Also, I agree with you sort of but at the same time I can see why the 'Hawks went for it. You need two scores either way, and yeah you could get an easy FG but you'd still need to get the ball back and drive down the field for a TD anyway, which is pretty unlikely anyway. One of those "rock and a hard place" situations.

Yeah but by kicking the FG, you are at least giving yourself the chance to get the ball back.. By going for it on forth, in FG range, you pretty much eliminate all chances of getting the ball back, if you don't get the TD/1st down..

omggg 5 days away from being in Qwest!!!

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-16-2007 05:56 PM

All he was doing was questioning the Saints play calling down the stretch, I don't get what the Seahawks play calling had to do with it. Also I don't see how that makes him a hater

RP 10-16-2007 06:22 PM

Real men score touchdowns

OssMan 10-16-2007 07:48 PM

omg chargers traded a 2nd rounder to miami for chris chambers! that is huge, i thought chambers was an awesome WR who was worth more than a second round pick.

Crimson 10-16-2007 09:55 PM

He is certainly worth more than Randy Moss

mrslackalack 10-16-2007 10:07 PM

Chambers is a pretty good WR. He gets the receptions and yards, his only problem though is lack of TDs.

mrslackalack 10-16-2007 10:10 PM

I wonder if this means the Dolphins are going to pass it more to Ted Ginn now since Chambers got traded.

weather vane 10-17-2007 01:11 AM

fuck me....

SammyG 10-17-2007 03:36 AM

Dolphins are retarded for doing that trade. Must be a tough time to be Evan Spillchuk.

Hanso Amore 10-17-2007 06:50 AM

Chamberts is a decent deep threat, a solid reciever. By no way elite, and he is not worth a second. SD must be desperate. Moss was only worth a 4th.

Gonzo 10-17-2007 08:35 AM

Not worth a 2nd round pick imo.

B/c to me, the Hawks calls at the end of that game where hella more questionable than a few pass plays while trying to run out the clock when A) Reggie Bush had already touched the ball more times than he did in half the season last year and B) Brees was on fire..

If you couldn't see that the "hater" comment was sarcastic you are a dumb motherfucker..

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-17-2007 10:44 AM

Even though you constantly say shit like that, I guess I am a dumb motherfucker since I couldn't tell you where being sarcastic

Dolphins just packing it in this season, guess they want to get Teddy Ginn the ball more. Lemon to Ginn all day? Doubt it

oh my god. Who does this guy think he is? Fucking any chance they get they fucking cheat. Why dont Tom brady just take a knife on the field and slice the achilles of any defensive lineman who sacks him? For fucks sake can we play some honest football!

Nah honestly the NO/Seattle game was like the only game I got to fully watch this weekend, and I just really hate when teams do that. Like just kill the clock and try to win, don't cost yourself the game.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-17-2007 08:47 PM

I think they fined him because its more of a safety issue, not because of the dumb uniform policy they have (might have said that in the article you posted but I didn't read it so yeah)

21 TD 2 INT

Y2Ant 10-17-2007 08:48 PM

I see people do low tackles at people's knees all the time and not get called, does it have to be a certain kind of low tackle to be a chop block or whatever, never understood that.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 10-17-2007 08:57 PM

Well a defender can dive at your knees all he wants.

An offensive player is allowed to throw a block at your knees as long as the defender isn't engaged with another offensive player, and you can't come at the defender's knees from behind. I'm not sure about how far down field they can take place in the NFL. I know in high school we were allowed to go down field and cut linebackers if we wanted to

I KNEW HE CHEATED! THAT'S WHY WE LOST!! OF COURSE YOU CAN THROW 5 TD PASSES WHEN YOUR CHIN IS HANGING FREE AND COMFORTABLE!!!

Oh wait, I thought I was a Jets fan there for a second. :)

SammyG 10-18-2007 12:11 PM

One of the best articles I have ever read.

Is that really one of the best articles you've ever read? If so.......

I am with you, I'm just saying, if Deuce wasn't hurt, and if Reggie hadn't already touched the ball like 25 times already, I would completely agree..

McDoogle 10-18-2007 06:15 PM

Comming soon, the Toronto Bills. Probably not but goddamn I wish. Im tired of going to Buffalo. It smells there.

road doggy dogg 10-18-2007 08:03 PM

True story; when I was going to New York a few years back, I took a bus home. Consequently, I took a small excursion through Buffalo. My greatest memory from the city was when we drove past a cemetery that was advertising a "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE" deal for plots. Most ROFL thing I've ever had the chance to witness.

Did you have to sit next to some kid with purple hair, next to some queer with AIDS right next to some dude who just got out of prison for the fourth time right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids?

road doggy dogg 10-18-2007 08:44 PM

Ummmmm........................ maybe.

Wow, there really isn't much for a Falcons fan to grasp onto is their?

6 carries, 87yards.

Take away the 1 for 67yds and he was 5 for 20, a 4yd avg.

oh yeah and it was a 31-10 loss, so I really don't think anyone on the Falcons was "high stepping"...

Ok, so your a Falcons fan... explain to me something, as bad as their doing, why don't they just give Norwood the ball 20-30times and see what he can do?
