Great comedy match. Ryder was great, but he's no Santino.

Was waiting all week to see Zack's footage of his RAW appearance.

Also, Zack Ryder's Dad = Ratings

rofl @ broski in a bottle
|
The Cold Feet gig was nice. Pretty cool that Zack was filming the same time RAW was and we got the broski pound.
The man is gold. |
The signoff was a great idea. Some one in creative or probably John Cena himself is pushing for Ryder.
|
Fuck me this was awesome
|
So I know a few of yall on here were talking about changing the site to tpwww (The People's Woo Woo Woo)
Is this still gonna happen or what? |
Funny episode Zack Ryder for US Champion!
|
Amazing.
I don't know what more this guy has to do to get a shot on Raw. He's got signs night in and night out, and his show is priceless. Please, oh please, get Ryder on the mic and in the ring on Mondays. |

Anyone else think a Ryder/Cena alliance, only to have it broken up by the Big O sometime down the line, is a good idea?
|
No it is not a good idea. Ryder is irrelevant. Just another no named cock sucker that the IWC is in love with because of how invalid and moot the guy really is.

Tazz Dan, what number broski is next in line? Damian Rey needs a new one liner under the old avatar.

Take a shot every time SaskatchewanChamp uses the word "moot".

Huh, so that's why he's been with Cena the last few weeks in promo's leading to Cena's entrance, getting Ryder's shirt, fist pumping, and saying what's up on TV. (Which if WWE truly thought Ryder wasn't worth it, they wouldn't have made a shirt for him.) He's getting over huge on the net, the fans prove it as well on Live RAW. Obviously WWE thinks there is something there for him. I think you're just jealous you aren't Zack Ryder. |
I think he's starting to gain momentum. The shows popularity has carried over into the arenas. There is no way that the WWE brass haven't seen the signs in the crowd week in, week out. These are only small steps but with his show likely going to wwe.com and the constant linking of him with Cena on-screen (which I actually think is Cena's doing, so props to him) I see the Ryder Revolution happening soon.
|
Also, the radio skit was incredible.

(I should join twitter just to send that to Ryder, I think he'd appreciate the word play.) |
To be honest, and I know this gets said a lot, but this is seriously the funniest one yet.
Broski in a bottle = fuckin comedy. |
I love how Zack's Dad is writing his letter in giant words with a red marker. And that he signs it as "Zack's Dad".
|
God that cold feet stuff/him on tv thing was classic.
|
Zack's dad should be father of the year or something. Hawkins said on AOW that Zack had his dad drive out to Toys R Us to get him some Wrestlemania collectible figures before Hawkins could get to them when they were training together.
|
I was at the doctor's this morning, he's a younger guy, and he asked me something to which I replied, "Are you serious bro?" He replied, "WWWYKI!" Awesome!

I think I'd like to see the "WWE gags" used as vignettes on Raw leading to a push for Ryder.
Imagine midway through Raw we cut to "This is the WWE. This is Zack Ryder." etc. |
That would actually be awesome.

Thinking of getting a custom plate for my car. Which sounds better?
WWWYKI 1 or ZAKPAK1 |
WWWYKI 1.
I think Ryder actually had a custome plate for his car that reads "WWWYKI". I'm sure I've seen it in one of his videos. Get "WWWYKI 1" and be just like him. |

I shall dub my car the Zack Mobile. Maybe put some custom graphics on the back that say Ryder or Riot! |
Austin I guess tweeted that Ryder has a big future ahead of him today.
Love it |
About time Austin recognized this.

ZackRyder Zack Ryder
Thanks to @HEELZiggler for all the nice things he said about me on Raw. But I wouldn't leave him alone with my girlfriend though. |
guys remember how The Rock started out, he looked like a goofball with curly hair, comical eyebrow, $500 shirts, elvis sideburns, and was fat and had man boobs but he evolved into Dwayne Johnson
Zack Ryder is on the right path TO GREATNESS. As long as his work ethic is good and his attitude is good, I see him eventually evolving from goofball guido into bonafied main event stud Also anyone notice Big O howling like a banshee? |
you gotta take the top stars of today and rewind their careers and take a look at them when they first started out
even Randy Orton looked like a tool. Same with Triple H. They all looked like fools. But eventually they turned themselves into gold |
They never had comedy gimmicks though. Much tougher to get out of a comedy gimmick, especially if it becomes popular.
|
So, I've noticed that I have been ending conversations/meetings with the phrase "Take Care" lately. Which I never used to say. Also, I have to fight the incredible urge to say "Spike your hair". I think I do "pronounce" the comma, though.
So I'm like "Alright. Take Care," And I guess whoever I'm talking to might expect something to follow, but I haven't let it slip out yet. |
LOL
That Miley Cyrus song is on the playlist at work and a couple nights ago I found myself singing along but using the "Party in the L.I." lyrics. Glad nobody caught me, either way that could have been embarrassing. |
Gonna start ending all my conversations with "Until next time... like me on Facebook... follow me on twitter..."

Z Ryder needs to make sure he keeps his material fresh prevent it from getting stale though
Quote:
Also, Big O needs to get signed...NOW. I don't care if he's not a wrestler. Just throw him in front of the mic and call it a day. He's got more charisma in his pinky finger than most of the guys on the roster combined Also, I'm not a big fan of Curt Hawkins..."The Party Starter". He's copying Shawn Michaels "The Showstopper" with that shit. Plus he's turning into a bitter Matt Hardy. He should be careful |
I don't recall Rocky Maivia being a comedy act before he became The Rock. As The Rock he may have done comical promos but he wasn't a "comedy act" like Ryder or Santino.
I think it's a stretch to compare the two. Even to compare him to HHH - who was doing out and out comedy as part of DX - is a stretch as the comedy was a different style. |
admit it though, when blue chipper Rocky Maivia came out with that curly hair and blue ribbons he might as well have been a comedy act
ok you win what I meant was that even though Ryder is a comedy act, he could still slowly progress to where he starts making fun of his opponents (instead of himself) and as long as he has the fan base, they will embrace Z as he evolves. He could be WWE's version of The Situation a few years down the line. WWE superstars are essentially characters. Z has the look and the size. Big O will be the Mankind to Zack's Rocky. The Goldust to Booker T. I can eventually see Z as a serious character who will frequently still do his "classic" references from time to time for nostalgia purposes |
I agree that Ryder has the skill set to step up. Hell, I think this thread proves that a lot of people here do. I also think that someone at WWE has caught on too. He may have lost on Raw but he had a decent showing and man did they push the hell out of his YouTube show - despite having no official connection to it at the moment.
I get what you're saying, that someone who wasn't taken all that seriously (Rocky Maivia) can become someone mega successful and in that you're right. |
He didn't get squashed by Kofi on Raw this week so this could be a good sign.
|
He did look good in the loss, and I'm glad for Z's sake that they didn't take the easy route and have Dolph interfere. That would have completely killed any momentum that Zack built in the match. He's currently at a "this close" to getting over on the more casual fans who haven't seen ZTLIS.

new ep coming tomorrow

Can't.....sleep....must....spike hair...

Z is gaining so much momentum, soon every superstar will wanna be "associated" with him in some shape or form.
Calling it right now: Z Ryda will be the next biggest star since John Cena. Back then people were posting threads asking "Who do you think will be the next big star after John Cena?" Some people said so and so and some people said this person is not in the WWE yet. Well folks, the answer is right under our noses. And his name is Zack Ryder. I predict him main eventing a WrestleMania in a couple of years Only thing he has to worry about is staying fresh and being able to evolve his gimmick once the whole Jersey Shore craze lays to rest. Like I said before, as long as his loyal fanbase continues to grow and stay in tact, he will be hard to ignore. And he's not like RVD in 2001, he is homegrown talent so I see no reason in Vince trying to hold him down. Let's just hope guys like Curt Hawkins doesn't hold him back. Z Ry has the right attitude and the business smarts, so it's only a matter of time. Plus he could work well as a heel and a face. I don't even know if I could go to sleep. Might as well stay up and pull an all-nighter waiting for the new episode Also just look at guys like Mankind and Big Show. In their initial phases, at first look, you would've never thought they'd be in a main event match at WrestleMania. |

This might be the most EPIC yet |
Awesome seeing the return of the Invi-Z-ble jump rope
|
Ok, which one of you was the Broski of the Week? That had to be someone here on TPWW.
|
Washing the raw egg down with BLL!

Inno, I'm not sure if that was the most epic one yet. It left me hungry for more Big O. There were better ones
Does anyone remember which episode has the most Big O coverage? Or the episode where Big O squeals like a banshee? |

I lol'ed when he was making his dog fist pump.

Can't wait for the next one already...damn you Zack Ryder!!

Lol I had to watch it again to find the action figures.

That was great, again.

Who in their right mind would be bored of Zack Ryder? Fuck off with that logic.

That still of Zack before you press play, with his hair all non-spiked, and the angle of the shot...
Makes him look like Daniel Bryan. This can only lead me to believe that if Daniel Bryan only spiked his hair, he would instantly have ten times more charisma. |
Will "____ should join Zack Ryder's stable" become the new IWC saying?!

You know it, bro!

From Wrestling Observer:
Meltzer was texted during the show by a WWE employee stating that the reason Zack was not on the show is because "Vince hates the internet". Backstage, many, many people were upset that the person getting the most chants throughout the night was not brought out for a promo or even a quick appearance in his hometown who clearly wanted him there. Meltzer got some more information today on the thought process. Evidently, it was indeed a rib/joke being played on Zack. Zack had spent his prior show talking up how he was in his hometown, how excited he was, how this could be his chance to finally shine and move up on the card. Zack was told a few days ago he would have a promo and a match on RAW and would turn face on RAW, even being able to acknowledge his youtube show and Internet Champion gimmick. This is why Zack was so excited the past few days. The rib went so far as there was even a fake script and timeline alloted for Zack to come out and wrestle, besides Superstars, with his RAW promo and on air face turn. When the time came close for this to happen, Zack was informed plans changed and he would not be on air. This was literally during the broadcast. The entire rib was Vince's idea and was because Vince is not a fan of the "bashing" Zack does about WWE and sees it as "giving in" to someone who is visibly bashing the company with "dropping ball" clips, etc. Meltzer comments that the real joke is on the fans, as the reaction to him not being on air is not pretty and as the rib is being revealed, even less people are happy. Multiple wrestlers have stated their public displeasure with the rib and John Cena was said to directly confront Vince over the situation and what he felt was a poor joke. --- Wow. Just...wow. :| |
If I were Ryder i'd be fist pumping Vince's face and tell him I quit.
|
Eventually Vince will cave. He let Matt Hardy back after that whole internet fiasco. Give it some time. Plus Cena has his back
As CM Punk says...Faith gotta admit though, Vince pulled a good one. Probably his best one yet |

I wouldn't doubt it's real seeing as they sent Mark Henry out for a dark match against Sin Cara a couple weeks ago, they planned for the match and everything. Instead Mark was left standing around 20 minutes as a bunch of themes were played before he got pissed off and left.
|
Reminds me of this. Kinda...
