Still bugs me how WWE started jobbing Brodus Clay left and right instead of keeping him looking like the badass he physically looks like he could and should be.

TNA put more effort into his character model because he was in WWE.

TNA's video game worked really hard on the character models. I think they brought in every wrestler to do some sort of scan. Working that hard on each character, though, meant that there was a lack of work in making the game actually good. Not that I have played it. I just hear tell that it looks great but sucks to play.

Yeah, Impact looked spectacular, but played worse than pretty much any game I've ever played. It reminded me, honestly, of the old Super Nintendo WWF games where everyone had the same moveset except for a finisher, although I'm not entirely positive all of the TNA guys actually had their finishers. I owned it for about a week, just because I found a copy for $1 somewhere, but I returned it before I was even done with the "story." Awful awful game.

If TNA could put forward a great video game, that would be a great way for them to get more attention as a company. Playing as old favourties like Hulk Hogan, Sting, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy with a great game engine, and introducing people to the likes of Austin Aries, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Bobby Roode, James Storm, etc. could get them coverage on websites like IGN and the like. Open them up to a new breed of geek.

Kevin Matthews' Twitter beef with Bill DeMott is making me want to see DeMott take over a show as General Manager and make it a "DeMottcracy."

Should have done what I think Yukes does (or did before the engine rehaul) and just have a team dedicated to just scanning while everyone else works on the actual game.

TNA's game was all about graphics and not about gameplay. The graphics on that game were unbelievable, but the game itself was unbelievably bad.
