Just finished watching Royal Rumble '05 and forgot that Vince Nash'd both his quads sliding into the ring :'(
|
I love how Vince couldn't get up to tell anyone anything, yet Fink automatically knew what Vince had instructed them to do with the match. :y:

Wrong forum?

Nah, just missing the pun of the joke I think.

May 19th is also the day when Mark Callous defeated Johnny Ace via pinfall at the 10:41 mark in the 2nd bout of the NWA Capital Combat PPV.
Classic. |
Undertaker should've kept the Mark Callous name. His catchphrase could've been "I'm Mark Callous, and I don't give a fuck!"
|
during the Attitude Era of course
|
you could say fuck during the Attitude Era right?
|
oh you couldn't?

You should be, that whole Kane-Fake Kane angle was quite scary (bad).

|
did they ever actually come out and say HEY we just did this gimmick because Kane has a movie coming out that day
|

See No Evil was actually WWE Film's biggest success, all that random marketing worked. It also led to the birth of Festus who became then the late, not-so-great Luke Gallows. I guess it was a win-win for WWE :-\

Dunno if anybody's pointed this out but
*RANDOM WRESTLING NERD FACTOID #237,859*: Randy Orton was drafted from RAW, to SmackDown! on April 25th, 2011, 9 years after he "officially" debuted in WWE, also on SmackDown!, on April 25th, 2002. Happy 9th WWE Anniversary, Viper! |

Hmmmm. Think I preferred "Cody Rhodes Mark" Shadrick to "Tazz Dan Mark" Shadrick.
Dunno. Maybe the gimmick will grow on me :-\. |

Gallows did an amazing job doing the Kane gimmick. Even though he was not as big or muscular as Kane, he had his move set/selling/movements down exactly.
