Goldust gave Maryse the note! She’s a gold digger… he’s Goldust… what more do you need? That would be awesome.

It would make more sense if John Morrison is in the Six Pack Challenge now that Chris Jericho is out. That would’ve gave Morrison more incentive to win.

Having Morrison of all people to win the WWE Championship in an upset only to be robbed in the end by The Miz would be one of the most ideal directions they could go and it would be priceless at that.

I might have to pull a swerve next week to have this Cena/Orton match not happen. Now that they are both face, a meeting between the two has potential to be bigger than ever, and should definitely be happening at a PPV and not free on TV.

Edge was pretty hilarious tonight.

Not sure what is going on with Jericho. Optimistic me says that he is sticking around and that this is the start of a face turn for him.

If anything, considering how ridiculously over Orto has gotten since the fans turned him face, they shoould save Cena/Orton for WrestleMania next year.

Just keep building Orton and Cena up, and have one of them, preferably Cena, win the title a couple of months before Mania. Have them cross paths a couple times, like at Elimination Chamber, where one costs the other the title.

With both being the two top faces in the company, and with that kind of dynamic not happening at Mania in ages, they should hold off rushing into anything and let the build happen for Mania

While I like the idea, i don't think Morrison randomly winning the title without any build, only to lose it seconds later, would have the payoff it deserves.

Am I the only wo thinks Morrison winning the belt randomly only to lose to the Miz seconds later is a bad idea at this moment in time?

XCaliber 09-07-2010 12:48 AM

Actually quite the opposite it would finally thrust them into the main event picture at the same time and we could end up possibly seeing more great matches between them.

I think Darren Young had a lot of nerve to go to the ring and call himself the missing link.

If Morrison wasn't so low on the card and actually had some consistent, long term momentum behind him, then yes, I could see where you're coming from. But we are talking about a guy who hasn't done anything on Raw of relevance.

Not to say he couldn't, but I think he needs to be built up more have a few upper mid card programs to get him over before he gets a 2 second title reign.

I agree that the matches would be stellar. But I don't think Morrison has enough steam behind him yet to be on that level. Kayfabe wise, Miz is miles ahead of JoMo right now.

The Miz is already a main event act. He just doesn't have the title to go with yet, but he is the top heel on Raw. I don't care that Sheamus has the belt, no heel is hotter than the Miz right now.

Raw wasn't half bad tonight. There was a lot of sloppiness though. Miz and Bryan was great. A-RI sighting=ratings. Morrison is in my opinion better then Miz. He had an awesome match with Jericho, but who doesn't really? When Josh asked Jericho "What will you do now?" A guy in the audience started a TNA chant that was very audible.lol. WWE helped out TNA again with the WWE classics moment. The divas suck...and not in a good way.(like Lita!) Edge/Khali was pointless, stupid, boring etc. Young is with Nexus. Barrett wins the belt at NOC. Finally, why the fuck do I have to watch SuperCena vs. Robot Orton....again!? And it's raw roulette,so there will be a stip. Problem is they have done almost every damn match type against each other. Unless they bust out the bullrope I don't know what else they can do. Raw gets a 6 out of 10. For laziness as usual and botches throughout. Y2J for TNA! I'm starting the grassroots campaign right here, right now.

I agree. It would crowd the main event lineup right now. We have Cena, Sheamus, Orton, Barrett, Edge, and Jericho all in contention for the title right now, and Triple H should be coming back pretty soon. If you add both Morrison and Miz to the main event circle it would become huge. At every PPV there'd be 8-9 different guys in legitimate contention for the title. While for fans that sounds awesome, for the WWE writers it would add a lot of burden on them because they'd have to write so many different story lines as to why Sheamus isn't currently going after the title, or Orton, or Cena, or anyone else. You get what I mean.
