Just wanted your thoughts, and yes im SORRY it's ANOTHER Rock Vs. Cena thread but with Cena hating on Rock for real and Rock seemingly looking flustered after Cena so called owning him, there are rumors that Cena and Rock backstage also are not on talking terms, just being civil and saying they are doing this whole thing for the business and being professional but at Wrestlemania what would and very well could happen if Rock or Cena decides to take everything out for real in a shoot match tearing each other apart. WWE would have no control on live TV and Wrestlemania of all things. Do you poeple think things could blow up or are both men far too professional?

Rock and Cena are way too classy and professional to pull shit like that at a house show let alone WrestleMania. There might be tension, but I still contend that they both are working us all like fiddles because we all know Cena will win and this is how to generate interest in the match.

Rock and Cena want to get paid so they will put on whatever match WWE tells them to put on. If they book a monkey being shoved down a pee hole. Someone is going to get a monkey in a pee hole. If they book a shoot (never in a million years because Cena and Rock are 2 of the most lucrative properties the WWE has ever had) then they will do a shoot (again, never going to happen).

I hope they book a donkey punch mid match.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-13-2012 12:17 AM

It's really not any worse than Cena wearing the Cleveland Cavs jersey. If we're gonna run down Rock's promo, there are way worse things than that to complain about.

Cena wearing the Cavs jersey, while cheap, wasn't more than a jersey he wore to the ring. It wasn't like it was the focus of the promo. Not like he relied on it like an easy crutch or anything.

You couldn't be right, no matter what kind of random or stupid shit I say, because I'm on the right side of the argument. You're pulling for a jobber whose gimmick came from 8-Mile, and evolved into WonderWigger, over an icon in the wrestling industry.

In case Vince McMahon has the biggest brain fart since the XFL, actually plans to try to job Rock out to Cena, and as a result, I'm not here; I'll say this now: If Cena beats The Rock, and doesn't die in a storyline "explosion" within a month of it happening, the WWE is going to take a turn for the worse.

Scenario: the world as we know it ends tomorrow, a few million peoples survive, a majority of modern technology is no longer feasible, Dewayne 'The Rock' Johnson survives.

He would contribute so little to society. Maybe he could plow fields with his mule like physique but, hell, in a few years that body will deteriorate because there will not be time to work out nor will such a thing be viable to survival. Also, this guy ain't doin anything with his brains. He would add nothing to society. Maybe try to conquer a town of thirty peoples, with the goal of using the peoples as surfs. Few things positive from the Rock in this senerio.

Jim Carry on the other hand has done DMT so he can spiritually guide us, make us laugh and teach us with a insightful and ever searching brain filled with pain, life, and love.

I dunno, I agree with you that it was cool that Rock did the insider nod to his heel concert in, what '03?...but anyway I personally think Rock did great singing, just wished he maybe would've switched up the music he played on guitar for each song. Also would've helped if he hadn't felt the oh-so-compelling need to take a sip of Fiji water after every 30 second-1 minute long 'song'...and the whole Team Bring It Anthem was kind of "MEH" at best, although the "we will ROCK you" at the end was a sort of cool touch.

Found that to be sort of an intriguing statement. How do you all feel about it? Agree? Disagree? Not sure?

Fox 03-14-2012 01:39 PM

I think this match might technically be bigger than Hogan/Rock. Cena is basically the Hogan of the current era and is inarguably a huge star, with more big wins, WWE/World Championships and main events under his name than The Rock had at his prime. Rock is a much bigger and more successful movie star than Hulk Hogan ever was during his short stint in Hollywood. Cena and Rock are bigger names now than Hogan and Rock were then. The problem is that pro wrestling as a whole has less value as an entity now than it did at WrestleMania 18, which is why we're seeing the lower ratings and disinterest from the general public. Rock can't save the WWE on his own.

Mr. C 03-16-2012 03:00 AM

I want Cena to win via cheating. I’d love it if he goes for the feet on the ropes in an act of desperation to get the three count. It could be one of the biggest moments of 2012 if done right.

With this kind of hype???

He will roll outside the ring, roll around it, and come back in from the other side.

And that's just selling the STF.

hey guys I hate to break this to you, but there will be a sharpshooter or two also

Rock Bottom 03-17-2012 03:26 AM

not only a sharpshooter, but rock's sharpshooter, but not only rock's sharpshooter, but rock's sharpshooter with john cena's passion face on the other side

his "i never give up i love this business i show up every day but im in a submission hold" face

rock does the sharpshooter to a tribute of owen hart, if you have a problem against this i suggest to keep it to yourself or you will have a bad reputation
