According to the records, the search warrant that was executed on Hardy's home on 9/14 was a direct result of his girlfriend, Lucha Libre USA personality Rebecca "Reby Sky" Reyes dialing 911 over her concerns for Hardy's condition. The arrest report cites Reyes as describing Hardy as "strung out on pills."

When police arrived, they observed Hardy was in a bad way, described as "unsteady on his feet" and that he "had trouble speaking." There was no alcohol on his breath but authorities were aware that Hardy had taken something to put him into the state he was in.

Moore County EMS was called and due to Hardy's condition, they had him hospitalized. When the police returned to Hardy's home, Reyes explained that she had been living there for nine months and was aware Hardy did not have a legitimate prescription for Vicodin pills that were contained within a safe on his property. She also stated that she had seen him taking the pills.

Reyes handed over two keys that would open the safe and explained where it could be found on the property. Once police found the safe, they made the call to execute the search warrant, feeling it was a behavior similar to drug dealers in that there was contraband hidden on the property.

Hardy was not at home at the time the search warrant was executed (as he was in the hospital). He turned himself in yesterday to face the charges, so while he was technically charged on 9/14, he was not fingerprinted, etc. until last night due to his medical condition. That explains the public announcement of this latest arrest not coming out until this morning.

Confiscated from Hardy's home included empty round glass containers of blue locust extract, vials of a liquid substance, vial of "white powder substance", syringes, an empty "K2 Blend Packet", a "small blue pill" and just under $2,000 in cash.

TMZ.com published the arrest records, which note that Hardy was only released so he can go into a treatment program and should he fail to complete it, he will be remanded back to the Moore County Detention Center under $1,000,000 bond.

At same point before turning himself in, Hardy made arrangements to go to WWE and filmed the video announcing such that was placed online last night.

You know, thinking about it, I see this more as him doing damage control and hoping to get off easy (like Jeff did) by going to rehab and announcing it before this news came out than wanting to reform. Could he really want help? Yes. And either way I'm glad he is because he needs the help. But if he goes to rehab and falls back into his old ways within a month or so he'll be a bigger piece of shit to me than he already is.

I will regain faith in the justice system if they let Jeff off so easy and yet hang Matt out to dry, just like every place the two have worked.

I wonder if Jeff Hardy could convince Jarrett to let him use the "Chosen One" gimmick. Hm.

His videos online always made me cringe, but the guy has obviously lost his way somewhere along the line and this series of mishaps can all be tied together in a month where he completely bottomed out. Hopefully he is genuine and is really seeking help to a definate problem that he has realised that he has.

It is horrible to see anyone as the object of ridicule and obviously living an unhappy existence. Wish him all the best and it would be a nice end to all of this if he was able to put this behind him, open a school and finally find some peace outside of the ring.

If only he went to rehab when TNA said "hey you need to go to rehab."

Reby on the Jeff Hardy taser incident: "I have to laugh, because I guess just being in it, it was done for a project called the Hardy show, which you can find at thehardyshow.com. It’s a variety show with skits, and parodies and stuff like that, it’s kind of like a Jackass program. That was filmed for part of a Hardy show episode. And I guess with all the Jeff stuff that was going on at the time, and the way it was spun, it was in retrospect maybe not the best idea for people who aren’t aware of the Hardy show and the content that is on there. But like I said, from now on everyone is going to be a lot more careful with anything video wise or Twitter or anything going up on the net."

Reby on Matt Hardy returning to the ring: "A full time wrestling schedule is definitely not in the picture from now on. If you ask him, that’s what he will say led to this whole thing, the full time wrestling schedule and the toll on his body and the sacrifices he had to make. Not that I am justifying anything he has done, because I am definitely not. I will say it over and over I don’t support what he has done but I will support him in bettering himself."

Reby on Jeff’s return to the ring: "The whole thing with Jeff, we try not to talk about it to not make Matt feel bad, but everyone is very supportive of Jeff and very happy for him. It’s good that there is someone in the group doing good things, I don’t know how to say it. Jeff is completely 180, just a real standup guy and has been so supportive in trying to help Matt in getting things right. So thank God that he is right next to us, thank God for Jeff."

The most telling and interesting line out of that is "The whole thing with Jeff, we try not to talk about it to not make Matt feel bad", suggesting that Matt is indeed jealous of Jeff.

TMZ is reporting that Jeff Hardy checked into jail in North Carolina on 10/3 to serve the 10 day jail sentence that was part of the guilty plea he agreed to in order to settle his 2009 drug charges. He chose to serve his sentence and get it over with.

All of this is such a shame. Matt was always a better technician than Jeff and was always seen as "the responsible one." I suppose he was just never really laid off long enough to completely fuck his life away until now.
