hard. I have no clue how Goodell has not talked to Brady. Utterly ridiculous and I hope everyone is talking about that too tomorrow morning.
|
Serious prediction. Roger Goodell steps down as commissioner of the Nfl before next season.
|
Wait. Are they trying to claim that Brady/Patriots deflated the balls in the Ravens game? Seriously? Hope the Patriots win just so Brady and be like "Fuck you all. Hate all you want but I am a beast."

"We tested out the whole #deflategate here at @triconsportsinc we used a Nike football and blew it up to 11psi (not NFL specs) placed the football outside at 4pm, at 5:45 we checked the PSI...take a look for yourself! #GoPats #Patriots" Trion Sports from Facebook.
Image Won't Embed: https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...076efbf25b2243 https://www.facebook.com/triconsportsinc 11 PSI to 9.6 PSI in an hour and 45 minutes. |
Ravens released Terrence Cody amid allegations of animal cruelty committed.

Math is hard and all, but the legal range has a 1 PSI difference. 12.5 to 13.5 Pats balls were found to be around 2 PSI short. Colts balls were found to all be within the legal limits (they did not announce the measured PSI of the Colts balls yet that I've seen. Only that they were legal.)
So even if the Colts filled their balls to the max limit, which we don't know of yet, and the Pats were to fill theirs to the lowest legal limit, which seems to be the indication according to Brady's clarification of his 2011 interview about him liking deflated balls (he clarified by saying he likes balls to be 12.5 PSI), where does the 1 PSI discrepancy come into play? (A note.. if they were filled higher than 12.5, then this would mean there was more than 2 PSI -lost- through this whole process, creating an even bigger discrepancy) Colts balls would have been just as affected by the weather and being used. Yet theirs, when measured, couldn't have been less than 12.5, as they were all found to be legal. Meaning at most, they had a 1 PSI drop in pressure. The Patriot balls on the other hand, have repeatedly been said to have been approximately 2 PSI short, indicating a much higher loss in the same conditions. Now, consider that we don't know what the Colts balls measured at... what if they weren't even filled to the max pressure at first? What if they were in the middle, or even at the lower end of the spectrum? This would mean they lost even less air than is being assumed. So how do they account for the discrepancy? |
|
I still think someone on or involved with the Patriots, tried to cheat, but I'll be honest..For some reason I believed Belichek today.
|
Im joking. I don't believe him at all. I love him talking about how he's handled a lot of balls. Lol
|
Some ballboy is getting promoted to assistant head coach for the Pats next year for sure.
|
" I've felt the texture of the balls!"
|
From the perspective of a Seahawks fan, how great would it be for Russell Wilson's legacy if he ended up beating Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in back-to-back Super Bowl's.
Two living legends passing the torch to a legend in the making. |
I agree. Even as a Patriots fan that would be a great moment for Russel Wilson. He's not the greatest QB but he has a great team and he never loses the game for his team. Great clock management and great at the two-minute drill when the game is on the line.
|
If he throws 4 picks against New England, he'll get what Peyton got last year.
|
|
Blaming the weather is laughable since all 12 of the Colts balls were "legal" throughout the game
Still funny to hear these guys talking about rubbing balls. I would have cracked up during an interview already, probably. |
