You can preload it now if you bought it on PSN. All 18GB of it.

EDIT: Possibly just in Europe

Drakul 08-23-2013 07:50 AM

Here is an image of the Banshee from the post above. No word on if this was it in the process of customisation or if it was completed at that moment in time.
Still no idea how you actually win it, either.

Just found out I can delete stuff in the game utilities folder. 32 gigs of free space avail now :)

It's going to be a pain trying to avoid that info. Especially when someone tries to be "hilarious" and post it everywhere.

No idea what they thought would happen letting people preload the game.

Mooияakeя™ 08-24-2013 12:56 PM

The fuck is that real life Banshee based on? What have they customised?

It's TPWW, so I kind of expect to have it spoiled in a week.

Thankfully, it's TPWW, a site that conditioned me to not care almost a decade ago.

Something called a Bravado. I've no clue about anything car related.

Kalyx triaD 08-24-2013 07:26 PM

Gonna be on GTA Online 100% of the time anyway.

Emperor Smeat 08-24-2013 07:35 PM

Supposedly most if not all of the recently leaked GTA V spoiler stuff appeared to have originated from PSN in Europe due to a mistake by Sony.

Quote:

You can check out the statement from Sony below, as it appears on the PlayStation Blog:

"Regrettably, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto V through the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTA V assets. These assets were posted online. We have since removed the digital pre-order file from the PlayStation Store in Europe. We sincerely apologize to Rockstar and GTA fans across the world who were exposed to the spoiler content. GTA V is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year with a very passionate following, and we’re looking forward to a historic launch on September 17."

I don't believe those have been posted, but apologies if they have and I somehow missed it in my usual boneheaded manner.

Mooияakeя™ 08-26-2013 07:52 AM

Soundtrack is fucking weak as hell.

Worst GTA one I've seen if the leak is true.

RoXer 08-26-2013 12:06 PM

Based on what's leaked the classic rock looks kinda weak and punk looks a little thin. That's about it.

Savio 08-26-2013 01:53 PM

Where is the soundtrack listed.

The Destroyer 08-26-2013 02:06 PM

Various places. First one I found:

The Destroyer 08-26-2013 02:06 PM

Yeah that really wasn't hard.

Savio 08-26-2013 02:27 PM

Lots of places get blocked at my work :/

Kane Knight 08-26-2013 03:11 PM

These are pretty sparse for a GTA soundtrack, yes?

This sounds interesting, if I'm understanding it correctly. It seems like they're pushing it as close to "RPG" as they can without it actually becoming one.

Kane Knight 08-26-2013 06:39 PM

I'm not sure how much I like it, but it doesn't look like it's going to hurt anyway, so :y:

Not surprising since a radio would have current things on them and music sucks today.

Vice City was set in the 80s when music was better along with San Andreas set in the early 90s.

I barley remember the soundtrack from GTAIV but it was probably similarly shitty. All I remember is Katt Williams and Ricky Gervais stand up. Do they have something like that in the new game?

Heisenberg 08-26-2013 11:09 PM

What about GTA for Playstation, taking the disc out and placing a CD in the Playstation to jam the hell out.

I appreciated that

Kalyx triaD 08-26-2013 11:30 PM

It's called custom soundtracks now.

I'd just like to be able to load music from the HDD of my console/PC and use that.

I was disappointed when I put Burnout Paradise on my computer and found that option appeared to be missing. I mean, I could always load it up in WMP or something, but that means it drowns out any speech.

The attitude seems to be "we licensed this music, so you're fucking well going to listen to it."

Ah well. Sure I can find something I like, no matter the soundtrack.

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-27-2013 12:48 AM

For the most part i listen to the comedy/talk radio stuff more than the music. When i was replaying Vice City i usually was listening to Pressing Issues with Maurice Chavez.

In GTA 1, I just listen to whatever happened to play in the car I was driving. In GTA 2, I would listen to Lithium FM or KGBH with Bomba-Tomba.

In GTA III, I was pretty much listening to Chatterbox the entire time. V-Rock in Vice City, Radio X in San Andreas and Vladivostok in IV.

I'd love to hear Sage from San Andreas as a DJ in V. Maybe as someone who wont let go of the 90's and her youth despite being around 40 years old.

I'm wondering what Laslow will be doing.

Savio 08-28-2013 09:43 AM

Hate that they put Lazlow on the rock station in Vice City, should have been on a talk show.

Drakul 08-28-2013 04:58 PM

Crews now have hierarchies.

Quote:

http://media.rockstargames.com/rocks...1377442028.jpg

•Commissioners: The Crew’s most trusted member(s) - that essential right-hand man or woman that the Leader relies on for Vice Presidential advisement and executive action. Commissioners have the power to manage and administrate all aspects of the Crew on behalf of the Leader, including the ability to promote members internally or invite new members in.

•Lieutenants: Made members with specific privileges to keep the Crew in check and hand out promotions or demotions amongst sub-ordinate ranks. Crew Representatives and the mob of Muscle would be wise to keep their Lieutenants (and above) sweet.

•Representatives: A tier of Crew members who have shown and proved their commitment to the clique - whether with ace performance in competitive modes, or just by rocking their Crew's emblem faithfully since day one. Crew Leaders can assign these special players as Representatives who will have basic permissions to aid recruitment efforts.

•Muscle: The rank-and-file mob of Crew members who are happy to play their position of causing some havoc Online, doing their Crew's emblem justice and fighting for its good name. Muscle-level members may not have nor want any administrative power but they're often the heart and soul of what makes your Crew fearsome. Ambitious Muscle who are looking to prove themselves to the Crew Leader and rise up the ranks may even prove a threat to their Crew superiors, if any are deemed to be slacking on their responsibilities or performance.

Integrity 2.0 in IV is pretty hilarious.
