Mutu is now saying he only took drugs to boost his sex life.

Probably couldn't get it up because he was snorting too much blow. Man, this dude is a fu</>cking idiot.

Cool. What's his number?

I'll remember and kill him while I'm at it so we can have someone with half a brain in control of FIFA.

El Capitano Gatisto 10-22-2004 02:45 PM

You think FIFA would vote in a replacement with half a brain? No chance, the guy who gets in is the one who lines up the best hookers on the jaunts to tropical islands.

Rob 10-22-2004 03:06 PM

I'm in then :shifty:

Mr. Monday Morning 10-22-2004 03:32 PM

It depends on the amount...if they can get someone on intent to supply they will

At least Rio stuck to his story.

Mr. Monday Morning 10-23-2004 10:37 AM

LOL it took them weeks to figure out what Rio's story was :p

Leave me out. We all know the score within 2 days. And Rio's story hasn't change at all to this day.

Wengerland 10-23-2004 03:34 PM

3 games under Bassett, 3 leads lost :|

Beckham got off without punishment for that deliberate booking thing but it's not likely the FA would properly punish the England captain, considering they also failed to do so when Shearer kicked Lennon in the face about 6 years ago.

Danny Electric 10-23-2004 03:43 PM

I don't want Beckham to be punished. As much as he pisses me off, he's an influential player in our team and I want him to be there.

Mr. Monday Morning 10-23-2004 04:21 PM

Why not? So he can be a prat again and get suspended for a game that matters?

Danny Electric 10-23-2004 04:35 PM

I think that we have more imprtnat games coming up but I don't want him suspended. He got the 2 bbokings out of the way, now let's concentrate on the football and qualify.

Wengerland 10-23-2004 04:41 PM

A warning is enough really, he just shouldn't have admitted it.

Great performance from Liverpool, really should have won by more.

That's what I think, he was an idiot for admitting it. If he would have just kept quiet then this wouldn't have hapenned.

Leeds lost apparently - bugger

Plus I doubt Mutu admitted doing coacaine if he has now said it was sex enhancing drugs,

Dazz 10-23-2004 11:29 PM

Oh and LOL at Gudjohnsen scoring a hat trick. I always had faith in him. Shows Mourinho did the right thing to stay loyal to him. Mind you, IMO Kezman worked MUCH harder in the 20 minutes he was on then Eidur in the 70 minutes he wass on for. I felt really bad for Kezman when he hit the bar, the guy can do everything but score, good to see the fans singing "Come on Kezman, Come on Kezman" and him clapping us and putting his thumb up, then us clapping him back. Second time we did it he started worshipping us . Before anyone else says it, at the moment he acts like a Forlan. But I can't wait till he gets a few under his belt.

Robben is the man

Oxstar 10-24-2004 08:01 AM

Crystal Palace 3 West Brom 0

Andy Johnson for England. Come on you Eagles, i liked Chelsea's formation yesterday, Batman and Robin will be the goods soon.

Wengerland 10-24-2004 09:07 AM

I wouldn't be worried about Kezman, anyone who betters van Nistelrooy's record for PSV can't be bad.

Mr. Monday Morning 10-24-2004 11:20 AM

Kezman is the man, he hasn't exactly messed up as bad as some people have been saying, I don't think he's played a full game for Chelsea this season so far. Plus, let's face it, before yesterday nobody else was banging in a shedload of goals either.

Dazz 10-24-2004 11:30 AM

Yeah it's just a matter of time before he finds his feet, but at the moment you've just gotta feel sorry for him.

El Capitano Gatisto 10-24-2004 12:21 PM

Kezman is much more confident than Forlan and cockier. He'll do well eventually, given the chance.

He was really unlucky yesterday with the chance that hit the bar. If you're on form, you step up and put your foot through that, rifle it into the net. When you're not scoring, it bobbles up and comes off your shin. Kezman's record speaks for itself.

Wengerland 10-24-2004 01:15 PM

That Southampton/Birmingham game was terrible.

Feel sorry for Heskey, he just had no support despite winning almost every aerial challenge.

jerichoholic169 10-24-2004 01:22 PM

this game is going to be good. i hope there's no repeat of last year's rubbish and it'll be a seven goal thriller - i can hope at least!!

come on united!!

Wengerland 10-24-2004 01:25 PM

It will seem like the greatest game ever for me, having just watched that last game.

Ferocious 10-24-2004 02:47 PM

I can only get odds of 3-1 on Stewart Downing playing for England before the World Cup.

Best English Left Sided Midfielder in the last 15 years easily.

jerichoholic169 10-24-2004 03:18 PM

bye bye arsenal's unbeaten record...go rooney!!

Wengerland 10-24-2004 03:24 PM

Not really a penalty but congrats Man Utd, also to Arsenal for the unbeaten run.

LK 10-24-2004 03:44 PM

2-0 YES!

Dazz 10-24-2004 04:39 PM

LOL at Nistelrooy pushing Lehmann, I hate RvN but its always funny to see someone do it to Lehmann, he truely deserves it.

Might not have been a penalty but The Fake Ronaldo should have got one later on when Ashley Cole slid him by the byline.

United defended really well and Rooney getting a penalty for diving didn't exactly please me but since Arsenal dive I guess what goes around comes around.

Thoughts for the league title? I'm going for United, and not because they played well today, but because they are the best team in the league. I have said since June that they will win the league and I am sticking by that.

Wengerland 10-24-2004 04:42 PM

Still Arsenal for me.

Mr. Monday Morning 10-24-2004 06:38 PM

Yeah, I'd have to go with Arsenal as well. United will make up ground but I just think they've left themselves a bit too much to do this time.

Cactus Sid 10-24-2004 07:10 PM

Arsenal all the way.

Mr. Monday Morning 10-24-2004 08:17 PM

K having just seen the BBC highlights (love how they still completely refuse to come down off the fence for *anything* )

-Ferdinand should've been off, there's no way that was not a foul

-Van Nistelrooy should be suspended just as Redknapp was not so long ago. It was just a bad a hack as Redknapp's, maybe worse as there's no way he was going for the ball.

-Rooney dived. Anyone with eyes can see that. However, Cole on Ronaldo definitely was a penalty, so in that sense it evened out.

jerichoholic169 10-24-2004 09:38 PM

well ive got to say that mike riley really shouldnt be allowed to ref utd matches anymore. every game he refs for us he gives us really dodgy decisions - isnt it something like 8 penalties in 8 games now??

rooney went down but the angle the ref had it did look like campbell caught him. and rio is the luckiest guy in manchester tonight. the only way he couldn't have got sent off is because freddie kicked the ball too far before he went down.

however this is the sort of thing that can change seasons on their heads. to be honest i cant see arsenal screwing up and not winning the title but stranger things have happend. be interesting to see whether a) arsenal can come back from what is a moral crushing loss, and b) whether united can take this result and go on from it and get a winning streak going.

Exactly, I thought it was a penalty first time too.

United don't get players sent off at home, simple as. Like last season when Chelsea went their at the end of the season and had Scholes been rightfully sent off (was booked for diving) after fouling Lampard from behind, then he would have missed the final. And there is no doubt that it was a bookable offense.

When NEwcastle played their and someone (G Neville possibly) passed it back to Howard Shearer nipped in in front and got the ball, Howard kept swinging and swiped Shearer's legs by accident. Had Shearer dived he should have been booked, had Shearer not dived then it should have been a penalty, instead neither was awarded.

I would give other examples if I could remember them, but I'd like to see the stats on things like United players sent off at OT, penalties awarded to ManYoo and penalties awarded to opposition.

Wengerland 10-24-2004 10:30 PM

Well there was that old 10 years without conceding a penalty at home in the league one, i think that was broken last year by Steed Malbranque scoring one or at least Danny Murphy's.
